The next day, Skylight arrived back at the self-care shop just before Photo Finish arrived. Ey barely had time to settle down before Photo Finish burst through the doors. “We start… Now!” she declared. She unfolded the camera from the suitcase and pointed it in Star Silk’s direction.

Camera flashes lit up the store as she took a burst of photos of Star Silk in multiple different positions.

Skylight barely had time to comprehend what was happening before Photo Finish declared “And now, we go!” as she folded up her camera and darted out the door.

Star Silk stepped off of the makeshift stage with the biggest smile I had ever seen in my life.

“Thanks for believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself,” Star Silk said, hugging me.

“You’re welcome,” I replied, not really sure what else to say.

Suddenly, the doors burst open and Sophie entered.

“Did I miss it? Did I miss Photo Finish?” she asked.

Star Silk and Skylight glanced at each other and giggled. “Uh, yeah,” they said simultaneously.

“Auh…” Sophie sighed, glancing at the floor in disappointment.

“Anyways, maple cookies and boba tea?” Skylight asked, pulling out a box of maple cookes and three boba teas.

“Yeah!” Star Silk and Sophie said.
