The Jedi Prince II: Trials of the Force

In the space above Cato Neimoidia, a squadron of TIE fighters was pursuing a CT-900 freighter towards the Imperial blockade. On the bridge were three human siblings, a reprogrammed B1 battle droid, and a green and white R4 unit astromech droid, they were carrying salvage leftover from the Clone War, along with two astromech droids, a WAC pit droid, and a repurposed B2 super battle droid operated by the Zilkin Lieutenant General Meebur Gascon.

“Zander, the shields won’t hold for long!” the middle sibling said.

“Don’t worry, Kordi. I’ll get us out of here,” Zander replied.

“Where are we headed, anyways?” the pit droid asked.

“We’re headed to a remote planet in Wild Space to bring this salvage to our client, he’s a Jedi,” ROG-R replied.

“Thank you for getting us out of there, Freemakers,” General Gascon said, “Good to see you functioning again, BZ.”

M5-BZ just beeped and whistled with happiness.

“Don’t thank us yet, General,” Zander replied.

It wasn’t long before they made the jump into hyperspace. Soon enough, the Freemakers reached the planet of Equestria. Shortly after entering the atmosphere, they landed on the side of the mountain where Canterlot was. The Freemakers, along with D-Squad unloaded the salvage from Cato Neimoidia and met up with their client, who revealed himself to be Blaze Ando.

“We’ve got the materials you asked for, Master Ando,” Zander said.

“Good work, Freemakers,” Blaze replied.

It wasn’t long before Cody and his friends came to check on the shipment. It was then that the Freemakers and D-Squad met Cody, Twilight, and their friends.

“Good to finally meet you personally, Freemakers and D-Squad. I’m Cody Ando and this is my girlfriend, Twilight Sparkle and our friends, Sunset Shimmer, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Sal, and Bucky,” Cody said, “Girls, Sal, and Bucky, this is Lieutenant General Meebur Gascon, Corporal WAC-47, QT-KT, U9-C4, and M5-BZ of D-Squad, and these are Zander, Kordi, and Rowan Freemaker, along with their droid, ROG-R.”

“Good to meet you all and welcome to Equestria,” Twilight greeted.

“Good to meet all of you too,” General Gascon replied.

“How’d you all like a tour of Canterlot?” Cody asked.

“Sure,” ROG-R replied.

It was then that Cody, Twilight, and their friends began showing the Freemakers and D-Squad around the city. After showing them everything in the streets, Harmony Squad led the Freemakers and D-Squad to the castle. Upon entry, the Freemakers and D-Squad marveled at the castle’s interior. As everyone walked along, the Freemakers and D-Squad noticed the stained glass windows, particularly the most recent one depicting Discord’s second defeat.

“Good thing you came when you did, because it was crazy here, and I mean like chaotic,” Twilight said.

“What do you mean?” Zander asked.

“You see, earlier today, we were up against a powerful ancient being called Discord. He’s the Lord of Chaos and he made a wacky mess of Canterlot and Ponyville. He is also an old enemy of my mom and aunt as they first defeated him over a thousand years ago,” Cody replied, “I knew something about the bizarre happenings he caused seemed familiar to me.”

“How so?” Zander asked.

“I read about something like that documented in ancient Jedi texts,” Cody replied, “According to them, Discord had also been wreaking havoc elsewhere in the galaxy, since he had encounters with the Jedi. Also according to ancient records, he used to be a Sith Lord before being excommunicated by Darth Bane when he created the Rule of Two.”

“Interesting,” General Gascon replied.

“How did Discord even return in the first place?” Rowan asked.

“Since the Elements of Harmony are now connected to us, Princesses Celestia and Luna lost their connection which is what enabled him to break free from his stone prison,” Twilight replied.

“That and my brother, Rex’s girlfriends were bickering on a school field trip to the sculpture garden earlier today. Apparently, he was able to sense disharmony enough to break free as well,” Cody added.

“What were these bizarre events that Cody heard about in the old Jedi texts?” Rowan asked.

“He created some crazy weather, such as cotton candy clouds and chocolate milk rain. He also caused the Apple family’s cornfield to pop. According to Cody, the Jedi encountered phenomena similar to and not limited to what we saw at Sweet Apple Acres,” Rainbow said.

“How strange,” Kordi replied.

“Very strange, but also very delicious,” Pinkie added.

“How’d you all like to see Ponyville next?” Twilight asked.

“Sure,” Kordi replied.

It was then that Twilight and Sunset teleported themselves and everyone else to Ponyville. There, Cody and his squad showed the Freemakers and D-Squad around the town.

“This looks like a nice town,” WAC said. BZ, QT, and C4 beeped and whistled in agreement.

Meanwhile, at the lake, Cody’s younger brother, Rex was swimming with his three girlfriends. Scootaloo wore a red swimsuit, while Rex wore his black swim trunks. Apple Bloom was wearing a pale green swimsuit, floating comfortably on a ducky inner tube as Scootaloo jumped into the lake with a large splash. Scootaloo then surfaced and squirted some water at Apple Bloom, making the yellow filly laugh. Sweetie Belle was just reclining at the lake’s edge as she wore a distinctive pink swimsuit.

“Sweetie Belle, come on and swim with us,” Rex called out.

“You want to?” Scootaloo asked.

“Look out below!” Sweetie Belle said with a smirk as she jumped in.

The four of them playfully splashed each other. Rex then surprised Apple Bloom by pushing her off the tube. She then playfully splashed him in response.

After swimming for a two more hours, the CMC came out of the lake and dried off. They returned to town where Cody, Twilight, and their friends were hanging out with D-Squad and the Freemakers.

“Hey, Cody. Hi, Twilight and everyone,” Rex greeted.

“Hey, Rex,” Cody said.

“Hi, Rex,” Twilight added.

“Who are all you guys?” Rex asked.

“I’m Lieutenant General Meebur Gascon and this is my squad, WAC-47, U9-C4, QT-KT, and M5-BZ,” the Zilkin replied.

“These our new friends, ROG-R, Zander, Kordi, and Rowan Freemaker,” WAC added.

“Good to meet you all,” Rex said.

Harmony Squad and the CMCs got to know D-Squad and the Freemakers as they told each other about each other’s adventures and struggles. They mingled for two hours at Sugarcube Corner while enjoying some pastries.

“Sorry to hear that you were evicted from your quarters at the Wheel,” Cody said, “You’re welcome to stay here as long as long as you wish.”

“Thanks, Cody,” Zander replied.

Soon enough, Harmony Squad took the Freemakers and D-Squad back to Canterlot. There, they showed them to some of the castle’s guest rooms.
