Life as a Sonic OC Redux

*Winter's POV*

Diamond asks "You sure mom?"

"Yeah, it's only a business trip." I assured.

Crystal spoke "Momma!"

Crystal leapt onto me.

I catch my daughter with my forepaws.

I laugh "Gotcha!"

I tickled Crystal, making her laugh.

I spoke "Oof... Not again... Richy, I feel funny."

Filthy spoke "It's alright, sweetheart."

I spoke "I told that one catgirl that I would be meeting up with her today."

Diamond asks "You won't be gone for long though, right?"

I ruffle my stepdaughter's mane.

I spoke "I might be gone for a week, maybe longer if things go badly. But you got your friends to hang out with. *giggle* Especially that Mamoru fella."

Diamond spoke "*Blush* M-Mom!"

I spoke "*hearing my comm go off* Hold on, I need to take this call."

I go into a different room before answering the call.

I growl "What the hell do you want Blitzo? Can't you understand that I'm about to go on a business trip?"

Blitz spoke "There's a deranged client trying to hire us to kill you, but she has no moola, so that ain't happening. So she stormed off in a fit, you're welcome."

The call ended as I silently gave a sigh of relief.

I think "{That oughta keep Spoiled Rich out of my mane for good...}"

Filithy spoke "Be safe, sweetie."

"I will, honey. Now kids, I'm off." I bid farewell.

Thanks to a warp ring from Sally, I head to Morioh.

Not realizing I was now on my hind legs, I was wobbling since I was too used to being on four paws.

I also noticed myself wearing clothes that suited me perfectly. I gotta thank Rarity for insisting me to wear some later.

I trip over one of my three tails, falling flat on my face.

I groan "Ow.... Now I know how Inuyasha feels whenever he gets the command from Kagome..."

I shakily got back up, trying to balance.

I lowered my tails to the ground, using them as a third leg for balance.

I spoke "Huh, that could work."

I then saw Josuke and Ichigo walking as the cat Mobini giggled.

Ichigo giggles "I can't believe you reshaped that guy's face to look like a pig's."

Josuke chuckles "Hehe, I told ya Shining Diamond can rearrange that punk's face."

I wobble over to the two.

I spoke "Konnichiwa you two."

Ichigo spoke "Oh, hi."

Josuke spoke "'Sup. We were just heading to Cafe Rengatei to meet up with Koichi and Okuyasu."

I spoke "But is it a good idea for a demon like me to tag along? I can't suppress my demonic energy that well."

Josuke spoke "Come on, they've seen Tails and Midnight before and they took it fine."

I spoke "Tails isn't a demon..."

Ichigo spoke "He's a Ninetales. But let's go."

I rev my tails up to take flight since I had no balance on two legs.

I spoke "Hehe, butt-copter."

Josuke spoke "Ya know you won't get better until you keep trying."

I spoke "Oi, I'm not meant to be walking on two legs. I'm not a Mobian though, I'm a demonic Equian."

Ichigo: Yeah, but we don't want your tails to get tired.

"Okay, fair point." I admitted as we went to the café, meeting up with two of Josuke's friends he mentioned.

Okuyasu spoke "Yo!"

Koichi spoke "Hello."

I spoke "Hey."

Koichi asks "Um, Josuke, Ichigo, who’s she?"

I spoke "My name is Winter Frost-Rich, I'm also a royal guard too."

Okuyasu asks "Say what?"

Ichigo spoke "What she means is that she works under Princess Celestia."

Koichi spoke "Whoa, that’s a lot of responsibility."

I spoke "It's a big responsibility and before you ask if I had killed anyone, I have killed someone before. But as things are right now, I'm on maternity leave since I have yet another child on the way."

Okuyasu asks "Okay, can we switch subjects?"

I push a glass of chocolate milk away since I couldn't digest any form of chocolate.

Ichigo asks "Everything alright?"

I spoke "Due to my fox half, I can't have any kind of chocolate since it's toxic to canids."

Ichigo spoke "Oh, I see."

Josuke asks "Anyway, you really wanna see Mr. Joestar?"

“Yeah. I was honestly surprised that Rich wanted to make a partnership with him and the Speedwagon Foundation.” I admitted.

An extremely dizzy dusty orange mini-Apatosaurus female collapsed onto the floor since she was hiding in onw of my tails.

To my surprise, she was wearing female cave clothing.

The mini-Apatosaurus had thrown up a bit on the floor.

“Okay, you’ll need a bit of a shower.” I noted.

Ichigo spoke "What she needs is something to sooth her stomach since it was your butt-copter that made her dizzy."

“Like herbal tea.” I added.

I gently pick the mini-Apatosaurus up and set her on the table.

I call a waitress over and ask for a peppermint tea.

It didn’t take long for said tea to get ready.

The mini-Apatosaurus groans in pain.

“Easy now. This’ll help.” I said as I helped the little girl drink the tea down.

The mini-Apatosaurus groans "Oh treestars... What is that..."

Guess she doesn’t know much.

I ask "Don't mind me asking, but what is with that weird rock?"

Josuke spoke "Oh, nothing important really. Yo, Angelo."

My ears flatten since I didn't believe Josuke.

"Anyway, since this little girl isn't really familiar with the place, I'll give her a little tour. And don't worry, I won't leave her side." I assured.

The mini-Apatosaurus spoke "I have a name you know... It's Lizzie."

"Sorry about that." I apologized.

Lizzie asks "Got any tree stars?"

“Sorry, what?” I asked, totally confused.

Ichigo spoke "She might be referring to the maple leaves, they're shaped like stars."

“Wait, really?” I asked as Lizzie was confused.

Ichigo used her magic to teleport a small pile of maple leaves into the cafe.

Lizzie gasps "Tree stars!"

Lizzie dug in as she started eating them.

Ichigo whispers in my ear.

Ichigo whispers "{I don't think draconequus magic can change Lizzie's height.}"

I shrugged at that as Lizzie soon belched with a comically distended belly.

I giggle "For such a tiny girl, you got the appetite of a full sized Apatosaurus!"

I helped Lizzie get up before the two of us started walking. “We’ll catch up with you guys later.”

I had the mini-Apatosaurus on my head since she wasn't as big as most Mobians.

Ichigo: Later.

Josuke and Ichigo headed out before Lizzie and I soon saw Yukako and Koichi having some dessert at a table at a place called “Cafe de Maigot” before Koichi’s almost fell. Koichi and Yukako caught it before they noticed their hands touching, making each other blush.

A man spoke *Looks at his watch* Oh, look at the time! It’s already four!"

Koichi suddenly yelped with a pale before clutching his belly. “What’s going on?! Why does my stomach feel like it’s about to explode?! This isn’t gonna end well! *Grabs bag* Sorry, Yukako. I gotta go home right now!”

I suddenly had the feeling that wasn’t Koichi’s bag he grabbed.

Yukako spoke "No, Koichi! Please don’t!"

But then I noticed Yukako’s eyebrows and eye shapes looking different.

Yukako asks "Why does it only last for a measly thirty minutes?!"

Yukako then left while picking up a bag, walking away in a rage.

“Odd. Better keep our distance and see how this goes.” I said to Lizzie before we later arrived at the mall, seeing Koichi Yukako, a Smeargle, two Chesnaughts who appeared to be Koichi’s mother and big sister, Josuke, Ichigo, a human-Beastman couple with the female, who I’m guessing is Lillian from what Danyelle told me, carrying a baby, and someone who looked like Mister Joestar.

The Smeargle spoke "This seems like an excellent place to start."

The Smeargle Poke-Mobian took some pictures with a camera as it gave two flashes, making the baby bird whimper before it started crying.

Lillian spoke "You probably didn’t know before, but she doesn’t like flashes, especially from cameras."

The hawk Beastman male had a pinkish brown female Mobian hawk toddler on his shoulders.

Jake asks "Hey Lills, isn't that Winter Frost?"

Lillian spoke "Yeah, but this isn’t good. The stress is triggering Naomi’s Stand, making her and my hands disappear."

Josuke spoke "Well, let’s go, guys. We gotta get outta here!"

All of us started heading out through a crowd.

Joseph spoke "Pardon us. Coming through."

Josuke spoke "Move it, people, outta the way."

Koichi’s Mother asks "What’s happening?"

Lillian accidentally bumped past Koichi.

Lillian spoke "My bad, buddy."

I noticed that bump sending Koichi to Yukako, leaving the two shocked.

Koichi spoke "Wowsers. Yukako."

Yukako spoke "K-Koichi, I…"

But then I saw something that blew my mind, I saw Koichi and Yukako embrace and kiss, though that was unnoticed by everyone in the mall. I decided to let them have their moment and kept quiet.

*Two Days later…*

I caught up with Ichigo while I was giving Danyelle and Cadence a call as I decided to tell them what I saw in the mall, and needless to say, they were shocked.

Danyelle spoke "Don't give me that sass though Cadence, you oughta know that Poké-Mobians are out of my jurisdiction even though I'm part Mew."

Cadence spoke "But regardless, my magic was on the fritz since I sensed something off."

Danyelle spoke "The Amore in me is saying the same thing..."

Ichigo asks "And you say she looked totally different?"

“Yeah.” I answered as Lizzie was confused before we arrived at the school that Josuke goes to.

Ichigo asks "Can I check out what’s going on up there?"

Danyelle spoke "Since Cadence and I can't turn invisible, you have to Ichigo."

Ichigo spoke "Okay.

Ichigo turned invisible before flying up to when Koichi, Josuke and Okuyasu were talking.

*Ichigo's POV*

I listened in and watched silently.

Koichi spoke "*Blush* Hey, uh, Josuke, Okuyasu, don't freak, but Yukako and I kinda made out. So yeah.

Josuke was drinking a carton of milk through a straw before he stopped and leaned back, almost falling off as he yelled with arms flailing before Shining Diamond caught him, allowing the direwolf beastman to climb back onto the window ledge.

Josuke asks "Run that by me again? What'd she do to you? Are you gonna have to teach her another lesson?

Koichi spoke "Whoa, take it easy, you've got it all wrong. She didn't do anything. *Blushes more* If I'm being honest, I think I've fallen for Yukako."

Whoa! Seriously?!

Josuke: Wha-?!

Koichi: She's grown on me, and I get excited thinking about spending time with her. *As Josuke got back onto the window ledge, sitting criss-crossed* She makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Could this be love?

Josuke spoke "Yo, are you catching all of this, Okuyasu? This gushy stuff would shock the pants off a Stand. Those two playing tongue hockey? *As Okuyasu was comically whimpering with runny boogers and tear waterfalls before leaning on Josuke's arm while wiping tears away* Pull it together. It's weird, but it's nothing to cry about. Anyway, Koichi, I don't have the faintest clue as to what spawned this stunning change of heart, but hey, if you and Yukako are really into each other, then I wish you both the best of luck."

Koichi spoke "Thanks, but that's not the problem. I don't know what's going on with her, but she's refusing to see me."

Josuke and Okuyasu ask "Huh?"

Koichi asks "It's all so baffling. She's been absent from school for two days. She won't answer the phone or say a single word. She's off the grid, but how come?"

Okuyasu asks "Wow, so she want AWOL after you guys kissed?"

Josuke asks "And you haven't talked to her since?"

Koichi spoke "Not a word."

Okuyasu spoke "Uh-oh, the silent treatment's a real bad sign. It's a shame too. I admired her crazy devotion, but ghosting you like this is so uncool."

Josuke spoke "It's gonna be awkward as hell, but I think your best bet is asking Yukako about it face-to-face. I'm sorry, bud, but we shouldn't get involved in this."

Koichi spoke "Yeah."

Okuyasu spoke "But if things turn ugly, give us a holler and we'll rush over. We'll be there to help before you know it. *Pounds fists*"

Koichi spoke "Thanks, guys. I'll see you both later. *Leaves*"

Josuke spoke "See ya."

Okuyasu whines "*Tearfully* Ugh... But still... Damn that Koichi! Why does he get to kiss a girl?! *Starts crying again*"

Josuke spoke "Calm down, you're freaking out over nothing again.

Huh, that's weird. I flew back down to Winter and Lizzie while Danyelle and Cadence were still on the phone and told them what I heard.

Danyelle spoke "Sounds like a Stand user is the reason why Yukako is avoiding Koichi."

Winter spoke "I’ve been told about them, but don’t worry, Ichigo and I can handle searching around.

Danyelle spoke "About that Winter, you don't have the ability to see Stands."

“But there are Stands visible to non-Stand Users, like Yukako’s Love Deluxe, which is her hair.” I informed.

Danyelle spoke "Regardless Ichigo, we should be careful. I think this user might be an enemy."

Cadence spoke "I just hope you’ll be okay."

Winter spoke "Okay. Have fun at that hidden nation."

Danyelle spoke "I will."

Winter then ended the call.

I spoke "Danyelle has a point though, we oughta be careful."

Winter asks "So are you saying that we should intervene if necessary?"

I spoke "Better safe than sorry."

Winter asks "Is that a yes?"

“Yeah.” I answered.

Lizzie's stomach growls.

Winter spoke "I can handle that."

I spoke "Fair enough."

I started my shift of the search as Winter went off to find Lizzie more food before I soon saw a Flareon Poke-Mobian enter a beauty salon called “Cinderella” in absolute fury.

I turn myself invisible before following the fire type Poké-Mobian.

She the burst into a room, confronting a female blonde mouse Mobian in a pink dress before her hair grabbed the Mobian around her neck.

Yukako spoke "Why the hell would you do this to me, you conniving shrew?! *As parts around her eyes crumbled off, revealing another face behind a mask-shaped hole* My face is falling apart, and your stupid makeup just crack and flakes away!

Yukako then threw the mouse at a bed, greatly denting it.

Yukako growls "*Pants* Damn you. You’re a backstabbing bitch! Turn my face back to normal!

The Mouse spoke "*Sigh* Foolish girl. Seems you didn’t follow my instructions. *As the Flareon gasped in realization* It’s such a shame. I truly thought I’d impressed upon you the importance of applying the Cinderella lipstick every 30 minutes.

Yukako asks "So this is my punishment for forgetting? *Gasps at something* What is this? My hands, what the hell is wrong with them?

Yukako then shrieked as I saw the skin on her hands peeling away.

Yukako spoke "The skin on my hands is breaking down!

The Mouse spoke "Your palm lines and fingerprints are disappearing. That’s what happens when you don’t follow orders. That lipstick was an assurance of good fortune during your quest for love. Tremendous energy is required to change the course of one’s destiny, and it’s all used up. You’ve only yourself to blame for not taking your destiny seriously.

Yukako growls "Hey! Do you wanna die?!

The Mouse spoke "Die, you say? Ambition and wealth aren’t my only motivating factors, so save the intimidation. I modeled myself after the fairy godmother. She was a sorceress of the highest level and bringer of happiness. It really is a shame. It’s clear to me now that I never should have tried to make your wish come true. Your face and palms are long gone. They’ve been erased from this world.

Yukako asks "*Dread* What did you say?

Mouse: That they’re gone. And who has use for things with missing parts?

Yukako asks "My face, it’s gone forever? This isn’t fair. How am I supposed to live my life like this?

A male spoke "Yukako."

Yukako gasped at that as I saw Koichi come in, revealing himself.

Yukako spoke "No, I’m afraid not. Sorry, but you’ve got the wrong person."

The mouse asks "Hmm?"

Yukako spoke "Dr. Aya, your beauty institute is for women only, correct? I want him out of here now."

Koichi spoke "Nice try, but you can’t fool me. I’d know that tough-as-nails temperament anywhere. Now I know for sure you’re Yukako. *As Yukako gasped at that* Your personality leaves a real strong impression. And this lady, she’s a Stand User. Is that right? From what I’m gathering, she did something to you."

Yukako suddenly got more angry with her hair flaring. “Aya Tsuji, I’m gonna murder you!"

Aya spoke "*With a red-pink aura* Don’t give in to despair."

Yukako gasped as a Stand appeared behind Aya before it swiped its right hand, causing an eye mask to fly around the room.

Koichi spoke "What the hell?! Part of her face flew off and is flying around the room!"

Aya spoke "There we go. *Sits down* So this is Koichi. Hmm. He saw through your altered state and identified you as Yukako. You tried denying yourself in front of him, but some people just have an eye for character. All right, Yukako. Out of consideration for this young man’s efforts, I’ll give you one final chance as a fairy godmother."

Fairy mist filled the room as face eye masks surrounded Yukako.

Aya spoke "Select one of these faces. You have one chance, so choose wisely. Know that your original face is no more, but Cinderella remembers the face of each patient that has made use of its ability and can replicate them. Now pick your own face from among the samples. If you can find it, there’s a chance your original features could be restored. Your palms and fingerprints, too. Much like Cinderella and her famous glass slipper, I invite you to find your perfect fit."

Yukako asks "*Confidently* Why didn’t you say that earlier, Dr. Dumbass?! I’ll be out of here in no time flat! I look in the mirror every day, so how hard can this be?"

Aya spoke "Don’t get cocky. If you choose someone else’s face, it’ll clash with your own, as you might have imagined. Actually, why sugarcoat the truth? As an authority on all things beauty, I can say your face will become grotesque. No one will want to look at it. What’s more, the contours of your face will dictate your destiny."

Yukako panted, feeling the pressure getting to her.

Koichi spoke "Hey, Yukako, be extra careful. Remember, your face is reversed when you look in a mirror."

Yukako spoke "Yeah, you’re right."

Something tells me that this is a trick question, with none of the answers being right.

Yukako spoke "Damn it. The more I look at them, the more they look like my face. But this is the one. It has to be. No way I’d be able to forget my own face. *Grabs a face*"

Aya spoke "You sure about that? Once you try it on, you’ll know for sure."

Yukako was about to put the face on before she stopped. “No, I’m wrong. This isn’t the right face. I almost missed it, by my eyes have more of a slant than these do. *Gasp!* Which one is it? I have no idea! What if I make the wrong decision?!"

Yukako panted in panic before she stopped.

Aya spoke "What’s wrong? You have a face to choose, so get to picking."

Yukako spoke "No, I won’t. I refuse to choose.

Koichi asks "But why?"

Aya asks "So what are you saying? You want to life out your life without a face?"

Yukako spoke "I’m saying I want Koichi to choose. *As the three of us gasped at that* That way… it’ll be a face Koichi can love. I couldn’t care less what it looks like, and the amount of luck it has doesn’t matter a thing to me. I’ll bear with the outcome and live a life free of regret."

Koichi asks "But what if I get it wrong? What’ll you do?!"

Yukako spoke "I’ll deal with it. Please, Koichi, for me."

Koichi nodded as he looked before grabbing a face. “Here. This is it. I can’t tell you why I chose it. I guess it’s just intuition. *Faces Aya* But if I did mess up and choose the wrong face… *Summons Reverb Act 1* Oh, by the way, this guy’s my Stand, Reverb. Right, so, anyway, if I screw up, I want you to wound Reverb’s eyes and blind me for life. *As us three girls gasped in shock at that* I know you said you wouldn’t have any regrets, but knowing you like I do now, you’d secretly get really upset if I couldn’t see you just the way you’ve always been. And, though I couldn’t see it before, I’m in love with you. I couldn’t bear to see you unhappy. That’s why the best solution would be for me to never see again."

Aya gasped, truly moved by that.

Yukako spoke "Koichi."

Koichi spoke "Here, Yukako."

Yukako spoke "Right."

Koichi places the face in the mask-shaped hole on Yukako as a bright light covered the room before fading. Yukako then looked in the mirror as she was fully restored back to normal, face, fingerprints and palms.

Yukako spoke "Look! It’s a perfect fit!"

Koichi spoke "That’s amazing!"

Yukako spoke "*Laughs* Koichi!"

Koichi spoke "*Holds Yukako’s hands* Yeah, we did it, Yukako!"

Yukako spoke "It’s all ‘cause you were brave enough to choose my face."

I couldn’t help but give a silent sigh of relief that it all worked out in the end.

After dropping the invisibility, I spoke "Aya was it? We can't force couples to fall in love since life isn't a fairy tale. Real love takes time to develop. And here's a piece of advice for you. Instead of focusing on one's outer beauty, you can try bringing out the inner beauty."

Aya whispered to me, “To think he’d sooner blind himself than to witness his beloved suffer unhappiness. I figured, as fairy godmother, I’d bend the rules and give them a happy ending. After all, if I stole the eyesight of an innocent young man, what kind of fairy godmother would I be.”

I was again relieved, knowing that Aya had morals.

I spoke "I'm not going to answer that one but I have a question for you."

Aya asks "Hmm? And what’s that?"

I ask "Do you know anything about the jerk who had murdered Reimi?"

Aya spoke "I'm afraid no one knows. That mystery just faded away."

*Facepalm!* Shoulda known! "Why didn't I see that coming?"

Aya spoke "*Looks at Yukako* But Yukako, dear, young as you are, you have a keen eye for finding good men."

I spoke "The only clue I have is that it's a blonde haired male."

"Or was it black hair? Ugh! The memory's a blur!" I groaned before leaving. "Well, I hope Danyelle has fun with her friends in that hidden nation."
