After Yoriichi was killed by his older brother, he was pulled from the black void of death into the land of Equestria, a place free from the personified plague known as demons. Now with barely any purpose and a heavy heart, the ex-human must learn to adapt to his surroundings while also coping with past pain with the help of a shy pegasus.

All the while, a plan to bring down Equestria once and for all is brewing, and the one behind it is an old foe Yoriichi never thought he would see again.
