*Nightmare Danyelle’s POV*

Geras called, saying he wanted to talk to me about something.

I ask "What's up Geras?"

I was at the Hourglass as I checked my watch, seeing that it was 7:30, then after a few seconds, 7:31.

Geras spoke "For some reason last night, the sands of the hourglass were reversed by one hour before they flowed as they should be."

“Wait, really?” I asked in confusion.

Geras spoke "Yes."

Ears flatten, I spoke "Someone is fucking with time... Dia is NOT going to be happy about it."

Geras spoke "Unfortunately, what caused the rewind to happen is unknown."

I spoke "good thing I always keep Chaos Barrier active on my body since this time shift could affect my pregnancy."

Dia soon arrives.

Dia spoke "Geras."

Geras asks "Did you find what was causing it?"

Dia spoke "No, but I managed to roughly pinpoint where it happened. It’s in Morioh.

Geras spoke "Hmm… I see."

“I’ll head there and find out what’s going on.” I assured.

Geras spoke "That would be a good course of action, but do not risk your life."

I spoke "Damn it Dia, put some clothes on!"

Dia spoke "What? I’m a naturalist."

I opened a warp ring to Morioh before heading through.

Kia arrives in Morioh the same time I did.

Kia spoke "I’ll stick with you, Dany."

I ask "Did Arcee send you?"

Kia spoke "*Sigh* No, Gira did."

I spoke "But I thought Arcee forbade any interaction with Gira."

Kia spoke "Gira has her ways."

Ash and Indigo arrive via warp ring with Twilight.

Deep Lilac spoke "You might need our help Danyelle."

Indigo spoke "Well, let's not do anything reckless."

Ash spoke "It was your idea to follow Demon Lord Twilight though Indigo!"

Indigo spoke "Hey! You're the blockhead since Iris calls you a kid all the time!"

Deep Lilac snaps "ENOUGH! You two shouldn't be bickering right now!"

"Look, let's just split up for now and see what each of us can find." I said.

Kia asks "Don't you have those lions working for you Danyelle?"

"Sorry, but I have to look into this personally." I informed.

My comm goes off since Mahiri was contacting me.

"What is it?" I asked as I checked the time, seeing that it was 8:29.

Mahiri spoke "*Comm* I see that Smeargle from last night looking at something in his car with interest."

"Rohan?" I asked as it was raining and lightning struck the Pepsi sign with no consequence.

Mahiri spoke "*Comm* Yes. Now he looks shocked and confused for some reason."

It was now 8:30 before Mahiri gasped.

"What happened?" I asked.

Mahiri spoke "*Comm* Blood started shooting out of three spots on his back as one of his earrings fell off! He fell onto stairs with his behind, and he's struggling to stand up and is looking left, trying to call out to someone. *Scream!* He suddenly exploded entirely!"

"What?!" I gasped in horror before I alone suddenly found myself back at the hourglass. "What in the...?" I said in shock before looking at my watch, seeing that it was 7:30 as a few seconds later, it became 7:31.

Geras spoke "It happened again."

Dia spoke "Okay, that fucking tears it! Someone is messing with time!"

"Wait a minute... That explosion... It went off right before I found myself back here." I remembered.

The Tantabus thoughtspoke "{The reason why you still remember is because your mind is protected from all sorts of mind control and time changes.}"

"I'm gonna need Kia, Deep Lilac, Ash and Indigo before I head out. And we're not gonna split up this time." I said.

Dia spoke "I'm going too and you can't stop me."

"Is that the best idea? Because last I checked, you and Kia don't get along that well." I pointed out.

Dia spoke "This is a dire emergency though."

"Okay, but don't do anything risky." I warned.

Dia pokes my stomach.

Dia spoke "That there is your reason why you can't do anything risky either."

I spoke "Fair enough."

I head back to Morioh with Dia in tow.

I spoke "Something is definitely off..."

Dia spoke "I sense it too..."

Though unseen by Dia, Amaterasu was growling.

I ask "Do you sense that Dia?"

Dia spoke "Yeah... Something or someone is watching us..."

Dia and I were back to back while looking around, watching for anything abnormal.

My ears were on full alert as well.

I also kept an eye on the clock, seeing it later became 8:30 before my ears heard an explosion. And I had a feeling I know what happened. "Let's move!" I urged before Dia and I moved, looking at my watch as it then became 8:31. Dia and I soon arrived at the place near the Pepsi sign at 8:36, seeing Josuke, Okuyasu, Koichi and Midnight, holding one of Rohan's earrings, asking a young cat mobian boy with ginger fur about a photo. But then I noticed the name tag on the boy's backpack, seeing the name "Hayato Kawajiri" as he tried to run off, but Josuke healed the boy's nosebleed with Shining Diamond as he introduced himself, Midnight, Okuyasu and Koichi. Josuke tried to ask a question, but...

Hayato spoke "I'm begging you! Don't say anything else!"

That caught us off guard as the boy walked a bit away in horror.

Josuke asks "What do you mean don't say anything else?"

Midnight asks "What is it that you don't want us to ask?"

Koichi asks "Does all of this have to do with your dad?"

The boy crouched down, covering his head in horror.

Koichi asks "What's going on, huh?"

Josuke asks "Why can't we say anything else?"

Okuyasu spoke "Yeah, I mean, we haven't even asked him anything yet."

Midnight spoke "From the looks of it, us asking the boy is what's scaring him."

The boy brought out something and tried to do an action.

Josuke spoke "It shouldn't be this difficult. Let's just ask him about Kosaku Kawajiri already.

Midnight asks "Wait, something's not right with the boy. You okay, boy? Hey, you alright?"

Midnight approached Hayato before turning him towards us, showing him holding a drawn tape cutter at his neck, but somehow unable to even touch it. But then a familiar Stand appeared, smaller as it kept Hayato from killing himself right before the Tantabus covered my pupils in darkness, making the Stand in my sight disappear.

Midnight gasps "What in the?!"

Josuke asks "Isn't that Kira's...?!"

Okuyasu spoke "Yeah, it is! That's a face I'd never forget!"

Koichi spoke "It's Deadly Queen!"

Everyone's Stands attacked, but all of their strikes phased through the enemy Stand before I noticed all of their right eyes glowing purple.

Deadly Queen spoke "Actually, you're looking at Deadly Queen's bomb type three, Bites the Dust. To attack me or defend against me now would be futile. In fact the only reason you can see it is because I've already entered your pupils. It doesn't matter how many of you have gathered together, the moment you asked about my true identity, your fate was sealed."

I then heard a click before Josuke, Midnight, Okuyasu and Koichi blew up with Dia taking heavy damage as Hayato screamed in horror before Dia and I found ourselves back at the Hourglass with Geras as the Dialga and Tantabus were unharmed with the time being 7:36.

Geras spoke "It has happened once more."

Dia spoke "Okay, now we know the cause. Deadly Queen has some kind of new power called Bites the Dust, which can somehow obliterate time and rewind it by one hour while making a non-Stand User a living land mine and the Stand's temporary user. The bomb seems to activate if we question Hayato about Kira."

"Which means we have to find Kira and either kill him or force him to deactivate the bomb. But there's a ticking clock, if we don't kill Kira or make him deactivate the bomb, Rohan, Josuke, Midnight, Okuyasu and Koichi will be blown to kingdom come with Dia sustaining heavy damage. I think everything's set in stone under Bites the Dust's power." I informed.

Dia spoke "No matter how many times we try, we can't stop that monster."

I spoke "But given that I have a second Stand, I can use it to shield my eyesight as my main stand attacks Killer Queen."

The Tantabus spoke "{Like I did covering your pupils in darkness.}"

I spoke "Exactly, I might be the only one who can actually stop Killer Queen."

Geras spoke "You may need Josuke’s assistance."

I spoke "And have him get blown up again? You forget Geras, my Celestial Gods Stand is almost as powerful as DIO's Stand was. Plus there's 16 pieces total, Killer Queen is on its own."

Geras spoke "But if Bites the Dust is as you and Dia say, if that bomb gets deactivated before it goes off inside Rohan, Josuke, Midnight, Okuyasu, Koichi and Dia, not only will the bomb be removed, but you will have saved their lives and changed their fates."

I spoke "Which is why I have to face Killer Queen alone. I can't risk that fucker rewinding time again. And since Hayato Kawajiri's a trigger, I have to save him as well."

Dia spoke "Actually, I have a feeling it’ll turn out different this time."

“If you say so.” I responded in confusion before heading to Morioh via warp ring. Later, it became 8:29 and 16 with the seconds counting before I saw Josuke and Okuyasu run by as I decided to follow them. Soon, Josuke suddenly stopped with shock and determination, much to my confusion before I saw a white-suited male adult cat Mobian with combed white fur and black wavy stripes with Hayato.

Okuyasu spoke "Hey! Josuke! Looks like we’re gonna make it to the big meeting on time after all!"

Josuke spoke "Hold it! This guy, he isn’t who he says he is. I don’t know if it was pure chance or fate giving us a break, but I heard this guy say a certain name."

A male spoke "*Shock* I don’t believe it."

Josuke spoke "Believe it, ‘cause I know I just heard you say the name Yoshikage Kira."

Okuyasu asks "Seriously?!"

Hayato… Did he somehow plan this?

The male asks "What are the chances…?

Hayato spoke "This isn’t chance! It’s not fate either. This was making a gamble, and lucky for me, it paid off."

Josuke spoke "Just admit it already, I know I heard the name slither out of your mouth."

The male spoke "It can’t be. *Starts to run*"

Josuke spoke "*Throws bag* Murderer."

Josuke summoned Shining Diamond as he punched the Mobian in the face with a “DORA!”, knocking him down.

Josuke spoke "If it turns out you and him just happen to share a name, don’t you worry, I can heal if need be."

Okuyasu asks "This bastard’s really Yoshikage Kira?"

The male spoke "*Struggles to get up* Damn that little brat, I should have known he would lead me to ruin. *As Shining Diamond started launching a barrage of punches* Protect me, Deadly Queen."

Deadly Queen suddenly emerged from Hayato and blocked the blows. I looked at Rohan as he suddenly gasped before rubbing the back of his neck with his right hand.

Rohan asks "It’s chilly. Must be due to all this rain. Really, is it too much to ask for certain people to show up on time?"

Mine and Hayato’s watches went to 8:30 and seconds continued.

Rohan spoke "Oh, there’s Koichi and Midnight."

Hayato spoke "*Gasp!* Alright. I beat the clock. I defeated destiny."

Kira spoke "I was never one for rapturous highs. No, so long as I avoided dispiriting lows, I was content to live as carefree as a daisy. More than anything, I sought to live a quiet life of peace and tranquility."

Josuke spoke "You’ve finally shown yourself. That’ll make it real easy to knock that peace and tranquility right off your new face!"

Okuyasu asks "Whoa! It’s the dude from Rohan’s picture! Who’d have guessed we’d end up meeting the guy here?"

Josuke spoke "I’m pretty sure we didn’t run into him by chance, Okuyasu. I haven’t figured out all of it, but given that he revealed his real name to Hayato Kawajiri, I get the feeling we showed up just in the nick of time."

Kira spoke " *Wipes lower lips* Before you dullards get all high and mighty, I should tell you I wasn’t running away, despite appearances. I can obliterate any one of you the instant the thought occurs to me. I detest conflict. I hate the very idea of it with the white-hot intensity of a thousand suns. Conflict runs completely counter to the peace and tranquility I strive for every day of my life. It’s really quite simple to rise victorious in a single battle, but of course the stress begins to pile up before the next one. It’s a foolish endeavor. To engage in conflict is to engage in futility."

Josuke spoke "You brought this on yourself when you murdered Shigechi, you frickin’ idiot!"

Okuyasu spoke "You’re a sicko who kills for fun! You shouldn’t get the privilege of flapping those stolen gums, you cat-eyed freak! Watch yourself, Josuke. Make sure you avoid Deadly Queen’s creepy bomb hand at all costs!"

Kira spoke "*As I jumped in* I’ve already told you my reason for not obliterating all of you, earlier. The only souls standing between me and eternal peace and tranquility are you four. Since I’ve been found out, I have no choice but to do battle with you."

Okuyasu spoke "Things are about to get dicey, Hayato, get behind us now!"

Kira spoke "*As Hayato gasped and did that* Let’s see now. Shining Diamond’s range is one to two meters, and it corrects that which has been destroyed or altered."

Josuke spoke "I won’t be fixin’ you up, buddy, so don’t even worry about it. A good butt kickin’s the only treatment you’re getting!"

My Stand and Shining Diamond fought Deadly Queen as we got a bit of an advantage, but he tried to turn something of Josuke’s into a bomb before Okuyasu used the Hand to make Kira and Deadly Queen face him. But then we heard an explosion as it suddenly hit Okuyasu through his right side.

Kira spoke "Nice. Direct hit. That wasn’t bad, especially for beginner’s luck."

Okuyasu spoke "What happened? I didn’t see anything touch me. It’s the air. The air spit some kind of fire."

Josuke spoke "Okuyasu! *Yells*"

Hayato asks "D-Did I hear him right? The air spit fire? But how?!"

Kira spoke "*Stands up* Well, boys and girl? Do you see now? This is why I kept my pet."

Deadly Queen opened his abs, revealing some kind of feline plant.

Kira spoke "I found a way to use Stray Cat’s air-controlling abilities in Deadly Queen’s explosions. I must thank you for carting it all the way here, Hayato."

Hayato spoke "The invisibility of the air mixed with the power of an explosion! He couldn’t have fused a more dangerous combination of elements if he tried! He was growing it to do this all along, and I’m the wise guy who brought the stupid thing right to him!"

Kira spoke "I did tell you was finally on my side, didn’t I? But the characters that make up the word “luck” are “bring” and “life.” *Chuckle* How deliciously apropos."

Josuke rushed at Okuyasu as Deadly Queen launched an air bubble bomb from Stray Cat as we shielded against it with Josuke using Shining Diamond to make a wall out of the street. We continued as Josuke made another wall, only for the bubble bomb slipped through the wall as I jumped back, dodging the explosion as Josuke was hit in the right shoulder. We managed to sidestep the next bubble bomb by charging through it, meaning there was a safety distance for Kira to not get caught in the explosion before he ran back as Josuke was about to heal Okuyasu before Hayato stopped him. He told us that Okuyasu was turned into a bomb as Kira tried to pull a reverse psychology move before Hayato soon told us Deadly can only have one bomb active at a time, and soon ran, then jumped before touching Okuyasu right as Deadly Queen set off the bomb with a click, blowing Hayato up to ashes. Josuke got the idea before using Shining Diamond to restore Hayato, filling reforming him with the boy alive and well as Josuke and I grabbed Okuyasu. Needless to say, me and Josuke were impressed with Hayato’s bravery as Shining Diamond healed Okuyasu’s wound. We soon managed slice the next incoming bomb with me using Tachigami’s skills and Shining Diamond shooting Josuke’s blood into a vertical flying slash attack that cut like a knife. But I suddenly withdrew Tachigami and jumped back as Deadly Queen shattered the blood blade, causing a bit to cut Kira’s left shoulder before the four halves weren’t deflecting and exploded before Josuke and Hayato dodged it with Josuke using Shining Diamond’s power to pull him back to make the street shrapnel return into the road as I safely dodged the attack too. We soon managed to escape into an empty house as I’m pretty sure Kira figured out Josuke and I were the biggest threats. Josuke set Okuyasu down as he had closed eyes.

Josuke spoke "Okuyasu’s dead. Which leaves me no choice. I’m gonna use Shining Diamond to wipe Yoshikage Kira off the planet. He’s plagued us long enough. I’m putting an end to his evil."

“I’m helping out too.” I pointed out.

Josuke spoke "Hayato… Hide against the wall ‘til this is over. I don’t want Kira laying eyes on you."

Hayato did that before he soon called out to us and informed us of an incoming invisible air bullet. Josuke grabbed and threw a tray of used cigarettes with ash, as the ashes revealed the bomb as we started moving away with Josuke holding lit cigarettes, only to find the bomb following is as we backed away and split up, finding out that the bomb’s was going for Josuke. Hayato thought it was a homing missile, but that bomb isn’t Heart Attack, a heat-seeking self-destructive mini-tank as the bomb wasn’t going for the lit cigarette. The bomb soon got faster as Hayato and I looked out the window, seeing Kira hiding right outside the gate before Shining Diamond shattered a glass vase and made a heart-shaped projectile with a piece of Josuke blood in it before shooting the projectile. The bomb the went off, chatting the second-floor railings and blew Josuke off it was a piece in his left side and leg. Deadly Queen deflected the glass projectile as I picked up Josuke before I sensed the glass missile hit Kira in the back thanks to Josuke’s dried blood on his suit. Soon, another bomb was coming before Shining Diamond shot another glass missile into the air outside the air.

Hayato spoke "What are you doing? The same attack isn’t gonna work on Kira twice! You know that! He’ll deflect it!"

Josuke asks "Maybe he will, but we’ll never know until we try, right? By the way, Danyelle, I’m sorry to bother you, but do you still have the ghost trap holding the old man?"

“Yeah, of course I do.” Zoey answered, bringing it out.

Josuke spoke "Open it, trust me here. *As I started to unlock and open the ghost trap* Time’s come, we have to find out how he knows where we are."

“Why are you asking me to open it?” Zoey asked as I was almost done.

Josuke spoke "I’m starting to get the feeling he’s not observing us with his eyes. He may be listening to our every move. Kira was clutching a cell phone. Simple coincidence? Yeah, right. So who was on the other end of that call? His boss from the office? Nah. There’s only one person in the world Kira would call at a time like this."

Zoey successfully unlocked and opened the ghost trap without any consequences before Yoshihiro flew out with a yell, holding a phone. Shining Diamond the swiped the phone as Yoshihiro gasped as Josuke then obtained the phone while covering the mic.

Josuke spoke "I’d almost forgotten about you floating around, you crusty old man. Yoshikage Kira’s one and only savior, his pathetic father."

“The ghost trap is designed to hold paranormal things, beings and entities. The possibility of a normal phone call being able to be communicated through it didn’t cross my mind at all.” I realized as the bomb got in.

Hayato spoke "*Gasp!* Oh, no! It’s the air bullet! It passed right through the window!"

Josuke spoke "Get back!"

Yoshihiro used his sleeve threads to grapple upwards before Josuke started whispering softly into the phone.

Josuke spoke "*Softly whispering* I see Josuke. He’s currently fleeing three meters forward."

The bomb totally bypassed his head, not exploding.

Yoshihiro spoke "Wha?! I don’t believe it!"

Josuke spoke "*Still whispering softly into the phone* Keep going. Now the fool’s moving to the right and up, three meters.

Josuke’s keeping his voice soft and whispering, pretending to be Yoshihiro as the bomb started going after the old ghost with him screaming.

Josuke spoke "*Still whispering softly* Change of plans. To the left. Move one meter. Almost there."

Yoshihiro spoke "What in the hell?! You are such a duplicitous dickhead!"

Josuke spoke "*Still softly whispering into the phone* Bull’s-eye. Press the button!"

We heard a click.

Yoshihiro spoke "Yoshikage!"

The bomb exploded, destroying only Yoshihiro as we can tell that explosion and smoke could be noticed from a distance.

Yoshikage asks "*Laughs on the phone* Tell me. Did that vaporize Josuke? Is he dead?"

Josuke spoke "*Normally to the phone* Yeah, you splattered the room with him. *As Kira gasped in shock* Now he’s floating in the great beyond. But he was already a ghost, so it’s more like you shipped him off to the big nursing home in the sky."

Yoshikage spoke "*On the phone* Josuke."

I felt the second glass missile hit Kira in the back, knocking the phone out of his hand as the three of us went outside, facing Yoshikage.

Josuke spoke "*Panting* You stepped into our range. Big mistake, Yoshikage Kira."

“This battle is over.” I declared.

Yoshikage spoke "That’s enough. I’m ending you both!"

Josuke spoke "Then bring it on. We’re ready. Now call out Deadly Queen."

The three of us brought out our Stands.

Yoshikage spoke "Deadly Queen!"

Shining Diamond and Celestial Gods counted and punched Deadly Queen in the face as he tried to attack, but our Stands countered.

Yoshikage spoke "Shit! They’re strong!"

Josuke and I yelled as Celestial Gods and Shining Diamond delivered a flurry of blows before we soon saw the enemy Stand and Yoshikage unaffected, much to our shock and horror.

Hayato spoke "Wait. What? No way. When did he that? They were so close to winning! Josuke and Danyelle were totally overpowering Kira!

We saw air bubbles against the front of Deadly Queen, having blocked and absorbed our every attack.

Josuke asks "What? All that punching and attacking, and we didn’t connect?"

Yoshikage spoke "They were blocked by the air bullets. But how? I never intended to use them as protection. I didn’t have time to act! *As Deadly Queen’s abs opened, revealing a hissing* Stray Cat! I understand. Stray Cat anticipated the incoming flurry of blows and strikes, and then protected itself instinctively! Let’s finish them off, Deadly Queen! Make that air bullet a bomb! *As Deadly Queen did that* Victory. It’s now an explosive. And at this distance, your deaths are all but assured. With the injuries you’ve gotten, you don’t have the ability to avoid my attack, Josuke Higashikata. This is the end for you and your friend!"

Josuke spoke "Damn you, Kira…!"

Hayato spoke "A contact explosion?! Josuke, quick, you have to grab a piece of glass or wood to use! Whack it and take cover!"

Shining Diamond didn’t have the strength as I was racking my brain to get an idea of what to do!

Yoshikage spoke "I win! I’ve come out on top just like every other time my back has been against the wall! My guardian angel never fails, you and your friend’s fates have been sealed, boy!"

Hayato screams before we all suddenly heard a scrape as the bomb somehow started going away from Josuke and I.

Yoshikage asks "What’s going on?"

Hayato spoke "Check out the air bullet. For some reason, it changed course."

We looked at where the bomb was heading, and we couldn’t believe our eyes.

Yoshikage spoke "No. You’re dead."

Hayato asks "How is he…?"

Josuke asks "Is this really happening?"

“Did some kind of miracle happen?” I asked before we saw Okuyasu and the Hand, alive and fully healed.

“Okuyasu, you’re alive!” Josuke, Hayato, Zoey, Dren and I gasped in surprise.

Okuyasu spoke "Wow, this power. It always blows my mind. I’ve thought about it really hard, but I still can’t figure out where the Hand puts all the stuff it scraps away. *As he and the Hand gently guided the air bullet without touching it* Although, I’ve never been the best at using my brain, so I guess that’s no big surprise. *As the Hand erased the air bomb* Off you go!"

Yoshikage asks "How the hell did you…?"

Hayato spoke "I-It’s Okuyasu… He’s as good as new. But I’m positive his heart stopped beating and he for sure wasn’t breathing!"

Okuyasu spoke "Oh man, that dream was really freaky. I was walkin’ around in this dark open space, when I suddenly saw this bright light. The source of that light, was my mother. She asked me where I was planning to go next. I told her, “I’m going with you, mom”. Ever since she died, I really missed my mom. Then she said something I never expected, “You have to decide. Okuyasu, your brother knows that wherever you go, you are the master of your own journey.” I thought about that real hard. And as soon as I said I was going back to Morioh, I woke up in the house. I had all sorts of sad feelings, though."

Josuke spoke "Okuyasu… Hey, news flash, Einstein. This isn’t the time to drone on about your mom and seeing the light."

Okuyasu spoke "Uh-oh. Seems like someone in a crabby mood. Those injuries must not be too bad since you still have enough energy to be a jerk."

“Shut your face! If you were alive all along, why didn’t you open your eyes, idiot!” Josuke smiled as he and I had happy tears.

Yoshikage spoke "No, impossible! Ever since I was a little child, luck has always been on my side! I’ve never run out of luck, and I refuse to start now! Fire another bomb, Stray Cat, and make it count!"

The Hand scrapped space away as Strat Cat flew out of Deadly Queen and Okuyasu caught the feline plant stand.

Yoshikage asks "Wh-What?"

Okuyasu spoke "Whoa there, little dude! Easy, easy."

Hayato spoke "*Gasp!* You did it! We’ve got Kira now! Thanks to you, he won’t be able to use his air bullets as explosives!"

Yoshikage spoke "It makes no sense… How has it come to this…? *As Josuke got back up* Fools! Yoshikage Kira’s never met a problem he couldn’t conquer! You won’t do me in!"

Koichi spoke "Mr. Midnight, look! *As Kira gasped at that* It looks like the bang came from that big house over there. It sounded like some kind of big gas explosion. *Notices Kira* Hey, that man needs help. Just look, he’s been injured. *Notices us* What in the world? It’s Josuke, Okuyasu and Danyelle!"

Rohan spoke "That kid they’re with, it’s Hayato Kawajiri."

Midnight spoke "And that Mobian with blood is Kosaku Kawajiri. But I know what’s actually going on here."

Fire trucks were here.

Hayato spoke "It doesn’t matter if you have some guardian angel. Your lucky break is about to come to a painful end. You’re done! Nothing you’ve got compares to these guys’ righteous hearts, they’re gonna make you pay! Do you feel it, Yoshikage Kira? The truth is staring you right in the face! You’re nothing compared to them!"

Yoshikage spoke "This has to be a bad dream. There’s no other reason. Things like this just don’t happen to me, it’s impossible. Such an outrage would befall onto in a dream."

“Well, it’s your worst nightmare come to life, Kira!” I quipped.

Okuyasu spoke "Nah, it’s the real deal, and you’re going down."

Josuke spoke "I guess that means your good fortune’s run out."

Hayato spoke "You’re through, murderer."

Koichi spoke "*As Kira fell* Look, Josuke’s been clobbered to a bloody mess."

Rohan spoke "Given the state of his injuries, it seems they’ve battle a little while now. Which means we’re looking at…"

Midnight spoke "The genuine Yoshikage Kira."

A nurse came by. “We have a bleeder over here. Someone bring over an ambulance and get a stretcher now! Sir, can you hear me? If you can hear me, there’s an ambulance on the way. Rest assured, you’re in very good hands."

Hayato spoke "*Gasp!* Don’t do it! Get away from her!"

The nurse spoke "We’ll be taking you to the hospital momentarily. Just stay with me, alright? *Sees Kira lifting a hand* Don’t worry, you’ll be find."

Yoshikage grabbed the nurse’s hand.

Hayato spoke "No! We were too slow! Kira’s already turned that medical lady into a bomb!"

The nurse asks "How many fingers am I holding up?"

Rohan spoke "Midnight, it’s time to use Star Platinum."

Midnight spoke "I know that, but I’m too far, even if I stopped time for a few seconds. I need to get within five meters to be effective."

Josuke spoke "So he’s gonna hold her hostage as a bomb. Go ahead and blow her up if you’re so bad! I’ll fix her faster than you can say Deadly Queen!"

Hayato spoke "Josuke, just keep your cool. Kira blowing up the hostage is the least of our worries. I couldn’t tell you before, but he’s been hiding a secret power. It’s called Bites the Dust, and he can use it… to obliterate time! His abilities manifests itself with non-Stand Users, normal people like me and that lady. That’s why I couldn’t talk to you guys in the other timelines. It only appears when Kira screws the pooch and runs out of options. That’s the exact situation we’re in right now! He’s spiraling into the deepest pits of despair so he’s made a bomb that turns back time by one hour!"

Josuke spoke "This day just keeps getting worse."

Yoshikage asks "*Gasping* It’s so beautiful, your elegant hand, its silky smooth knuckles, and your supplely soft skin. It’s so pure, I’d even call it milky. May I use your gorgeous hand to caress my cheek?"

The nurse asks "Huh?"

Yoshikage spoke "It soothes my soul and brings relief to my restless spirit."

Yoshikage soon started ranting about seeing the Mona Lisa when he was a young boy, even cutting off the picture’s hands and placing them on a wall in his room like a trophy.

The nurse asks "Sir, please! What do you think you’re doing?"

Yoshikage spoke "The truth is my name is Yoshikage Kira. I’ve had the pleasure of killing 48 beautiful women with even more beautiful hands. But you’re a special beauty! You will be the only one to have ever known my true identity."

Hayato spoke "Guys, this isn’t good! Bites the Dust is about to activate! *As Josuke and I gasped* Quickly! We have to kill him right now! If we let Kira live, everyone here besides her will be blown to smithereens!"

All of us gasped at that before Midnight and Rohan started running.

Koichi spoke "Midnight!"

Josuke tried to run too as he growled, but his injuries kept him from doing this as he winced.

Kira spoke "What’s this, Midnight? My hatred for you fools has manifested Bites the Dust, and you’re charging ahead anyway? If that’s how you want it! You can stop time for all I care! In fact, all I want is for you to back me into a corner! Once I’m pushed to the brink, my Stand’s power will be triggered, and I’ll put you cretins out of commission permanently!"

Josuke spoke "Midnight, stop time, already! You can’t let him push Deadly Queen’s switch! Don’t let him do it, Midnight!"

Yoshikage spoke "I’ve finally reached my limit with you all. Time to die!"

Deadly Queen was about to set off the bomb before his trigger hand was weighed down, cracking the ground.

Reverb Act 3 spoke "Mission success! The primary target has entered the five-meter active range of Act Three! Three Freeze! S H I T!"

Yoshikage spoke "*Gasps as he groaned while struggling to lift his right hand* Release me, you insignificant pest!"

Midnight spoke "Star Platinum, freeze the world!"

All of time stopped except for Midnight and Star Platinum.

Midnight spoke "Thanks, Koichi. You’re one of the most honest, loyal and trustworthy people I’ve met. AJ and Rainbow Dash would be proud. I’m eternally thankful for coming here and meeting you. But good grief, that was too close for comfort, glad we made it."

Star Platinum appeared and punched the trigger hand as Midnight took a deep breath, focusing before Star Platinum delivered a flurry of blows.

Star Platinum spoke "Ora! Oraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraora!"

Star Platinum stopped and turned away.

Midnight spoke "Time for clock to start ticking again."

Time resumed as Yoshikage was sent flying back.

Josuke spoke "Hey, he did it!"

Hayato spoke "Man, that was close!"

Yoshikage landed flat on his back as he struggled to get up. “You haven’t beaten me. I’ll push that button, and when I do, Bites the Dust will hunt you all down. This is far from over."

The nurse spoke "*Gasp!* But how? He just flew into the air!"

Yoshikage spoke "*Places left hand on the ground, still struggling to get up* I’ll push the button. Just wait and see. I’ll blow you to hell. If I do, I can live out my days in peace and quiet."

Rohan spoke "His tenacity is certainly impressive."

A male spoke "Hey, stop! Stop! You’re gonna run over the guy!"

An ambulance drove back and snapped Yoshikage’s neck before… It’s too gruesome to describe.

Josuke spoke "Holy…!"

The man and nurse screamed in horror.

the male spoke "M-My god. The ambulance just ran over that man!"

The second male spoke "He came out of nowhere!"

The male spoke "Move! Pull forward!"

An officer spoke "All right, you two, I need you to get behind the tape!"

A second officer spoke "Get back! Come on! Get back!"

A third male spoke "*As Midnight and Rohan did that* I need you to just lie down."

The second male spoke "*As Josuke sighed* There’s nothing we can do. It was an instantaneous death."

A few of us gasped with the nurse giving a sigh.

Okuyasu asks "He’s dead?"

The first man spoke "It’s so crazy. It’s like he tried to dive under the ambulance."

The nurse spoke "I feel responsible for this. I know there’s no excuse for what happened, but I didn’t have a chance to restrain him."

Midnight spoke "Life can be bizarre."

The second male spoke "He was pinned between the asphalt and tire. The force tore off his face."

The officer asks "*Ahem!* Do we know the identity of the victim?"

The nurse spoke "*As Yoshikage's body was covered* He was Yoshikage Kira. He told me his name himself."

All of us gasped at that.

The officer spoke "Kira. There’s an old house in Kotodai belonging to the Kira family. I heard there was only one occupant, so he might not have family."

Koichi spoke "An accident. To think an accident would end this."

Rohan spoke "It all worked out for the best. The law would never have been able to give the punishment he deserved. There was no better outcome."

Hayato spoke "I-I never really got along with my dad when he was still with us, but, even so, I never thought I’d lose him. *Picks up suitcase and clutches it to his chest* I wanted justice for my dad’s death. I wanted someone to bring his killer to justice."

But then I called Zane, asking if he had a vial containing Kosaku Kawajiri’s blood. He answered me yes, helping me smile.

Midnight spoke "Hold it Danyelle, I don't think it's possible to bring Mr Kawajiri back to life. Not after what that jerk did."

“Not with the defaced body back in Cinderella, we can’t. That’s why we need a clean slate. And I’m already aware that the soul already passed on, that’s why I’m gonna talk to Faust about it personally before we decide to do anything about it. If he saw what happened, Mr. Kawajiri probably realized more than a few things and wants to make up for his mistakes.” I noted. “And before you say anything, I know there’s a time limit. But remember my mom and dad? I’m still wrapping my head around that being the one exception.” I admitted before I noticed an alleyway and went into it before finding myself alone.

High Goddess Faust spoke "Hi, Dany."

That spooked me. “Oh for-Please don’t do that, High Goddess Faust.”

High Goddess Faust spoke "Sorry, but I heard you discussing with Midnight about Kosaku Kawajiri. I saw him watch everything that happened at his home, he even had a little jealousy episode. He really sounded like he just wanted to be a good husband and father for his family."

I spoke "You're lucky I don't slap gods."

High Goddess Faust spoke "spoke "*Shrug* Eh, I would’ve deserved it. Anyway, after I told him something, he wanted to meet with you as soon as Kira was dead."

“Wait, what?” I asked in confusion before I saw the spirit of a male black cat Mobian, the real Kosaku Kawajiri with Faust.

Kosaku spoke "Um… Hello, Miss Danyelle."

That definitely surprised me.

Amaterasu appears in her Mobian form.

Amaterasu spoke "It was not just Danyelle that put a stop to the madness, Mr Josuke and Mr Midnight helped too."

“Okuyasu as well.” I added.

Kosaku spoke "You really have my deepest gratitude for protecting my son from that murderer. Please forgive me if this request sounds selfish, but can you help revive me so that I can become a better man for my family? I just want to really be there for them."

High Goddess Faust spoke "Thing is, Kosaku Kawajiri is an honest and hardworking man, even if the salary he gets is low. He wanted to improve himself so he wouldn’t be submissive, there was other stuff he wanted to change for the better. Bottom line is, if you’re really planning to make him a new body, I’m not gonna stop you. But since he was already up ahead, I knew I had to get him down here."

“You mean that?” I asked.

High Goddess Faust spoke "Of course.

“Thank you, High Goddess Faust. I don’t have a spirit container with me, but I have a good substitute. But I apologize if it’s a bit tight.” I gave a heads up as I brought out the empty ghost trap.

Zoey calls out "Hey Danyelle! Catch!"

Zoey tosses an empty spirit container to me which I catch with magic.

“When did you…?” I was about to ask.

Zoey spoke "Found myself and Dren in Reimi’s street, and you shoulda seen what happened to Kira. It was so satisfying, like we’ve been freed from the bottom of the ocean and granted the first breath of fresh air in a day."

I ask "And what about Reimi?"

Dren spoke "The others are waiting on you before they can say goodbye to Reimi."

High Goddess Faust spoke "*Facepalm!* I knew I was here for another reason. *As Kosaku went into the container* Sorry that slipped my mind."

I gave a hearty laugh as I wingslap High Goddess Faust on the back of the head.

High Goddess Faust spoke "*Hearty giggle* Yeah, I deserved that."

High Goddess Faust left with a smile as Zoey, Dren and I later went to Reimi and Arnold’s location, seeing Koichi and Rohan.

Koichi spoke "What?! Are you really leaving us, Reimi? Surely it wouldn’t hurt anything if you stayed a little while longer. I mean, you’ve been like a guardian angel to this town. I can’t imagine life here without you! Please, you have to stay!"

Reimi asks "Koichi, you’re very sweet, but Arnold and I have done everything we set out to accomplish here. The time’s come for us to leave Morioh. That’s how it has to be. So, Little Rohan, do you think you’re gonna cry after we’ve gone off to the great beyond?"

Rohan spoke "*Chuckles* In your dreams. What reason would I have to miss you? You died years ago, making you a distant memory. I’ve said this before, but spirits should really just let go. Haunting the world of the living is so out of style. A soul’s final resting place isn’t here with us, but exploring the uncharted afterlife."

Koichi groaned at that.

Rohan spoke "Uh, *Looks away* hmph."

Koichi started growling as Rohan sighed.

“Come on, Rohan, don’t lie to yourself.” I pointed out.

Rohan spoke "Fine! I’ll say it, all right?! But I’m only doing so because I’ll never see you again! I’ll miss you! *As Koichi laughed with a smile* Of course I don’t want you to go!"

Reimi chuckled with happy tears as Arnold whimpered a bit.

Josuke spoke "*Shows up* Yo."

Okuyasu, Keicho, Mr. Nijimura, Midnight, Opaline, Pearl, Joseph, Lillian, Tempest, Naomi and Stray Cat showed up too.

Koichi spoke "Hey! You’re all here!"

Yukako asks "*Arrives* So it’s all over, Reimi?"

Yuya, Tonio, Mikitaka, Toshikazu and Tamami arrived as well. That counts all ally Stand Users in Morioh, except Toyohiro since he couldn’t leave Super Fly.

Koichi spoke "Oh, wow! Looks like everyone showed up!"

Mikitaka spoke "We’ve all come to say goodbye."

Reimi spoke "*Gasp* You guys."

Josuke spoke "Itfeels weird to say this to the dearly departed, but take care of yourself."

Okuyasu asks See you on the other side, ‘kay?"

Mr. Nijimura gurgled a bit.

Joseph spoke "You’re an extraordinary young woman, dear."

Deep Lilac spoke "We will never forget you Reimi."

Rainbow spoke "Don't ever stop being awesome!"

A howl was heard from Holo.

Carrying Shizue in her arms, Ichigo spoke "Goodbye Reimi."

Reimi whimpered as two tears fell and hit the ground, causing her and Arnold to glow as they started ascending.

Koichi spoke "Oh, Reimi, thank you so much for all you’ve done! You saved this little town when it needed a savior the most!"

Reimi spoke "Thank you for saying that, Koichi, but we saved Morioh, all of us together."

Joseph spoke "*As him and most of us smiled gently smiled with Okuyasu shedding a single tear while giving a salute* As long as we draw breath, no one here today will ever forget you or your bravery."

Reimi spoke "Thank you, all. That means the world. So long, my friends. Be well."

Koichi spoke "*With a tear as Rohan sighed* So long, Reimi. Godspeed."

Reimi and Arnold flew higher before they faded with the glowing yellow light in the sky as Koichi waved goodbye.

Koichi spoke "Rest easy."

Rainbow spoke "Even though that Yoshikage jerk is dead now, there are bound to be more enemies out there... Just waiting to strike us down."

Ichigo spoke "But as long as we're still kicking, we won't let anyone disrupt the peace we have won!"

I spoke "It was all of us working together to stop that jerk!"

Deep Lilac spoke "In fact, it was Danyelle's visions that gave us the early warning we needed to stop that guy."

“Yeah.” I agreed before I opened a warp ring to Zane’s lab. “You girls, Dren and Tempest comin’ or what?”

Ichigo spoke "The Defenders of Morioh and I need time to clean things up."

Rainbow spoke "Coming!"

“Fair enough.” I shrugged.

Deep Lilac spoke "Okay."

Lillian spoke "It’s been a while since we hanged out, Dany."

Josuke chuckles "Defenders of Morioh huh? Sounds like a catchy title."

A blushing Ichigo spoke "Thanks, Jojo."

Soon, Twilight, Rainbow, Zoey, Dren, Lillian, Tempest, Naomi and I were in Zane’s lab.

Zane spoke "Already got to work on the new Kosaku body just in case."

I spoke "Thanks."

Josuke spoke "Well, we should get going."

After Josuke got up, he had struck an awesome pose.

“Good to hear, Zane. But do you think you can make a device that focuses sunlight into highly-concentrated sunlight?” I asked.

Zane spoke "I believe so."

Twilight asks "But wouldn't Chaos Heal be more effective?"

I spoke "I'll try it as a backup idea."
