Life as a Sonic OC Redux

*Ichigo’s POV*

Surprisingly, Josuke and I were at the hospital paying a visit to a familiar Frosmoth as we explained what happened.

Josuke spoke "That’s the long and the short of it. We wanna know if you’re willing to get off your ass and help us find Koichi with your scent-tracking ability, Yuya Fungami."

“Listen, if you agree to help us, Josuke will fully heal you. I mean, it’s a good and honest offer, right?” I added as Yuya growled.

Yuya asks "I’ll say it once, understand? Don’t you mess with me, Josuke and Ichigo! I don’t play around, and I won’t you, Josuke, for attacking me like a savage and landing back in this bed! What makes you two think I, Yuya Fungami, would sacrifice my pride to help you?!"

Eh, didn’t surprise me.

Josuke spoke So you’re turning us down, huh? We kinda figured this would be a long shot. *As he and I started to leave* Welp, see ya. We’re short on time."

Yuya spoke "Wait! Where’re you two-Don’t tell me you’re gonna leave just like that! Hey! Would you both wait a sec?! You haven’t even given me the chance to bargain! Okay, fine, have it your way! *As the two of us turned around* I’ll help you lovebirds find your little friend. It’s not like I actually have a choice in the matter. I guess I could hold out for a better bargain, but then I’d just be stuck in this dump even longer. I can’t give my girls the kind of attention they deserve while I’m like this, and for all I know, they could be on their way out of my life forever. This is so horrible, you know? And besides, the accident that got me into this whole mess is my own doing. I’ve got nothing against either of you. So Josuke, can you hurry up and get to the healing already? These injuries are driving me insane!"

You are good at this game, Josuke.

Josuke spoke "Quit your complaining, Shining Diamond already reversed your injuries."

Yuya got up then took his casts and wrappings, revealing himself to be of average height and slim to fit build, having a short undercut and his chin being tattooed with a stylized "H☆S" as he looked at himself in the mirror. “Mmm… There’s that gorgeous face.” Yuya smiled before putting on a dark, modified school uniform with its torso having a pattern on the front and back, two golden pins on each collar, a belt over the torso with two gold buckles on the both sides, also wearing a long, bouffant, light bow tie with the words "Highway" and "Speed King". “I’m a stunningly beautiful creature, aren’t I? At the very least, it’s like I’m one of Michelangelo’s sculptures come to life. But now that I’m getting a better look, I think my eyes are slightly droopier. Your Stand CAN actually fix things 100%, right?”

Sheesh, talk about self-centered.

Josuke growls "Count your blessings, douche! Now stop preening in the mirror and tell us how well your sense of smell works!"

Yuya spoke "Well let’s see, I can’t promise I’d be as good as a trained hunting dog or anything, but… *Sniff! Sniff sniff!* Hmm… For example, I can tell that there are three girls walking up the hall right now, all Poke-Mobians. It smells like Reiko the Lokix, Akemi the Volcarona and Yoshie the Galvantula. They’re my fangirls, remember? Based on their scent, they’re coming back from the pachinko place."

I bared fiery fangs at Yuya while growling.

Lokix Reiko asks "*Arrives* Yu-babe, what's up?"

Akemi and Yoshie arrived too before the three saw Yuya with a gasp.

Akemi spoke "Yu-baby! You're out of that icky hospital bed!"

Yuya spoke "Yo."

Yoshie spoke "*As she and the other two female bug-types hugged Yuya* Yu-baby, you're back!"

The Bug Trio spoke "Yu, sweetie!"

Yuya spoke "There there, everything's fine, vixens."

Josuke and I growled a bit before the three girls noticed us, ready to fight.

Lokix Reiko asks "You're Josuke and Ichigo, aren't you?!"

Akemi asks "Why the hell are you both here?! Wanna get skewered right here and now?"

Yuya asks "Easy, girls. I hold no ill will toward either of them. More importantly, you gals just got back from pachinko, yeah?"

The Bug Trio ask "Huh?"

Lokix Reiko asks "How in the world did you know?"

Yuya asks "Because all of your skirts reek of ass sweat. Why else would you be planting those supple cheeks on vinyl chairs for so long? Say, Akemi, you any chocolate? You wanted pachinko, didn't you?"

Akemi spoke "*As she, Lokix Reiko and Yoshie blushed while smiling* Yeah, I did! You're amazing, Yu! *Brings out two small boxes of chocolate* Here, we brought you a souvenir."

Yuya spoke "Now do you see, Josuke and Ichigo? *Hugs the bug trio as they giggled* I am who I am thanks to these lovely dames in my arms. Thanks to you, Josuke, I can hold them again, so I'll help you and Ichigo.

Josuke spoke "You said you weren't as good as a hunting dog, but as far as I'm concerned, you're even better.

I laugh "Better not let Shirou or DuBois hear you say that Josuke."

Josuke spoke "Hehe, good point."

Soon, Josuke and I headed out with Yuya to a location outside in Morioh.

Josuke spoke "Right, this is the place. We found Koichi's bag lying right here in the open with no explanation or any blood. His house is only about two minutes up the road there. How did this new Stand User storm Koichi and snatch him away from a busy street first thing in the morning? Somebody should have seen him."

Yuya spoke "Hmm... *Sniff! Sniff sniff sniff! Sniff!* Hmm... *Reaches down to Koichi's bag* Josuke, Ichigo, our little deal doesn't include me fighting, does it? Because when I agreed to come here, I was told that I'd only be used for tracking."

Josuke asks "Hmm?"

"Huh?" I asked in confusion.

Yuya spoke "I won't feel comfortable proceeding until you tell me I won't be fighting anyone."

Josuke asks "Why bring something like that up at a time like this?"

I was confused too.

I spoke "I can't fight either.... Not without throwing up."

Yuya spoke "The reason I bring this up is somebody's been tailing you, Josuke."

Josuke asks "What?"

Yuya spoke "It's that man over there."

Josuke and I looked behind us, seeing a male crane mobian with light eyes, and light hair that is styled in a criss-cross pattern, framing his face and curling upwards at its ends as he wore a long, light coat closed to the end of his chest with underneath it being a dark top wrapped in three ornate belts and fitted dark pants while the inside of his coat had the word "ENIGMA" printed at its bottom.

Yuya spoke "And that's not all, I smell Koichi's scent on that man. Of course, he must have something on him that belongs to Koichi!

Josuke spoke "Are you serious? That's the guy we're looking for?! *As the crane started walking away* Hey, you! Come back here! Tell me what you did with Koichi, you kidnapping bastard!"

Josuke grabbed the crane's left shoulder, when all of a sudden, Josuke had grabbed his mother's left shoulder instead with her in the crane's place, much to our shock and confusion.

Josuke spoke "Mom?! *Catches Tomoko* What the hell?! It's definitely mom. She's out cold, but she's alive."

What just happen?! I couldn't even see what occurred!

Josuke spoke "If he had just come out and hit me, I would've been fine with knocking him out, grabbing Koichi and calling it a day. But that bastard went after my mom! Scum like him needs to be punished! This scheming scumbag is goin' down! Hey Yuya, where's that piece of shit hiding?! I'll make him pay for what he's done!"

Yuya spoke "How the hell would I know? You were touching the guy and managed to lose him. Wait a sec, he's still here, Josuke! I'm still picking up a trace of his scent nearby!"

Something was telling me that we were being observed, like our enemy was trying to find out how would one of us react.

Josuke asks "Yuya! For the last time, where is that scent coming from?! Hey Yuya, you haven't taken your eyes of my mom, right? The User, is it possible he's inside her jacket? I don't care what kind of Stand it is, I need to know what's inside this pocket! Yuya, answer me! Is he here or not?!"

Yuya spoke "We've been over this, Josuke. I never promised to help you or Ichigo fight any enemies. We only agreed that I'd track him. Any more and I'd be risking my life! Besides, I only said I'd help because you healed me, there's no way in Hell I'm going down as that dumbass who walked right into harm's way! Sorry to disappoint you, but this guy freaks me out!"

Josuke gasps |*Summons Shining Diamond as its right arm reached into the pocket* Then I'll check for myself! *Searches pockets* Nothing. Both pockets are empty, *Brings out paper before placing Tomoko onto a bench* other than this piece of paper. *Opens folded paper, revealing... nothing* Huh? This is just a blank sheet of paper. *Looks around the paper before a gun mouth poked out, aiming at him* WHAT?!"

*BANG!* The gun fired once at Josuke, knocking him down, but my secret husband managed to use Shining Diamond to catch the bullet at point-blank range, saving his own life.

Josuke spoke "Damn, you asshole...!"

We saw a hand holding the gun poking out of that piece of paper as we heard a chuckle. "Shining Diamond, eh? Well, I guess the rumors were true. You can indeed handle a bullet at point-blank range without an issue. *Throws gun at Josuke as he dodged it* This is freaky, isn't it? Now chomp down on that lip, Josuke. He's almost there. Bite it! Show me that bite! Show me your mark of fear!"

Josuke spoke "That sheet of paper must be a Stand! It has to be since it's as pathetic as that geezer in the photo!"

The paper flew behind a lamppost before the crane came out the other side.

Josuke spoke "You cocky bastard... You're dead!"

I have a bad feeling about him! "Mark of fear?"

The crane spoke "You know, you were right a moment ago when you said I had a pathetic Stand. But it's not all bad I guess, its ability allows me to transform almost anything into a piece of paper, *Brings out a folded piece of paper* to be filed discreetly and conveniently. *Chuckles while rips the paper halfway, making a shattered bowl of udon to fall out of it, much to our horror at the realization before he held another piece of folded paper* And this slip of paper contains Koichi Hirose."

Josuke spoke "Bastard! So you've had Koichi this entire time!"

The crane spoke "Rest assured, he's alive. I'm the User of a pathetic third-rate Stand, right? It doesn't have the power or ability to kill. Howver, if someone were to tear it into little pieces, that's a different story."

Josuke spoke "I'm gonna let you off easy. Bring Koichi back now, and I'll only beat you down to a bloody pulp!"

The crane spoke "Go ahead and take him. I'd like to see you try."

The crane gained a red-orange aura as Shining Diamond appeared and threw a punch, only for the crane to vanish in a folded piece of paper and dodge as the paper flew around and threw Koichi's paper at a car, heading right for the spinning tire.

Josuke spoke "Koichi! Gah!"

That paper labelled Koichi Hirose has to be a fake! A trap! But then Josuke bit his lower lip.

The crane spoke "Ah, at long last! You bit it!"

The paper opened as a Stand came out.

The crane spoke "Misterioso was waiting for this moment, Josuke Higashikata! The moment you bit your lip, you sealed your fate."

Josuke roared as he summoned Shining Diamond as the Stand threw a barrage of punches at the Stand, only for it to counter, nullifying the attack before it chopped Shining Diamond's neck while forcing him and Josuke into an open piece of paper with them sinking like quicksand.

Josuke spoke "You devious dickhead!"

The crane spoke "You just revealed your mark of fear! *Emerges his upper half from the flying paper* You can attempt to resist all you like, you are now powerless before Misterioso."

Shining Diamond grabbed a streetlight post, but it broke due to him and Josuke being pulled in as they sank into the paper as it floated down to the ground.

The crane asks "Now that you've fallen prey to its power, do you understand why Misterioso's the most unstoppable force ever seen? Huh? *As Josuke and Shining Diamond poked out of the paper with the the streetlight post* What? How the hell did you get out?"

Yuya spoke "His Stand is repairing the metal pole and he's using the energy to escape!"

Josuke spoke "The piece of paper you're holding, if I looked inside, I'm guessing I would find Koichi. I knew from the start that was just a dirty decoy with Koichi Hirose written on it. The only reason you had the confidence to reveal your true self to me was because you still have the real Koichi held hostage. Keeping him alive is the only way for you to maintain your leverage. I knew that piece of paper was just a trap to lure me into danger. Looks like I was right. But even so, I still had no other choice but to go after that stupid scrap of paper! Despite it being a trap, there was still a chance you'd have thrown the real Koichi toward that car! And when it comes to my friends and family, I don't care if it's a one percent chance! Losing them is a risk I'm just not willing to take. Misterioso can have the win for now. It sucks, but there's not much more Shining Diamond can do at this point. That said, let me give you a piece of advice before I become one of your paper prisoners. Rip me to oblivion the moment I finish folding. 'Cause if I'm able to make it out of this bullshit trap alive, I'll freakin' kill you!

Shining Diamond threw the pole past the crane as he and Josuke sunk completely into the paper as the pole flew back and repaired itself.

The crane spoke "*Chuckle* That's a pretty loud bark you had there. *Picks up paper* It's too bad you didn't have the bite to match."

The crane noticed the decoy paper before stomping and scrunching it, revealing the insides to be a can of milk.

The crane spoke "Yuya Fungami and Ichigo. Allow me to commend you. Not assisting Josuke was a very wise move. I could have easily disposed of you both had you tried. Yuya Fungami, your mark of fear is a stroke of the chin, in fact, you're doing it right now! As well as you Ichigo, as you're doing your mark of frea, which is you scratching your head, especially your ears. But the old man in the photo never ordered me to kill either of you, so I supposed your deaths have been postponed for the time being. *Places a folded paper on the ground* Smart move, my friends."

The paper unfolded itself before opening, revealing a taxi as it came out.

The crane spoke "Want to hear something interesting? This paper, *Opens car door* it's tough, but anyone can release its contents by unfolding it. Straightforward, yes, but for someone consumed with fear, it's surprisingly difficult."

The crane went into the taxi before the door closed as the vehicle drove off. I was very worried, but then I saw Yuya summon Highway Gogo as it split up and went after the taxi.

Yuya spoke "Damn it, Josuke! You're such a pompous asshole! Seeing you get captured makes me think about my darling girls. I can't believe I'm saying this, but if any one of my loving supportive vixens was ever turned into a piece of paper, I'd... I don't even wanna think about it, but if they were nabbed by this creep, I'd do the same thing to get them back!"

"Let's move then!" I urged.

Yuya spoke "63, 64, and 65... It's not a tank, but Highway Gogo is a relentless hunter. If you think you're getting away, you're wrong!"

We gave chase after the taxi before it suddenly stopped.

Yuya spoke "It stopped, but why? We're not at the hotel yet, and it doesn't look like anyone's in the taxi."

My magic flares up suddenly, causing both Josuke and Koichi to appear beside me.

I yowl loud in anger.

I yowl "HOW DARE YOU MESS WITH MY FRIENDS LIKE THAT YOU FUCKER!? I'M GOING TO ENJOY RIPPING YOU APART ONCE I GET MY CLAWS ON YOUR DAMN NECK!!!!"

Josuke spoke "Thanks, Ichi. And Yuya Fungami… Well, damn, after that… I gotta say you’re a cooler dude than I took you for.

A paper flew by before the crane was revealed, starting to sweat. “It seems you have forced my hand. *Brings out a folded piece of paper* I really didn’t want open this one and just wanted to rip it apart, because he had even me scared, especially since he was a hard one to reveal his mark of fear."

But then the paper suddenly shot to the ground, making the crane, Terunosuke Miyamoto, bend to his knees with Reverb Act 3 floating behind him, revealing that the paper was actually weighed down thanks to the Stand.

Reverb Act 3 spoke "Act 3! Three Freeze!"

The paper was weighed down more as Josuke approached Terunosuke.

Terunosuke spoke "This… pressure…!"

Josuke spoke "I’m trying to remember what I said earlier. I know I’m forgetting something, but I don’t know what it is. Oh yeah, it’s coming back. I think I said I’d kill you when I get out of there. Yep, that is definitely what I said."

Huh, Terunosuke shuddered with his right eye closed. Guess he’s getting a taste of his own medicine.

Josuke spoke "Oh yeah, I think I also said something about never forgiving someone as vile as you. Someone who takes hostages, someone who uses psychological blackmail to screw with someone…"

Terunosuke spoke "*Gets back a bit* Let’s take a beat! All I wanted to do was observe people’s reaction to fear stimuli, I swear! I just acquired my Stand a bit ago, so I guess I got carried away. I’m so sorry for my actions. I feel like an absolute heel!"

Josuke spoke "You know what, Ichigo and I’ve actually noticed something about you. When you get scared, we’re pretty sure one of your eyes squints involuntarily. I guess you could say it’s a habit. *Summons Shining Diamond with me summoning Bast* But when you’re really losing your shit, you close both your eyes."

As Josuke said, Terunosuke got terrified as he closed both eyes before Shining Diamond, Bast, Sekmet and I delivered a flurry off attacks with him screaming.

Josuke asks "So you like observing people, huh? Then please, knock yourself out. But you’re gonna keep your mouth shut and behave yourself, understand!?"

After our flurry of attacks, thanks to Shining Diamond, Terunosuke Miyamoto, was transformed into a book as it opened to the center, showing his eyes, eyebrows, nose and mouth with his beak.

Terunosuke spoke "I-I’m a book!"

Picking the book up with my magic, I spoke "I'll be sending this book to Twilight so that the guy can be monitored."

Josuke spoke "Would’ve thought of sending the guy to the Morioh Library, but oh well."

Koichi spoke "Anyway, thanks for helping me out everyone. I was on my way to check on Rohan-Sensei to see if he made any progress."

I spoke "I've never had a magic surge like that before."

Josuke spoke "Well, even if you hadn’t, I have a feeling you and Yuya would’ve saved me and Koichi in the end."

“Oh, come on, Jojo. You give me too much credit.” I shyly responded with a blush.

Josuke asks "Welp, that’s taken care of. So why do I feel like I’ve spoken too soon?"

Koichi spoke "At the very least, this means we’ve gotten one step closer to catching Yoshikage Kira."

Josuke spoke "Maybe, but we still don’t have a single clue."

I ask "Remember what Danyelle mentioned?"

Josuke spoke "I know, but you to admit it’s still hard to swallow."

“True, I mean she did admit she sometimes find her visions hard to believe at times.” I noted before my phone went off.

I ask "Ichigo here, who is this?"

The voice spoke "*On the phone* It’s Rohan Kishibe."

“Rohan?” I noticed.

Rohan asks "Is Koichi with you?"

“Um, yes.” I answered, confused.

Rohan spoke "I need you both to come to my home now. There’s something important I have to tell you."

I spoke "The two of us and Josuke will be there right away!"

After sending the book to Twilight with magic and sending Tomoko back to her house with a teleportation spell, I use a warp ring to get myself and the two males straight to Rohan's house.

I spoke "We're here Rohan."

Rohan spoke "It’s open, come in."

We opened the door and went inside.

Koichi asks "Rohan-Sensei? Where are you?"

For some reason, we didn’t see Rohan.

Rohan spoke "Over here."

We looked right, seeing Rohan sitting against the wall corner, not showing his back with hands covering his ears.

Koichi spoke "Rohan-Sensei. Why are you on the corner? When you asked us over, you didn’t say you were in panic mode."

Rohan spoke "Please, Koichi, I need your and Ichigo’s help. I’m in the grasp of an enemy Stand."

An enemy Stand?!

Koichi asks "What?! A Stand’s in here?! Where is it? What’s it do?"

Rohan spoke "*Stands up with his back against the wall* It’s over here, damn thing adhered itself to my back."

“Huh?” Josuke and I asked in confusion.

Koichi asks "It did what? *As Rohan sidestepped against the walls* So you’re saying there’s a Stand attached to your back?"

Rohan spoke "That’s right, it’s a very serious dilemma. And I don’t know what to do."

Koichi asks "Can we see what we’re dealing with?"

Rohan spoke "No way."

Koichi spoke "But if you don’t show it to me, how’re we supposed to-"

Rohan spoke "If I expose my back, it’ll kill me and take hold of one of you. Hear that? Even as we speak, it’s whispering in my ear."

Koichi asks "Huh? *As Rohan started moving against the walls again* You’re not making sense. Wait, this is all some big joke at my expense, isn’t it?"

Rohan spoke "How could you say that? I just told you if I expose my back, I’m done for."

Koichi asks "Oh, I heard you, but how do I know you’re not pulling my leg like you always do? *As Rohan gasped* Hit the nail on the head, didn’t I?"

Rohan spoke "No, I’m being completely serious! There’s a dead body upstairs."

“What did you say?!” I gasped.

Josuke asks "Huh?"

Koichi asks "What?! A real dead body?"

Soon, Koichi, Josuke and I were ready to go up the stairs, but…

Koichi asks "So, uh… What are you doing, Rohan-sensei?"

Rohan was upside down, going up the stairs on all fours belly-up, still not showing his back. “Don’t worry about that, just go on past me. Please, you have to see the body. Get going.”

We soon reached the top of the stairs as Rohan still hid his back against the wall.

Koichi asks "Can you tell us what all this is about? *Gasp*"

Rohan spoke "Told you. I’m telling the truth. *Gasp*"

But we only saw a hole in the floor.

Rohan spoke "*Moving with back against the floor, then against the wall* It’s gone? How did it just disappear? Look everyone, here there? *Gasps as he brought out a small odd male crane Hawk Mobian-like thing with orange hair-like feathers on the head, but it looked like a dry darkened husk.* You see? The man, this is Masazo Kinoto! After he died, he turned into a lifeless husk!"

Koichi spoke "Wow, that’s some really impressive work. Nice job. *As Rohan gasped* But this isn’t the time to be messing around, I know you know that. While I’m with you, those Stand Users the old man in the photo made are trying to hunt us down! The only reason we rushed all the way over here was because Ichigo and I were worried something happened to you."

Rohan spoke "Why won’t you-Wait, the Stand.

Koichi spoke "*As he and Josuke started leaving with me reluctantly following* Anyway, just be careful. *As Rohan gasped* Bye."

Rohan spoke "Wait, Koichi! Don’t leave! I asked you and Ichigo to come here because I knew those pieces of shit Josuke and Okuyasu would just laugh at my predicament! You have to trust me! I thought we were friends! *As we left out the door* Koichi! Ichigo!"

We then exited the house before I stopped Koichi and Josuke. “We have to follow Rohan.”

Koichi asks "Huh?"

Josuke spoke "Whaddya mean? He was right about me and Okuyasu finding it funny."

“I seriously think something’s wrong.” I urged before I started hiding myself with Josuke and Koichi before we saw Rohan creak open the door and snuck out, then soon hid behind a tree.

Rohan spoke "*Talking to something* To the Morioh Grand Hotel, I have no other choice."

We secretly follow Rohan as we saw him still walking against walls before reaching an intersection.

“You really think so? Masazo Kinoto made it to my house, didn’t he? He’d have to have crossed an intersection to do so. I’m sure I can pull it off too, I just need to know how he did it.” Rohan said before someone passed by him. “Ah-ha! Like this.” Rohan noticed as he started crossing the street with his back against someone else’s. “This certainly isn’t my most shining moment, but it’ll get me across.” Rohan added in relief before the man behind him suddenly got angry.

A man spoke "What did you just say? *After a few seconds* You’re pushing it."

Rohan spoke "The only one who’s missing something here, Cheap Trap, is you. I have something Masazo didn’t, my Stand, Heaven’s Door."

Heaven’s Door opened part of the man’s face and wrote in that he couldn’t turn back for one minute.

Rohan spoke "I suggest you prepare yourself."

The man asks "Say what? What’s going on here?"

Rohan spoke "You sure talk a good game, but that’s all you’re good at, isn’t it? You won’t be saying anything soon.

The man asks "Who… *Soon turns around* Who the hell do you think you’re talking to, bitch?! *Sees Rohan gone* What? Huh?"

The three of kept following Rohan with him walking with his back against the wall.

Rohan spoke "It seems there won’t be any major intersections for a while. *Keeps moving as we noticed a dog* Yes, it works on any intelligent animal. *Gasps as we saw a cat* That’s right, I’ll have to be just as careful around them. God, I hate these creatures. Their glare is infuriating. Alright, cat, beat it!"

Rohan was about to swat the cat away before he stopped as we saw a whole bunch of cats and dogs in the area while Wastelands Firestar flew onto my shoulder.

Rohan spoke "How in the?! They’re swarming!"

Firestar spoke "Meow. Meow. Meow! {Mistress, I’m hearing a voice from behind Rohan, I can tell it isn’t him ‘cause it doesn’t sound like him. And that voice is lying about Rohan love killing cats and dogs. That voice is provoking them!}"

A cat scratched Rohan on the left cheek as he yelled, seeing more cats and dogs coming at him.

Rohan spoke "Heaven’s Door!"

Heaven’s Door appeared, temporarily immobilizing a dog and a cat while opening parts of them up like pages, but more kept coming.

Rohan spoke "It’s no use! There are too many of them!"

Koichi and I decided to stop them.

Reverb Act 3 spoke "Three Freeze."

A dog was weighed down as Firestar and I leapt in front of a cat and hissed.

Reverb Act 3 spoke "These animals didn’t do anything wrong. Time to get lost, all of you. Shoo."

Cinderpelt arrives via warp ring before growling in a leader-esque tone at the other cats, making them all submit.

The dogs and cats then ran.

Rohan spoke "That Stand belongs to... Koichi!"

Koichi spoke "I thought you were fooling me like always, but Ichigo had a suspicion something was wrong. Not to mention I had this nagging feeling, so we started hiding and found you acting just as weird. Even when you got outside, you were still skulking around the sidewalk with your back against the wall. Then there's how you crossed the road. You were telling the truth about the Stand stuck to your back."

Rohan spoke "*Smile* This is why I admire you... You're the real deal, Koichi. A true blue friend to the end."

Koichi asks "It's on your back, so all we have to do is remove that parasite and we're good to go, right?"

Reverb Act 3 spoke "Reverb, Special Ability! Three Freeze!"

Reverb Act 3 started attacking behind Rohan's back as he smiled.

Rohan spoke "You did it."

But to our horror as we gasped, Rohan started bleeding from his back as his feet crushed the ground beneath him a bit, weighed down by Three Freeze.

"That can't be good!" I dreaded.

Josuke asks "What in the?!

Koichi asks "Rohan-Sensei?"

Rohan spoke "I'm grateful to you and Ichigo, Koichi. The fact that you would both help me has truly touched my heart. But I'd appreciate it if you withdraw Act 3. You can't see it from there, but it would seem my back is starting to rip itself open."

Rohan's back started bleeding more as Koichi gasped.

Koichi spoke "Act 3, withdraw Three Freeze on the double!"

Reverb Act 3 spoke "S H I T. Withdraw completed."

Rohan started panting.

Koichi asks "Hey, you okay, Rohan-sensei? How bad is it?"

A voice taunts "How bad does it look, Koichi Hirose? *As Koichi gasped* You're the reason he's in this mess!"

Rohan kept moving while leaving a trail of blood from his back as he kept sweating in horror.

Koichi spoke "A Stand that clings to backs? This is too bizarre."

Rohan spoke "*Weak chuckle* Bizarre? Too true. Have a look. *Crazed expression* You know you and your friends want to. Do it. *Starts walking away from the wall* I'm happy to give you a peek."

We gasped as he walked past something.

Cinderpelt gasps "Meow?! (Has he finally snapped?!)"

Rohan started giggling insanely as he walked away from the wall.

Koichi spoke "Rohan-sensei!"

Rohan then turned his back toward us, showing us a Stand that was on his back.

A Stand spoke "He's finally lost his mind! Now you realize a visit to Midnight would be futile!

Rohan spoke "*Suddenly calm with an eased expression* Midnight? *Soft chuckle* I never had any intention of paying him a visit. This was my destination. I was beside myself that I finally made it. I can't help but laugh. *Chuckles*"

The Stand spoke "What's with all the rambling? You finally showed your back to another soul! Now I get to pass into one of them!"

But then we realized where we are!

Koichi spoke "Wait! I know this street! This is where we met!"

Rohan spoke "Cheap Trap, you picked a helluva place to turn around. Even if you had known about this place and resisted turning around, you'd would have still had no choice but to look the others' way, thanks to your special ability."

Cheap Trap gasps "*Sees something emerging from behind us* Wh-What the hell?!"

Hordes of arms emerged from the darkness and grabbed Cheap Trap with their hands.

Koichi spoke "We're walking down Reimi's street! Looking back's a death wish!"

Rohan spoke "You were right about no Stand being able to remove you from my back, you'd just end up hurting me if you tried. However, there is something that can take you, something that latches onto those who dare to look back, something that will carry away your very soul."

Cheap Trap spoke "*Yells!* Pet me go! Please let me go, yes?! Where are these things gonna take me?! Answer!"

Rohan spoke "*Summons Heaven's Door and opened a page on Cheap Trap's forehead* I can't say for sure whether there's a heaven or hell, but a simple memo should do a trick."

Heaven's Door wrote on the page as the order said "Go to Hell" before the hands whisked away a screaming Cheap Trap before we all found ourselves out of that street as Rohan sighed in relief.

Rohan spoke "For a Stand that does nothing but talk, he was quite a little terror. Koichi, Ichigo, if one of you hadn't have shown up when you did, I'm sure I wouldn't still be around to tell the tale."

Koichi spoke "I had no clue this is where we ended up, I was too focused on that freaky enemy Stand."

I spoke "Glad that's over... Now, we have to track down Yoshikage!"

But then we heard barking as we saw Reimi and Arnold looking at something of Rohan's.

Koichi spoke "It's Reimi."

Reimi asks "Hey Rohan, did you take the pictures in this album?"

Rohan asks "Yes, why?"

Reimi spoke "I assume there's a reason this one is marked. What's so special about it? You seemed to have homed in on this little boy."

We looked at the photo Reimi pointed to, seeing a grade-school young cat mobian boy. spying with a video recorder in it.

Rohan spoke "Oh, yeah. I'm not too concerned with him. He seemed to be sneaking around the area, so I thought I'd document him."

Reimi spoke "But look, the boy's name is Hayato Kawajiri. He has the same surname as his man."

Rohan asks "Really? He does?"

Reimi asks "Yeah, check it out. Weren't you investigating this person?"

Rohan spoke "Mm-hmm. He was one of many potential suspects."

I ask "Didn't Danyelle see him in one of her visions though Josuke?"

Josuke asks "I think so, but you think this grade-school kid has something to do with Kira?

Koichi spoke "Well, at this point, we're not sure if we're not totally sure if they're connected."

Rohan spoke "But with that, I think I'm onto something here now."

Josuke spoke "Gotta admit, I agree. A grade-school kid taking videos of his dad on the down low sends up some serious red flags."

"Maybe we should all meet up tomorrow morning. And after discussing everything, we'll look at the Kawajiri residence all together." I said, bringing out a folded paper as I looked at it.

Rohan spoke "Don't worry, I already know the address."

Josuke spoke "Heh, you sure don't miss a beat, do you, you artsy asshole? *As Rohan scoffed* Well, count me in. And I should ask Okuyasu, right? And Midnight too. Can't forget about him."

Koichi spoke "You can leave getting in touch with Mr. Midnight to me. Alright, we'll all see each other tomorrow at 8:30 AM. Just look for the big Pepsi sign."
