Life as a Sonic OC Redux

*Nightmare Danyelle's POV*

Some time after the war against the Changeling timeline, Kuro had come up to me with a question.

I asks "What is it Kuro?"

Kuro spoke "I’ve been wondering about Flintfur. And where the girl in the cage came from."

I spoke "With Flintfur, he's gone back to his timeline to straighten things back out and as for Frisk... She hasn't been herself lately... And I fear that no amount of wishing can bring Asriel and the others back once they've been turned to dust..."

*Flashback*

*Still Nightmare Danyelle's POV*

I was panting from exhaustion since I was injured.

I growl "Damn you Chara!"

Chara was about to attack again when I heard a gunshot, seeing his shoulder becoming grazed a bit. I looked behind me, seeing Jazz panting heavily while wielding a six-barreled pistol.

Jazz spoke "You get away from my aunt, you monster!"

I suddenly saw the spirit of a young female coyote mobian about Jazz's age, having short brown fur with a bit of a ponytail, wearing a brown long-sleeved t-shirt beneath a dark brown vest and dark blue pants, presumable denim. The spirit also had a pair of brown shoes and a light brown cowboy hat with a dar brown hatband. Around the spirit's neck sported a yellow bandana with a blue dot pattern. I then noticed Jazz's eyes being yellow, the same yellow eyes the spirit had.

Jazz spoke "You heard me!"

"Jazz! Get out of here!" I shouted as Chara darkly smiled and charged at Jazz, ready to strike, only to freeze, making him frown.

Chara spoke "Frisk. You can't stop me. One way or another, she will die. So if you won't do it, I will."

Chara then slashed as I covered my eyes, fearing the worst, before I soon opened them, seeing Jazz unharmed with a female bunny mobian about Chara's age having took the hit for her, protecting Jazz while gaining a diagonal cut across her blue sweater with purple stripes as I noticed Chara suddenly looking weary.

Jazz asks "A-Am I seeing things? There's two of you?"

Chara spoke "It's just me, Frisk."

Frisk was suddenly healed as she seemed hopeful before attacking Chara, only to do damage to herself as well.

Chara: What is your plan Frisk?"

Chara then slashed at Frisk as she dodged, before she attacked again, weakening both her and Chara further.

Chara asks "You know we are one and the same, right?"

Chara then attacked with flames from a pan as Frisk dodged and healed herself once more, unfortunately healing Chara as well before she attacked him.

Chara spoke "If you kill me, we'll both die."

Chara then started throwing punches as Frisk dodged before attacking Chara once more.

Chara spoke "And then we'll both come back."

Chara started throwing dark starry energy as Frisk dodged and healed herself before attacking Chara again.

Chara spoke "I have complete control over you."

Chara used area slashes as Frisk dodged them since they were aimed at her before attacking Chara once more. Frisk then brought out some kind of starry device.

Chara spoke "What do you plan to do with th-"

Frisk clutched the device, causing Chara to vanish before he suddenly reappeared.

Chara spoke "That's adorable. But you'll never get rid of me, Frisk. *Scary face* YOU DON'T HAVE ENOUGH DETERMINATION."

But then Jazz approached Frisk. "I don't know what's really going on here, but... That guy's responsible? I thought something was off. Still, doesn't look like you can do this alone. Aunt, if you please...?"

"R-Right." I nodded, caught off guard as Jazz and I grabbed the device.

Jazz spoke "After all, you're the Nekomata of Redemption. Let's give Frisk a chance at that. And start it by fixing all of this and combining our power."

Chara spoke "Just try to stop me."

The device started glowing red and yellow as Chara started flashing in and out of this plane of existence, becoming more angry as Frisk looked like she was getting weaker and weaker.

Chara spoke "NO!!! I WON'T LET YOU TAKE ME AWAY FROM MY BEST FRIEND!!!"

But then a flash occurred before it faded, revealing Chara to be gone completely as Frisk fell onto her back in exhaustion. I was surprised by what she pulled off, bringing out the Blue Aqua I had on me before using it on her, healing Frisk completely as she started shedding sad tears silently.

I pull Frisk in for a hug.

"It's okay." I assured before Jazz and I sensed something and turned around, seeing a tall and thin Amalgamate waving at us. "That's right, we gotta do something about the Amalgamates since they can't be fully killed with them getting stronger from each attack landed on them."

I suddenly sensed that Chara was trying to make a comeback by possessing one of my unborn children.

But then I felt the Tantabus protecting my unborn children without fail.

Despite being nothing more than a spirit, Chara growls "Damn you! I'M NEVER GOING TO LET YOU LIVE!!!"

A white furred hand grabs Chara's shoulder, stopping him.

Since he was also a spirit, Asriel spoke "That is enough Chara, it's over."

Chara gasps "A-Asriel…?!"

Asriel spoke "Come on, the others are waiting for us."

Chara spoke "B-But… After all I did… I can’t…"

Asriel spoke "I can never stay mad at you. You're not just my best friend, you're also my brother."

Asriel hugged Chara, making him freeze before his emotional dam broke, leading him to cry uncontrolled tears as he hugged back and apologized nonstop.

I spoke "I'm glad I put a call through to High Goddess Faust about this."

Asriel spoke "Come on Chara, mom made another pie."

Chara spoke "O-Okay."

I then noticed some of Chara’s hair in my hand as I turned my attention back to the amalgamate.

I spoke "I don't think my magic can fix that."

But then Chaos Restoration crossed my mind.

Twilight spoke "Uh Danyelle, you forgot that you would have to speak to High Goddess Faust first."

“I know, but we gotta help the amalgamates get back to normal.” I noted.

Asriel and Chara leave my group as they return to heaven.

Shadow scoffs "Are you that dense Danyelle? There's nothing we can do to save the monsters. Once they turn to dust, not even the dragon balls can bring them back!"

"That's the thing, Shadow. The amalgamates can't be fully killed because of what transformed them." I explained.

Twilight spoke "And besides Danyelle, you are already on thin ice because you tampered with the laws of nature. High Goddess Faust is also pissed off at you."

"Ya think I don't know that?" I deadpanned.

Twilight spoke "Not to mention... You're also forbidden to use Soul Rebirth."

"At least without her permission." I pointed out as I started using Chaos Restoration on the tall amalgamate. Soon, the amalgamate was transformed into a young kitsune girl monster, about Asriel's age.

*End Flashback*

*Still Nightmare Danyelle's POV*

"Which is why I'll be asking when I'm mentally ready." I finished.

Kuro spoke "But mom, remember what Twilight said? If High Goddess Faust catches you in the act of using Soul Rebirth without permission, she will strip your immortality away."

"That's exactly why I'm going to ask." I pointed out. "Sometimes when it comes to second chances, I can't help myself."

Ben chuckles "You're just like Charlie."

I sighed happily while laying my head on my husband's shoulder. "Guess there's no point in denying that, huh?"

Ben spoke "Even if High Goddess Faust says no, there's not much you can do about it."

"Still, we're gonna have to wait for now." I said.

Ben places a hand on my stomach.

Ben spoke "All of us will."

I placed a hand on his as I lovingly looked into Ben's eyes, with him doing the same into mine. "*Giggle* You're such a flirt, Benny-Boo."

Ben chuckles "I try, Dany-Dearest."

Kuro whines "*Embarrassed blush* Mom, can you and stepdad not right now?"

I giggle "What's the matter kitten? Too chicken to admit you have a crush on Jazz?"

Kuro spoke "Q-Quit it!"

I thought back to when Flintfur headed back home as Jazz and he gave each other a hug, vowing to each other to always be friends and never forget one another. They parted with a smile, as that memory never fails to help bring humbled and happy tears to my eyes.

Jazz was looking at the night sky since she was thinking about Flintfur.

I punted Kuro over to Jazz, who didn't notice him quite yet.

Jazz sighs "Flintfur... I miss you so much..."

I saw Kuro's expression, seeing that it hurt him to see Jazz sad like that.

I giggle "About that Jazz, Flintfur's right behind you."

Jazz asks "...Huh?"

Kuro spoke "Uh... hi..."

Jazz gasps "...*Shock* Whaaaaaaaat?! F-Flinty? Is that you?"

Playing along with the act, Kuro spoke "It's me all right."

Jazz was shocked before she tackled Kuro with a hug, sobbing happy tears.

Since Kuro didn't have his collar on, he was tackled by Jazz.

Kuro spoke "I'm not leaving you behind again."

I just hope there's a EC Jazz waiting for Flintfur/EC Kuro.

Soon enough, the Crusaders come looking for Flintfur.

Scootaloo spoke "Wonder what that black cat is."

Lance spoke "I think he's being cuddled by my sister."

Applebloom asks "*Smirks at Lance* Really now?"

Lance notices the red collar that was on my wrist before looking at Kuro.

Lance spoke "That cat isn't the same Flintfur!"

Lance was about to charge before Applebloom stopped him. "Hold yer horses there, Lance. That could be the Flintfur of our timeline."

Lance growls "Get real Applebloom, our timeline's Flintfur is dead!"

"Oh? Then why don't you ask me about it?" I asked, having gotten behind the CMCs before they could even notice.

Volt stammers "N-N-N-NIGHTMARE!!!!"

Volt ran off screaming as the other Crusaders follow.

I couldn't help but facepalm. "Geez... How gullible can those kids be?"

Ben spoke "Can you blame them? You do look like Nightmare Moon right now."

“True.” I shrugged.

I suddenly feel sick.

Ben asks "You okay?"

“I’m good.” I responded as Ben gave me a puke bag.

Ben spoke "Give it a few months, it'll pass."

I threw up into the bag. “Right.”

Ben massages my back, causing me to purr.

Ben then nuzzled one of my cheeks with one of his, purring as well.

Frisk kept to herself.

I noticed Frisk. She’s still hung on what she did.

I think "{I might have to talk to Sally about Frisk's family...}"

But then my Dimensional Scream went off, showing me a lovely spring field, before everything started becoming frozen in ice. Then all frozen left standing then crumbled, warning me of a future invader of a cold nature.

I think "{Subzero... I better warn Liu Kang.}"

I decide to contact Liu Kang via telepathy to tell him of what I just saw.

I spoke "{Hey Liu, I just got another vision!}"

Liu Kang asks "{Is it of an alternate timeline?}"

I ask "{Does the name Subzero ring any bells?}"

Liu Kang spoke "{Yes, in previous timelines, Bi-Han of the Lin Kuei bore the title of Sub-Zero, but after his death, it was passed onto his younger brother, Kuai Liang.}"

Wait, Bi-Han?! “{So you’re saying that our timeline’s Bi-Han is Sub-Zero?!}" I gasp.

Liu Kang spoke "{Indeed, though it saddens me how his frustrations corrupted him and the Lin Kuei.}"

I ask "{Is there any way to stop him?}"

Liu Kang spoke "{I’m afraid we’ll have to find that answer when he invades.}"

I spoke "{It'll be some time before he attacks. It'll give me time to alert the OC-verse, Warrior-verse, MegaMewverse and Heartsverse since I won't be able to fight by then.}"

Liu Kang: {Very well, but be cautious, and do not overwork yourself.}

I spoke "{My firstborn son has the same powers I have so if I'm unable to fight, he can fight in my place.}"

Liu Kang spoke "{I understand.}"

I’m just glad we managed to restore the amalgamates back to normal.
