An earth pony mare awakens in an unfamiliar place only to find herself with a number of troubles thrust in her face. Where was she? How did she get there? Why was she in so much pain? More importantly... who was she? Not even the photo of an adorable pink mare in her sweater pocket is able to provide an answer. Things quickly go south as the mare makes an attempt to leave the infirmary she finds herself in, however, when a mist-like entity attacks. After barely escaping unscathed and fleeing down the hall only to witness the monster being swallowed whole by another- perhaps even scarier- entity, the grim reality of her surroundings set in.

She very quickly learns she is trapped inside of a school building horribly infested with ghosts and demons alike. As she wanders the ruined halls in search of the mare in the photo and finds corpse after corpse, the mare slowly begins to piece together the truth behind their suffering and along with it, small fragments of her memories. Not all is as it seems in these not-so-hallowed halls, however. Will she be able to discover the truth and escape with both her memories and the mare whose photo she carries? Or will the curse of this school add her to the tally of lost, tortured souls who faced their demise within its walls?
