Life as a Sonic OC Redux

*Shadow’s POV*

We managed to sneak to the Khaoseum on the outer bridges above before stopping behind pillars, seeing a fight between a Quan Chi counterpart and a Li Mei counterpart with a Khaos Frost waiting as multitudes of Haviks were spectating, with a few even tearing off and lifting their heads to get a better view.

Cyrax spoke "There are so many Haviks…"

Emperor Rain spoke "All equally revolting. *Sigh* Reiko and Li Mei, the rulers Tanya and I deposed, also revered blood sports. I had hoped I had seen their end."

Deception Quan Chi summoned and threw a skull projectile at Deception Li Mei with it gnawing on her face as she screamed in pain before went limp with the skull vanishing, her death signaling the Quan Chi counterpart’s victory.

Kuai Liang asks "How long did you hold power?"

Emperor Rain spoke "Before Havik came? Long enough to miss what he destroyed. Everything changed in an instant. Our timeline merged into his and was reduced to anarchy."

OC-verse Danyelle whispers "Hey guys, look there..."

A few rebels were chained to the walls, as if forced to wait for their turn as Khaos Frost and Deception Quan Chi fought before she managed to throw him over her and threw an ice ball as he tried to get back up, freezing him. Khaos Frost grabbed a chain and ran before swing it at Deception Quan Chi’s head while running past him, shattering his head as he fell before Khaos Frost screamed in triumph.

Primakura spoke "Let’s just hope that it’s because there wasn’t enough room in there."

Titan Havik spoke "Kenshi wins. Ah! My friends, my friends. If you enjoyed that, you will revel in what comes next. New kombatants will entertain us. Ones who dared to resist. Welcome… Tanya! Cheese Sandwich! Midnight! Pandora! Thorax! As well as the rest of the rebels!"

Khaos minions arrived and unchained the rebels as the gates lowered with Khaos minions pushing out more rebels, some of those revealed to be a counterpart of Tanya, Khaos Cheese Sandwich, a alicorn stallion with a few muscles as tall and big as Khaos Pinkie, Khaos Midnight, Khaos Pandora and Khaos Thorax. All the rebels down there were pushed to the center of the arena before Empress Tanya took one of the minions’ spears and killed the minion that wielded it, yelling at the dispatched minion before the rest of the minions started fighting her and the rebels.

Swampsuke spoke "Hmph. They’re pretty good."

Warrior-verse Danyelle spoke "A little too good..."

OC-verse Danyelle notices a pair of demonic Mobians, one was half dog half alicorn while the other one was full hellhound.

OC-verse Danyelle pokes me on the shoulder.

“Looks like a Loona and a Ryōta.” I noticed before the Khaos minions soon got the advantage over the rebels, capturing them.

Emperor Rain spoke "If she and the others are hurt before we can-"

Lt. Col. Cage spoke "Don’t worry. We’ll surprise ‘em before kombat begins."

But then I noticed Khaos Kenshi facing our direction. His Sento must’ve helped him sense us as he whispered to Titan Havik before the Titan quietly laughed while he and Khaos Kenshi stepped down.

Titan Havik spoke "It seems we have an unexpected, but welcome, wrinkle. The rebels will have partners in kombat!"

Khaos Kenshi drew Sento before using its power to grab all of us out of hiding.

Sektor asks "What’s happening?!"

Khaos Kenshi then swung Sento down, throwing us into the arena as the crowds of Havik cheered and yelled.

Empress Tanya spoke "Rain! *Hugs him* What are you doing? You shouldn’t be here!"

Emperor Rain spoke "Without my Empress, I am not an Emperor."

Khaos Cheese Sandwich spoke "Well, I’m glad you’re here, Pinkster."

Khaos Thorax asks "*Sigh* What am I going to do with you, Ames?"

Khaos Amy asks "*Deadpan* Starve?"

Kuai Liang spoke "You celebrate too soon. This fight is just beginning."

Khaos Midnight asks "Why do I see myself among them?"

Khaos Opaline spoke "No need to worry, Nighty."

Empress Tanya asks "Who are they?"

Lt. Col. Cage spoke "They’re friends, Tanya."

Titan Havik spoke "*Steps up staircase* You had no chance of sneaking in here unnoticed, whether in day or night. Kenshi’s blade excels at ferreting out intruders. I was not expecting you all quite so soon. Your Liu Kang was shrewd to take the initiative."

Emperor Rain spoke "Come down here, Havik! We are waiting."

Empress Tanya spoke "Yes! Entertain your lackeys by fighting us yourself!$

Titan Havik spoke "Feh… You would die too quickly. My followers deserve so much more."

The crowd of Haviks exploded into cheering as they tore off their limbs and threw them towards the arena as Titan Havik gave the signal to a headless Havik near a gong, with him picking up a pole with his severed head at the end of it.

Gong Havik spoke "Chhaaaaaa!"

The Gong Havik rang the gong with his own head as the gates lowered, causing Khaos minions to come pouring out as we fought and killed them. Lt. Col. Cage was bonked on the helmet with a clang since it protected him from a sword attack on the head from a Khaos minion wielding said sword before he grabbed that Khaos minion by the neck. “Fuck you!” The soldier simply said before he punched the Khaos minion in the face and started pushing him with a tackle.

Warrior-verse Danyelle snuck out via shadow movement.

But then Warrior-Verse Danyelle was suddenly punched out of the shadows. “What the?!” She gasped as she saw a figure made of shadows with glowing green eyes emerge from where she was hiding before sinking back in there. “Dang it! Shadow movement’s a no-go!”

Kuro shot a flamethrower from his mouth at the mystery person.

Kuro hisses "We won't let you take over another timeline!"

A powerful yet sudden Harmonic Blast from Kuro had sent many Khaos minions flying out of the arena.

Fenrys howls loud as she attacks a random person.

Khaos Loona spoke "There’s still more coming! And that was just a shadow!"

But then a Khaos Ashrah and Khaos Nitara walked out into the arena with the vaeternian hissing before Khaos Novo, Khaos Skystar, Khaos Blaze and Khaos Silver appeared as well.

Emperor Rain spoke "*As Khaos Ryota, Khaos Pinkie, Khaos Cheese and I joined him and Empress Tanya* A vampire? A demon? Havik needs to do better than that."

Khaos Ashrah spoke "When my kriss fells you, order’s collapse will be hastened. With every strike of it, my soul is one step closer to chaos!"

Khaos Novo spoke "Let’s see if you truly stand up against the ocean’s whimsical power."

Khaos Blaze spoke "Let’s see how well you burn in the chaotic flames of the sun."

Emperor Rain, summoning his staff, Khaos Pinkie and I started fighting the three as Khaos Ryota, Khaos Cheese and Empress Tanya helped us while Khaos Nitara, Khaos Skystar and Khaos Silver assisted the trio of enemies before they soon knocked us down.

Emperor Rain spoke "*As he, Khaos Pinkie and I got back up* You will not vanquish order!"

We fought them again as I felt my power increasing before we later knocked them down.

Emperor Rain spoke "*As Khaos Ashrah, Khaos Novo and Khaos Blaze got back up* Chaos gains no ground."

We fought them one more time before we eventually defeated them as helped by shooting multiple projectiles of a power I thought was gone.

Emperor Rain spoke "As long as I live, I will keep anarchy at bay."

Midnight spoke "Keep them busy, I’ll get to work on Khaos Novo, Khaos Skystar, Khaos Blaze and Khaos Silver."

A portal in the sky opens up before a large squad of dragons fly out of it, lead by none other than Dragon Lord Ember.

Ember spoke "Dragons! Attack Khaos Havik!!!"

Natsu and at least 30 dragons shoot a huge volley of fire at Titan Havik, knocking him off his throne and into the arena.

But for some reason, Titan Havik wasn’t in the arena at all and was still in his throne with the attacks having been neutralized. “Hahaha, your hubris is quite entertaining.”

Dragons suddenly appeared, and they were made out of clumped Khaos minions.

Natsu spoke "Heh! Bring it!"

The dragons started fighting the Khaos minion dragons as Emperor Rain sent out a water projectile with it hitting a Khaos minion, saving Empress Tanya as she wielded a weapon that multiplied into a metallic bo staff.

Emperor Rain spoke "They will overwhelm us if we don’t escape."

Cyrax spoke "*Scans the area with her mask, finding an escape route* That way!"

Lt. Col. Cage killed a Khaos minion with his own sword before getting knocked back by a hammer as a shriek was heard with Kuai Liang sent flying back. We then saw a Khaos Shao and Khaos Sindel as a Khaos Shining Armor, Khaos Cadence, Khaos Mighty and Khaos Ray.

Khaos Sindel spoke "Well done, Husband. We have them."

Empress Tanya spoke "*As Midnight snapped Khaos Blaze, Khaos Silver, Khaos Novo and Khaos Skystar out of the brainwashing* They fight like Reiko and Li Mei."

Emperor Rain spoke "*As Ember, Khaos Cheese Sandwich, Khaos Pinkie and I joined him and Empress Tanya* We defeated those tyrants, we can defeat these. I have faith in Argus, Delia, and you."

Khaos Sindel laughed evilly as Emperor Rain, Khaos Pinkie and I fought her, Khaos Shining Armor and Khaos Ray with help from our three friends while they were assisted by their allies we soon knocked them down.

Emperor Rain spoke "*As Khaos Sindel, Khaos Shining Armor and Khaos Ray got up* The waters will sweep you away."

The three of us fought them again with the others’ help with Khaos Shao, Khaos Cadence and Khaos Mighty backing up our enemies before we later defeated the three.

Emperor Rain spoke "Tyrants always fall."

Khaos Sindel grabbed a giant spiked ball with her hair and threw it at us, only for Emperor Rain to slice it in half with water as Khaos Shao, Khaos Cadence and Khaos Mighty faced us.

Empress Tanya spoke "I adore your quick thinking."

Emperor Rain spoke "Just one of the many reasons you wed me."

Khaos Shao spoke "Lovesick fools! Cast your eyes here, not on each other! To behold those who bring you death."

Khaos Cadence spoke "How cute, a shame I’ll have to destroy it!"

Khaos Mighty spoke "Let’s see what you got."

Emperor Rain, Khaos Pinkie and I fought Khaos Shao, Khaos Cadence and Khaos Mighty with help from our three friends while their trio of allies assisted them before we soon knocked them down.

Emperor Rain spoke "*As Khaos Shao, Khaos Cadence and Khaos Mighty got back up* Death will come no closer."

We fought them again with our friends backing us up while their allies helped them before we later defeated them.

Emperor Rain spoke "Do not be so quick to demand attention."

Midnight used purification magic on Khaos Cadence, Khaos Shining Armor, Khaos Mighty and Khaos Ray as eight of our group picked up the eight unconscious bodies of the Khaos counterparts while Sektor started using both of her wrist flamethrowers on Khaos minions.

Cyrax spoke "We must get to the tunnel."

Emperor Rain spoke "Yes. Expeditiously."

All of us then headed towards the tunnel and ran down before I heard Titan Havik speak. “This will be amusing.”

All of us were soon running down a hallway, chased by Khaos minions as we jumped over a spike pitfall as not all of the Khaos minions got across before Kuai Liang chanted, throwing a fireball and Ember breathing fire at the minions, setting them ablaze while we kept moving, dodging barbed and bladed while’s while some of the Khaos minions were killed by them. Then pillars popped up ahead of us and fired daggers and darts as all of us dodged them while they killed the rest of the Khaos minions, allowing us to stop running before a pair of walls came down at our right and left.

Lt. Col. Cage spoke "Jesus, Mary, Joseph!"

Sektor spoke "So much for our escape."

We heard Titan Havik laughing through the intercom speaker. “Escape? The tunnel is an entrance, not an exit. You are now in the Maze… Its route is ever-changing. Its traps, beyond ingenious. Its denizens, wickedly lethal. No one survives. I delight in finding new ways to kill."

Kuai Liang spoke "We won’t give you the pleasure. We won’t die here."

Titan Havik spoke "*Laughs over intercom speaker* Death is assured. The only question is how it claims you."

A wall raised, revealing a horde of Khaos minions as they charged.

Emperor Rain spoke "We will weather this storm together."

Emperor Rain chanted a water spell before firing, knocking plenty down as we started fighting through the Khaos minions.

A deep bellowing roar was heard as a Bewilderbeast stomps through a portal while Nightmare Danyelle and two of her kids were on the dragon's head.

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "TIME TO DIE TITAN HAVIK!!!"

Several dozen Khaos minions were turned to ice because of the Bewilderbeast that Nightmare Danyelle had befriended.

"What are you doing back here?" I asked.

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Bringing some powerful backup!"

Igneel, Metalicana, Grandeeny, Torch, Amethyst and a few other adult dragons had followed the Bewilderbeast.

Soon, we managed to get past them all before an indestructible and impenetrable wall came down, splitting our team in half as all of the adult dragons and most of the other dragons were with NIghtmare Danyelle, her two kids, Lt. Col. Cage, Kuai Liang, Cryax and the rest of the half of the team that was split. Cyrax brought out a wrist saw blade to attempt to cut through, but made no progress at all.

Cyrax spoke "*From the other side* It is no use! It's too thick!"

Lt. Col. Cage spoke "*From the other side* Well this is a pretty pickle."

Sektor spoke "Cyrax, we are going to keep moving. With luck our paths cross somewhere ahead."

Cyrax spoke "*From the other side* Understood. The others are moving on. We should, too."

Kuai Liang spoke "*From the other side* Agreed. Come."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "But you forgot that the Bewilderbeast can break through even the thickest walls!"

The Bewilderbeast blasted the wall with ice, making it break.

But the wall reassembled itself as Metalicana took a bite, only to wince with a growl. "It's steel alright, and it can't even be eaten or frozen through. We have to get going and try to get back to the others ahead."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Even my mental maps aren't working since I can't get a good reading on this place... It's like a Changeling hive."

Igneel spoke "Don't worry, we'll be okay. Just make sure you guys survive too."

Amethyst spoke "Don't be an idiot though Igneel, you do realize that the Bewilderbeast is far slower on land than it is in water."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "*Sighs in relief* The portal's still here. The Bewilderbeast can get out through here."

But the Bewilderbeast rumbles at Nightmare Danyelle, insisting that it stayed to help protect her.

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "But you’ll have a large target on your back."

Bluestar spoke "That may so mom but you forget... the larger a dragon is, the less likely it can get back up if it's flipped onto its back."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "By itself, at least. Let’s go."

Bluestar spoke "Right."

We heard Nightmare Danyelle's group started to head off as our group started heading out too.

Ember spoke "Sorry we couldn't help much."

Lucy spoke "Even with the dimensional scream, none of us saw it coming."

Natsu spoke "I'm so gonna beat Havik next time I see him."

But then we stopped, seeing a purple portal open with a Reiko and a Li Mei coming out with Khaos Minions and Khaos Minion Dragons as Khaos Twilight, Khaos Flash Sentry, an alicorn stallion with some muscles as tall as her, Khaos Sonic and Khaos Tails arrived too.

Emperor Rain spoke "Handle the others, please. The Empress and Emperor are ours."

Khaos Pinkie spoke "We'll try to knock Twily and Flashy out."

"Ember and I will take care of the chaos faker and his little friend." I said as everyone started fighting the Khaos Minions and Khaos Minion Dragons while Khaos Pinkie, Khaos Cheese, Ember and I joined Emperor Rain and Empress Tanya.

Empress Tanya spoke "I am not surprised that you aligned with Havik. You'll do anything to obtain the power you crave."

Empress Li Mei spoke "Do not lecture us. You're no better! That is why you stole our throne!"

Emperor Rain spoke "We acted for Outworld, not ourselves. To free it from your corrupt regime."

Titan Havik spoke "*Through intercom* Fight!"

Emperor Rain, Khaos Pinkie and I started fighting Empress Li Mei, Khaos Flash Sentry and Khaos Tails with help from Empress Tanya, Khaos Cheese and Ember while Emperor Reiko, Khaos Twilight and Khaos Sonic helped the enemies before they soon knocked us down.

Empress Li Mei spoke "*As the three of us got back up* Now your rebellion ends."

We fought the trio of enemies again with our friends' assistance while our opponents had help from their three allies before we later knocked them down.

Emperor Rain spoke "*As the three got back up* You should have never held power."

The three of us fought them one more time with our allies backing us up while the three enemies helped our foes before we eventually beat them.

Emperor Rain spoke "You will never regain your power."

We heard fighting further ahead.

Empress Tanya spoke "That's Sektor and everyone else. We must help!"

Ember spoke "The others are fighting! Come on!"

Midnight spoke "Don't forget, I just watched you guys. I'll get to work on Khaos Twilight, Khaos Flash Sentry, Khaos Sonic and Khaos Tails. Go."

The six of us nodded as we moved forward, only to find ourselves...

Emperor Rain spoke "Merciful Delia!"

Khaos Pinkie spoke "Uh-oh!"

"Don't tell me we went around in a circle!" I growled.

Midnight spoke "*Wince!* I admit, they're tougher than I thought."

The six enemies were back up again, fully healed as Midnight was knocked back, having plenty of bruises as we realized we were back where we started the fight while Titan Havik laughed over the intercom.

Titan Havik spoke "Khaos manifests in myriad ways You will fight them again and again until you finish them. Only then... may you move on. Fight!"

Emperor Rain, Khaos Pinkie and I started fighting Emperor Reiko, Khaos Twilight and Khaos Sonic with our friends help while the opponents we fought earlier assisted our current ones as Midnight hung back to heal himself before we soon knocked them down.

Emperor Rain spoke "You will be defeated this time."

We fought them again with backup as they had help of their own before we later defeated them and their allies.

Emperor Rain spoke "I take no joy in what comes next."

Midnight spoke "*Better now* I better make it quick this time."

Midnight went over to the unconscious Khaos Twilight, Khaos Flash Sentry, Khaos Sonic and Khaos Tails before he started using purification magic on them faster.

Empress Tanya spoke "It is their lives or ours. You heard Havik."

Emperor Rain spoke "But I wish only to take his."

Emperor Rain held out his left hand, causing a whirlpool pillar to emerge underneath Emperor Reiko and Empress Li Mei, trapping them in the swirling waters as they gasped for air before Khaos Twilight, Khaos Flash Sentry, Khaos Sonic and Khaos Tails woke up with a gasp since Midnight finished using the purification magic.

Emperor Rain spoke "Put them out of their misery."

Empress Tanya readied her bo staff before twirling it in the air and swung it at Emperor Reiko and Empress Li Mei, beheading them while painting the whirlpool pillar red with their blood before it receded, dropping the two's lifeless bodies as Emperor Rain and Empress Tanya withdrew their weapons.

Titan Havik spoke "*Through intercom speak* Ahhh! Now that is a kill. Executed with such flair. You two, surprisingly along with your allies present, have earned my favor, and may proceed."

"Hmph. Guess we found the loophole." I scoffed as the the four Khaos counterparts looked around in confusion, freed from the brainwashing.

Empress Tanya spoke "I am so weary of his voice."

Emperor Rain spoke "As am I. Let us find Sektor and the others."

Khaos Twilight asks "What the... Pinkie?"

Several minions were trapped in ice.

Khaos Flash asks "What's going on?"

"No time to talk. Let's move." I said.

Empress Tanya spoke "Hopefully, Havik keeps his word."

The eleven of us continued moving forward, eventually catching up with the rest of our group as they beat all the enemies they fought, unharmed too.

Empress Tanya spoke "Thank Argus!"

Sektor spoke "The more who die, the more Havik sends. *Withdraws mask* I'll admit. I relish the challenge."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "{I'm not that kind of Mobian to run away with her tails between her legs!}"

"{Communicating from telepathy?}" I noticed.

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "{You can say that.}"

Titan Havik asks "*Over intercom* Are you prepared for the next?"

Emperor Rain asks "What now?!"

Titan Havik spoke "*Over intercom speaker* It is fiendishly simple. *As a wall slammed in front of our group, showing a metal locked door* To survive you must open that door."

The walls started to slowly, but strongly close in on us.

Emperor Rain spoke "Havik let us so he could crush us."

Sektor spoke "Step back!"

As we tried to push against the moving walls to no avail, Sektor flew at the door, trying to bust it open, failing.

Empress Tanya spoke "This is getting us nowhere."

Sektor spoke "The lock can be picked. *As a tool poked out of the right wrist of her suit* If there's enough time."

Sektor started to pick the lock.

Emperor Rain spoke "I will buy you some."

Emperor Rain chanted, shooting water at both closing walls.

Emperor Rain spoke "Tanya. If Sektor opens the door, go with her and the others."

Empress Tanya spoke "No! I won't."

Emperor Rain spoke "You must! I cannot hold these back much longer. I won't escape."

Empress Tanya spoke "Rain, I-"

Emperor Rain spoke "You need to survive. *As his mask fell down* Get Sektor's allies into the citadel."

Empress Tanya spoke "No! We vowed never to leave each other's side."

Emperor Rain spoke "Argh! We also vowed to preserve the Empire."

Sektor spoke "Hurry, everyone!"

Empress Tanya spoke "Every day, you remind me why I chose you."

Emperor Rain spoke "*Groans in pain* Go, Tanya. Please."

Emperor Rain started screaming as Sektor unlocked the door and grabbed Tanya before the two and everyone else escaped the room as I remained with Emperor Rain, deciding to make a gamble as I brought out the green Chaos Emerald.

Emperor Rain screams "AHHHHHH!!!"

"Chaos... CONTROL!!!" I shouted, freezing all of time around me, seeing a green light behind me as I threw out a ton of blood berries. This will fool Titan Havik for a while as I grabbed Emperor Rain and ran into the green light, teleporting out of the room as the two of us suddenly appeared in a different location of the Maze before I saw Nightmare Danyelle's group along with Kuai Liang, Cyrax and Lt. Col. Cage fighting Khaos Minions. I then deactivated Chaos Control as my eyes and right hand pulsed with red electricity with black goo swirling around my right hand before I fired multiple Doom Spears, killing the last of Khaos Minions as I caught Nightmare Danyelle's attention while Titan Havik was heard laughing maniacally over the intercom speakers, thinking Emperor Rain and I were dead.

Nightmare Danyelle asks "Shadow?"

"Had to make our own way out." I said.

Emperor Rain asks "I'm... alive?"

Nightmare Danyelle heals Emperor Rain's injuries.

Igneel asks "What was that?"

OC-verse Danyelle spoke "My universe's Shadow couldn't have been able to pull that off though."

“That’s because he’s never been here.” I noted.

OC-verse Danyelle's ears perk up suddenly, as did Warrior-verse Danyelle's ears.

Ears twitching, Nightmare Danyelle spoke "I hear something... As do two of my counterparts..."

A mare's voice was heard shouting "WE HAD A DEAL! YOU SAID YOU WOULD GET ME A NEW DRAGON SLAVE AFTER MY LAST ONE RAN AWAY!"

Nightmare Danyelle subtlety sent out a grapple beam of light before yanking it as she now held a small orb of light. “Her mind snapping really locked what little light she had away. I’m gonna keep this safe.”

Sonic whispers "But Nightmare, that was Fairyverse Twilight..."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "Probably because darkness from her Nightmare Moon crept into her spirit, corrupting it bit by bit."

Titan Havik spoke "*Laughs over the intercom* Find him yourself then, if you can."

The female voice roared in rage before flying off in a blur.

Khaos Rarity spoke "I think we should steer clear of that one..."

Nightmare Danyelle spoke "For once, I agree."

Grandeeny spoke "Same..."

Nightmare Danyelle and I heard a small soft female voice from the orb of light sobbing softly. “I’m sorry, Spike… I’m sorry… I’m so sorry…”

She and I could tell that was genuine as all of us started to move forward, walking.

Lt. Col. Cage spoke "These corridors go one and on like my old C.O. Damn, Major Blade could talk."

Cyrax spoke "I realized I have not thanked you for sparing me."

Kuai Liang spoke "*Scoff* Thank Harumi and Kiri. It was their request."

Cyrax spoke "I do not expect forgiveness. But I do expect understanding. The lies told to me-"

Kuai Liang spoke "*Takes off mask* How long have we known each other?! That you could ever believe-"

Cyrax spoke "You vanished! Without explanation. Bi-Han, my Grandmaster, gave me one. It made no sense, but then nothing about your departure did."

Kuai Liang asks "You blame me for your actions? Is that what you are saying?!"

Cyrax; No. I am saying I am… not a machine. I am human. And humans make mistakes."

Kuai Liang: *Puts mask back on* We will finish this later."

We then continued moving forward as Nightmare Danyelle and I knew this orb of light truly regretted and grieved for her actions, whose only ambition now is to be forgiven by those she loved and cherished.
