Life as a Sonic OC Redux

*Pharynx's POV*

Okay, Raptor, Katrina, Starfire, Tanya, K’Dagon and I were at the Living Forest, ready to patrol.

Thorax was with my group.

Thorax spoke "We should be careful brother, we have no idea what will attack us."

“Thorax, I know.” I pointed out as Katrina and Starfire nuzzled Raptor again.

Thorax spoke "You heard what happened to Chrysalis though... Our timeline's Chrysalis that is."

I slapped Thorax upside the back of the head. “That was the enemy timeline’s Chrysalis. Stop worrying or you’re not gonna tell who’s who.”

Thorax spoke "Not THAT Chrysalis! I was talking about the one we know! She had gotten hurt protecting a trio of baby Mews!"

“How was I supposed to know with all of THIS going on?” I pointed out.

Thorax spoke "No wonder Amy calls you Mr Grumpy Bug."

K’Dagon spoke "Alright, calm down, you two."

Thorax spoke "Pharynx and I bicker a lot but that's just how most siblings are and..."

Thorax started hissing since he sensed something big coming.

But then I noticed DK as if he had his guard up around something.

Thorax hisses "I think we're dealing with a ghost-fighting type here so normal attacks won't have any effect!"

“Really?” I scoffed.

Tanya spoke "Be on your guard, we might encounter this enemy during our patrol."

A portal opens before Warrior-verse Danyelle and Warrior-verse Twilight step out of it.

Warrior-verse Danyelle spoke "We can help you out."

From Tanya's perspective, Warrior-verse Danyelle had a really powerful aura that rivaled that of Sindel during her youth.

Raptor spoke "Well, what're we waiting for? Let's go!"

Warrior-verse Twilight snickers "You sound like Rainbow Dash."

We started patrolling as the two from the Warrior-verse and Donkey Kong accompanied us. We beat enemies and ambushers, cleared towers and challenges, opened chest, bought items, komponents, relics and talismans from the Kollector, upgraded said talismans at a forge with Bob's help using the komponents we had, unlocked a gate with the Living Torch we found before we later arrived at a bridge.

Warrior-verse Danyelle hisses suddenly since she sensed something coming and fast.

But then Donkey Kong tackled all of us, sending us back a bit.

Katrina asks "What the?!"

Starfire spoke "Hey!"

But then flames roared across the bridge from the other end, seeing a giant round black hog blowing flames out of its snout, rode by a giant monstrous gorilla-like beast.

Warrior-verse Danyelle growls "Let's beat them up!"

But the flames were burning too hot for us to get to them before DK jumped and clapped hard, making big sound waves and deflecting the flames before he did it again, deflecting the fire more. The gorilla repeated it until the flames were fully forced back, with another stunning the pig before Donkey Kong jumped onto its snout and delivered a flurry of punches, weakening it until he delivered one more punch, sending himself back to us while making it shake hard enough to bounce the monster off and back on, squishing the pig as it faded away in a puff dark smoke. The monster then roared while pounding his chest before jumping across the bridge in one leap, facing us.

Warrior-verse Danyelle roars loud, knocking the monster back.

As umbral energy swirls around her, Warrior-verse Danyelle growls "Let me handle this one!"

The Abyssinian-alicorn hybrid flew at the ghost-fighting ape, biting and clawing at it with darkness magic.

The enemy dodged all of them before delivering punches and kicks as Warrior-Verse Danyelle dodged them. But then she saw an opening and counterattacked with a kick in the face before she delivered a flurry of kicks with the last one sending him crashing into a wall before getting back up and firing dark and ghostly projectiles from its mouth at Warrior-Verse Danyelle.

Warrior-verse Danyelle shot a dual flying-darkness scream at the ghost-fighting ape, pushing him off the bridge.

But then the enemy managed to latch onto the wall before climbing all the way up when Warrior-Verse Danyelle did a sweep kick, knocking it into the air before she flew up and delivered a flurry of dark-infused punches with the last one sending him to a wall before he fell down and got back up.

Warrior-verse Danyelle clamps down on the ghost-fighting ape's neck with Aerial-Shadow Fang hard before throwing him far off the cliffside.

Starfire spoke "*Bead of sweat* Uh, Warrior-verse Danyelle? The bridge is only a quarter mile."

Warrior-verse Danyelle spoke "Uh… whoops."

The ghostly ape grabbed onto the other cliffside and climbed back up before leaping at Warrior-verse Danyelle when she delivered a dark-infused hammer attack on the forehead, making him hold it in pain while falling onto his back, leaving himself vulnerable as Warrior-Verse Danyelle got onto his chest and delivered a flurry of dark-infused punches to the face before delivering a dark-infused uppercut, sending the enemy back onto his feet before he roared once, stumbling before he roared again as if he howled towards the sky before falling onto his knees, and onto his right cheek, fully defeated.

Warrior-verse Danyelle shoves the body off.

Warrior-verse Danyelle spoke "Huh, I think we may have just killed a guy..."

Warrior-verse Twilight spoke "If anyone asks, Thorax did it."

Thorax asks "Yeah... Wait, what?"

I couldn’t help but stifle a snicker.

Thorax spoke "Yak it up Pharynx plus I know you have a crush on that Limestone mare."

Despite my dark coloring, I had a blush on my face.

Warrior-Verse Twilight giggles "Kinda expected that."

A smoky-dark gray furred Mobian she-cat with pale blue eyes, a broken leg and crutches used a slingshot to shoot a pepper bomb at an enemy that was about to attack me from behind, the pepper had gone into the enemy's eyes thus causing them immense pain.

The she-cat spoke "That was too close!"

Katrina spoke "I’ll take care of this."

Katrina opened her maw and used Crunch on the enemy, immobilizing it.

The she-cat spoke "Careful! That's Tigerclaw!!"

The Alternate Tigerclaw slashes Katrina's face, forcing her to let go of him.

The she-cat pelted Alternate Tigerclaw with more pepper bombs, getting one in his mouth as he yowled in pain which caused him to swell up.

Warrior-verse Twilight and Warrior-verse Danyelle quickly put up a magic barrier to shield the group and I as Alternate Tigerclaw exploded.

Katrina spoke "Yeesh, even Jasmine would’ve been caught off guard by that."

While tending to Katrina's injuries, the she-cat spoke "Before you decide to attack me, I'm on your side since I had to follow that jerk from my timeline."

Starfire asks "Wait, you’re not from here?"

The she-cat spoke "Yes and so are the ones you call Ravenpaw, Spottedleaf and Featherwhisker. I can't take Spottedleaf back since she's dead in my timeline."

K’Dagon asks "What?!"

Warrior-verse Twilight spoke "The dark gray cat is right, the same thing happened with the Spottedleaf of my universe. The world she came from, she can't go back since she's dead in that world."

Tanya spoke "Hold on. State your name."

Warrior-verse Twilight spoke "My universe's Yellowfang did mention a Cinderpelt one time."

Tanya spoke "That did not answer my question."

Cinderpelt spoke "As the strange horse said, my name is Cinderpelt."

But then Warrior-verse Danyelle used darkness spells on the eyes of me and the other males, temporarily blinding us.

Warrior-verse Twilight spoke "Have you boys no decency? The cat has no clothes on."

Raptor spoke "Hey! I don’t think any of us noticed that!"

The Garchomp had a point there.

Cinderpelt had covered her chest in embarrassment.

Thorax spoke "I just hope the last group is having better luck than us."

After the girls got some clothes on Cinderpelt that suited her, we crossed the bridge as we beat more enemies and ambushers while clearing more challenges before Liu Kang later contacted us.

Liu Kang spoke "At Scorpion’s insistence, this Johnny Cage has arrived to help obliterate this timeline. Nothing will scorch it faster than Hollywood’s hottest star."

Johnny Cage spoke "*On comms* Holy crap!!! That’s me! I mean, he’s a less handsome, less perfect me. But that’s still me. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but KICK MY ASS!!!"

Thanks to shadow movement, Flintfur roundhouse kicks Dark Star Cage in the back of the head hard.

Dark Star Cage spoke "Gyah! *Notices us* Ohohoho, you’re gonna get it."

Tanya faced the enemy as K’Dagon helped her. The two fought him as he had energy fists before soon flashed the area with a camera, temporarily blinding all of us except for him since he had sunglasses as he later vanished, causing energy balls to fly as we managed to dodge them as Warrior-Verse Danyelle helped Cinderpelt dodge them too before Dark Star Cage reappeared with energy armor. Eventually, Dark Star Cage was beaten as he got up, dizzied long enough for K’Dagon to use his raptorial blades on his arms to slice up the enemy, but it looked like nothing happened when K’Dagon stabbed Dark Star Cage’s head with one of his arm using his raptorial blade before pulling it off the enemy’s body before the Kytinn kicked it, causing the body to fall apart in cut pieces as he started eating the head.

Flintfur growls "damn, my collar got torn off in that fight!"

Cinderpelt froze at that voice before looking at Flintfur.

Flintfur spoke "Before you say something, I'm not the same cat you know from your timeline."

Cinderpelt spoke "But..."

Flintfur spoke "My voice has a softer tone than the cat you knew."

*Twilight's POV*

Okay, so it looked like Kuai Liang, Ryōta, Raph, Mona and I arrived at the foot of the Fire Temple.

Midnight was with my group.

Midnight asks "You sure about this Sparkle Butt?"

That alone got a slight snicker from Mona and Kuai Liang.

Raph spoke "Hehe, good one."

Kuai Liang spoke "My apologies, I don't laugh much."

Mona spoke "Me neither."

Ryōta spoke "Oof, better not let Pinkie hear that."

With Estelle on her head, Amy steps out of a warp ring while holding a crying Luster Dawn.

Amy spoke "Oi Twilight, can you do something about this? She won't stop crying."

“Okay.” I responded.

Amy passes Luster to me.

Amy spoke "*As I helped Luster Dawn calm down* I should be able to help though."

I notice a tooth starting to poke through the gumline on Luster's upper jaw.

I spoke "Ah, there's the problem. Her teeth are starting to come in."

I managed to bring out a teething ring as Luster started to chew on it.

Amy spoke "I had the same issue with Estelle but I had to get acid-proof teething rings since she's half Changeling."

"... Should I..." I started to ask.

Amy spoke "It's okay, I'll fill in for you."

I spoke "But Thorax is out on patrol."

A sudden hiss came from Estelle before a sharp ribbon struck Amy in the back hard, causing a nasty wound.

I spoke "Amy!"

Amy spoke "I'm fine. It'll take more than that to knock me down. *Brings out piko hammer*"

But due to the injury, Amy couldn't focus well.

Shifting to my hybrid form, I spoke "*picking the hammer up with ease* You should rest Amy, I can handle this. Grass is weak to fire after all."

I let the others know to stay back to tend to Amy's injured back.

I step forward alone, sword in my left hand and Amy's hammer in my right hand.

Amy giggles "Heh, how long have you been training to carry my hammer like that?"

I spoke "I mixed my earth pony strength with Deep Blue's strength."

Midnight chuckles "I bet I can hold it too."

“Not the time-Wait, when’d you get here?” I asked in confusion.

Midnight spoke "I went with your group since Opaline asked me to."

But then I sensed the source of the ribbons approaching.

Midnight growls.

“Don’t worry, I’ll at least try to calm whoever’s attacking us down.” I assured.

Midnight leaps over the paradoxal Sylveon before biting down on a bad person, ripping them in half.

The paradoxal Sylveon asks "What the?"

I spoke "He just saved you from getting attacked by a murder tabby."

Mona and Raph laughed as Kuai Liang stifled another snicker.

Midnight chuckles *Smirk* You’re not trying to take over Pinkie’s element, are you?"

I laugh "It doesn't work that way but what's worse than a Murder Tabby? Two Murder Tabbies!"

At that very moment, an unknown warp ring opens before a pair of tabby cat Mobians fell out.

I spoke "Hold your weapons Raph! Those two are not our enemies!"

Raph asks "Oh yeah? *Spins sais* How’re we supposed to know that?"

The older dark tabby Mobian cat spoke "My son and I came from a timeline where there are constant wars..."

I spoke "Sombra timeline no doubt..."

The older dark tabby Mobian cat spoke "They started when Sombra returned and took over the Crystal Empire."

I spoke "We got a few other displaced cats as well, one of which is Spottedleaf. And please don't freak out at the sight of Flintfur, he's not the same cat you might have known."

The younger Tabby Mobian spoke "Got it."

I take a closer look at the older tabby's left wrist, noticing the exact marking on it that was on Bluestar's left wrist.

I ask "You from ThunderClan?"

The older dark tabby Mobian cat spoke "Yes."

I spoke "If what Danyelle said is true, then your name must be Tigerclaw. And the other is Hawkfrost."

Hawkfrost spoke "Guess introductions aren’t necessary."

My right ear twitches since I heard something.

“Sounds like fire. We better get moving.” I noted.

Hawkfrost hisses since he sensed someone coming.

But then a Sombra showed up in fiery colors.

Hawkfrost hisses "That's the jerk that turned the clans against each other in a fight to the death..."

Tigerclaw spoke "*Slaps Hawkfrost up the back of the head* No you idiot, that isn't the Sombra from our timeline. Last we checked, he doesn't have fiery colors like red, orange or yellow."

I bit back a giggle.

I ask "How did you know about the headslap?"

Tigerclaw spoke "A certain she-cat that bested me in battle before."

I ask "Did she have two tails?"

Tigerclaw spoke "Yes, and she's one of the leaders that are trying to stop the wars."

I spoke "I recall hearing from a cat named Graystripe mentioning something about another cat named Emberstreak."

Raph spoke "Tch! We can talk later, right now we got a ghost to fight!"

Midnight snarls "RIGHT!"

Midnight fought the enemy as Raph helped out before the two soon won while finishing him.

Hawkfrost spoke "it's not over yet!"

Kuai Liang spoke "He's right, we still have the leader to find."

We started moving forward, beating enemies and ambushers, buying items, komponents, relics and talismans from the Kollector, upgrading said talismans using said komponents at forges with Bob's help, opening chests, and clearing towers and challenges. It took a while, but we later reached a locked gate and opened it with the sacred key we found earlier as we beat more enemies and ambushers, including another commander, cleared more challenges, and opened another chest before we soon stopped, noticing the large amounts of fire in the area when Liu Kang contacted us.

Liu Kang spoke "Denied his family, his clan, and now his vengeance, Scorpion blazes with demonic fury. He will inflict it on all of his tormentors."

"Sounds like the leader's nearby now. Listen, when we fight this Scorpion, we'll need to beat him, but not kill him." I informed.

Midnight asks "Should we get the others to help us out?"

Sonic pops up with his group before teleporting and reappearing with Thorax's group as Danyelle popped up with the other two groups.

Sonic spoke "No need Midnight, Danyelle and I got the others."

Danyelle spoke "Kuai Liang will take the lead on this one."

Kuai Liang spoke "Hmm. Takes a scorpion to fight a scorpion. Very well."

Sonic spoke "Those with fire or lightning attacks will back Kuai up."

Danyelle, Tigerclaw and I spoke "Right!"

Cinderpelt spoke "I'll help you out with my pepper bombs if need be."

Thorax spoke "Amy and I will stay out of the fight."

Flintfur spoke "I'll help fight!"

Jasmine suddenly popped up before casting an invisibility field around us. "Hold on a second there."

I spoke "Before we go into battle, we should have something to eat. No sense of fighting on an empty stomach."

Jasmine spoke "That's what I was gonna say."

Giving Jasmine a stink eye, I spoke "I'll have some carrots and daffodils. I know that the cats want meat so maybe some fish or squirrels for them. Sonic and Danyelle obviously want chili dogs. The others can decide for themselves."

Jasmine then whispered to me, "Don't worry, I'll prepare normal food this time since there's no time for jokes right now."

"Thanks, Jasmine. I appreciate it." I smiled as the female draconequus got to work.

Danyelle asks "Could I have ramen instead of chili dogs?"

I giggle "And knowing Raph, he'd want pizza."

Danyelle spoke "Leo and Donnie too."

Jasmine spoke "Got it."

I spoke "It's too bad I can't eat meat... I have the wrong digestive system for that and before you get any ideas Jasmine, you can't change it."

Jasmine spoke "I get the idea."

Later, we all had our fill and were ready to go and like Jasmine said, it was normal food.

I ask "Alright, everyone ready?"

A warp ring opens up before a trio of demons I know step out.

The demonic chakat spoke "You can count me, Dusty and Husk in as well. Oh, I'm Emberclaw by the way. Charlie sent the three of us to help you out. Plus it'll help Dusty get some time away from that Valentino jerk."

Jasmine spoke "Good, if there's anyone capable of attacking with ice or water, that's good too, since that's stronger against fire, despite it being the same the other way around. Fire element users take less damage from blood attacks while physical attackers and fire users are tougher against fire attacks."

Danyelle spoke "I take less damage from air, water, earth and fire attacks plus I have immunity to electric attacks. Which will come in handy if that Scorpion decides to use electric attacks on the lot of us."

Jasmine asks "Still have those talismans and relics?"

Sonic, Thorax, Danyelle, Applejack, Twirama and I spoke "No idea."

Tails spoke "I know we do."

Raph spoke "Yeah, we even have these molten masks and molten capsules."

Raph brought out ten of said masks and five of said capsules."

Mona spoke "We believe they'll help our defenses against fire."

Zoey giggles "Good think we got a walking lightning rod just in case of electric attacks."

Danyelle spoke "ZOEY!!!!"

The cat Mobini giggles "You want some cheese with that whine Danyelle?"

That alone sent Husk into a laughing fit.

Emberclaw was on hir back while laughing.

Emberclaw laughs "Oh cuss! I'm SO telling that one to Charlie later!"

Jasmine asks "*giggle!* Okay, that's enough fun. Is everyone ready?

Zoey spoke "Yeah!"

Everyone else and I agreed.

Jasmine spoke "Alright, then I'm gonna head out and lower the field. 3... 2... 1... 0."

Jasmine vanished, and so did the invisibility field.

Flintfur was in his feral lion-sized form as he yowls loud, causing the others and I to charge into battle

But then a giant fiery vortex surrounded the area, splitting our group in half.

Danyelle and I disperse the flames, reuniting the two groups.

But the vortex came back as Danyelle and I tried again, but the flames were too strong this time.

Kuai Liang spoke "...Ready yourselves."

All of a sudden, all of the flames vanish into the mouth of a draconic male with pale salmon pink hair.

The male laughs "What was that? Those flames were pathetic!"

Kuai Liang spoke "No, that was merely the beginning. Do not think you will be completely immune to the enemy's attacks."

Twirama spoke "You underestimated Natsu, he eats fire like it was candy."

Kuai Liang spoke "Still everything has a limit."

But then Kuai Liang blocked a physical arm attack, clashing with the spectre, Hellfire Scorpion.

Kuai Liang asks "Were you also once Lin Kuei?"

Hellfire Scorpion spoke "I would never run with those dogs."

Kuai Liang pushed the enemy back before delivering a flaming spin kick, sending Hellfire Scorpion back a bit who blocked it before he spin-jumped while leaving a trail of fire on the ground with his right foot, ready for battle. Kuai Liang summoned a swirling pillar of flames around him while making arm movements with his upper arms lit aflame before he readied himself, extinguishing them as the flames on the ground faded. Husk, Katrina and I jumped in, fighting the enemy as he was surprisingly great before we managed to knock him down. But then he got back up, gaining a fiery aura that couldn't be bended, absorbed, put out by water or eaten as he became fully armored before he started throwing fireballs at all of us rapidly, leaving us no choice but to dodge them.

OC-verse Danyelle transformed into her Danydonna form before fighting hellfire with hellfire.

Flintfur bloodbends the other enemies, holding them at bay.

After Hellfire Scorpion stopped throwing fireballs, he charged at us again as Mona, Tomas, Kiri and Husk jumped in, fighting him. They struggled a bit at first, before they managed to knock him down before he got back up when he suddenly sunk into the ground below through fire, vanishing as burning chains flew all around the place from everywhere and all kinds of angles in straight lines. Even if any of us were hit, I had a feeling we wouldn't be injured, but then the chains burned hotter and brighter before exploding, and I had a feeling that would hurt, so we dodged the chains altogether as more waves of them came with us even jumping or ducking to avoid them a few times.

Danydonna spoke "HELLEFIRE CHAOS BARRIER!!"

A hellfire-proof Chaos Barrier shields us from the chains.

Despite the chains having gotten through the barrier, the flames on them were absorbed into the barrier, and when the chains on the outside exploded, the ones of the inside fell limp and shattered.

Twirama asks "Hey Dany, how long can you keep that barrier going?"

Danydonna spoke "Long enough to wear the guy out."

I counted ten waves before they stopped with Hellfire Scorpion resurfacing before he burned brightly, setting the entire place ablaze while gaining a fire armor that couldn't be bended, absorbed, put out by water or eaten. OC-verse Natsu, Kuai Liang, Angel Dust, Emberclaw and I jumped in, fighting the enemy as our attacks did hit him, but couldn't make him flinch as we started struggling, but kept fighting while everyone else held off the minions. It took a bit but we managed to beat Hellfire Scorpion with Kuai Liang dealing the final blow, knocking him out while causing the armor and the surrounding fires to fade away.

Danydonna ties the guy up with hellfire-proof rope.

Danydonna spoke "That should hold him from trying to escape."

I noticed a burning stone as I picked it up with my magic.

Angel Dust chuckles "Heh, would ya look at that? A genuine Nether Stone."

Husk spoke "Heh, that little rock's an everburning key that lets you go through hellfire gates."

Liu Kang, Raiden and Kung Lao soon arrived as the electricity-wielding champion helped strengthen the ropes before Hellfire Scorpion woke up on his knees before he roared in absolute anger.

Hellfire Scorpion snarls "Let go of me!"

Danydonna spoke "Not a chance, bub."

Liu Kang spoke Even though defeated, it seems this Scorpion remains consumed by rage. It is true that he is a clear and present danger to all timelines."

Danydonna asks "So should we finish him?"

Liu Kang spoke No, it will take compassion, not kombat, to calm his fury."

That left us confused before Liu Kang took all of us present and Hellfire Scorpion to the Hourglass before Danydonna instinctively released the spectre as he stood up, confused while Liu Kang searched through the hourglass.

"What are you doing?" I asked before Liu Kang soon stopped.

Liu Kang spoke "Using the Hourglass, I have found a timeline that this Scorpion could not. One which had an unattached Harumi. This Harumi is unlike any other. Having lost her Hanzo to that timeline's Quan Chi, it is she who has become Scorpion."

Hellfire Scorpion became shocked at hearing that before he looked, seeing that it was true.

Hellfire Scorpion spoke "...I will go there now."

He then vanished in flames before we saw him appear in the hourglass, joining Scorpion Harumi in a fight against that timeline's Quan Chi and his forces.

Liu Kang spoke "I can tell that they will bond over their shared grief. That this Hanzo and that Harumi will join forces to defeat evil in her timeline. But it is not just that Quan Chi who should fear these Scorpions' stings."

I was glad that this invasion was put to an end.

*Danyelle's POV*

My Dimensional Scream suddenly went off before it showed me and me alone something odd. A beautiful night sky and a glowing full moon, before the sky became dark, pitch black even, with the moon being swallowed in a lunar eclipse as I heard dark female laughter. I don't know who or which timeline for sure would be invading next, but whatever my Dimensional Scream showed me, it gave me a hint.

I think "{I should probably talk to Garnet and Sapphire about this, they might know what's coming next.}"
