“This is miserable… I’m soooo weak”, Aria complained to her fellow sirens. The three sat eating breakfast in a dinner outside town.
The correct assumption by Twilight Sparkle, that with their gems shattered, the sirens would be unable to feed on the disharmony of students attending Canterlot high was followed up by the false assumption that the sirens possessed no other means of acquiring magic.
“You’ve always been weak! Ugg… But I get what you mean”, Adagio rubbed her head, acknowledging that the three were operating at sub-optimal levels to say the least. As she ate another fork-full of sausage, Adagio turned her attention to a couple fighting on the sidewalk outside the dinner. Instinctually reaching to her chest where her pendant once adorned, Adagio gave a dejected sigh before returning to her breakfast.
“Why don’t we do that old thing Soul told us about when he was still rocking with us?”, Aria asked.
“Oh! You mean the thing where we eat the tasty looking ones and take their magic?!”, Sonata was exited at the prospect of trying something new. The sirens daily activities had devolved into charming young boys into giving them lunch or a place to stay for awhile.
I say charm, but with their weakened magic it usually devolved into giving them a hand-job, or a night in bed. It was the only real social skill the three had developed in their time on Earth.

“No”, Adagio said flatly.

“NO YOU'RE NOT!”, Adagio yelled jumping up and standing between Sonata and her un-aware prey. “You eat him and his soul will corrupt your siren magic!”
“What siren magic?”, Aria chimed in, reminding Adagio that their power had already dwindled to the point of all but non-existence.
“Yah”, Sonata agreed. “Besides look at him!”
“Adagio turned to the guy, rolling her tongue in her lip as she watched him bend over and pull out his wallet.

Turning back to Sonata, Adagio seen the girl was rubbing her hands together, greedily licking her lips. “Sonata.. no.”

“What, how much you got?”, Adagio asked.

“Is that a lot?”, Sonata asked.
Aria walked forward and planted a kiss on Sonata’s lips. Breaking off she smiled lovingly at the ditsy girl. “Enough that we forgive you completely for eating like a cow all the time.”

However, a siren child had not been born in over a thousand years, due to Star Swirl sending the last of them to this new world.
Adagio and Aria were both confused, angry, curious, happy, and distraught. They wanted to tear into Sonata, but at the same time, they wanted to kiss her. Adagio rubbed her temple. She knew the risks, but Aria was right. If they didn’t find enough power to make it back to Equestria soon, they would be trapped here for eternity without anyone to love them. Mulling it over in her mind, Adagio relented. “Fine, but you two only eat who I approve, got it?”
“Yah whatever”, Aria dismissed, rubbing her hands on Sonata’s belly. “I want this”, She whispered into her ear.
Sonata giggled and smiled at her. “Then let’s go find you a boy!”
