When a daring raid on Ponyville sees Fluttershy fall under the control of the evil, power hungry unicorn Xerox, Twilight must lead the others, accompanied by a certain special friend, in a desperate rescue mission to save her. The Elements of Harmony, perhaps the only power strong enough to face this new threat, must be reunited. But behind what is, by comparison, a simple rescue mission lurks a much older secret, one that leads back many millennia. Xerox meddles with forces outside his control, and when death is no longer an escape from his grasp it will take all the courage and strength of the seven ponies who stand against him to protect their world, and more, from destruction.
