Life as a Sonic OC Redux

*Opaline's POV*

*Giggle* Oh, Pearl looks so adorable practicing her Stone Ocean powers.

Midnight was on his back while snoring as a back leg twitched.

I couldn't help but wonder where his childhood sweetheart was.

Hazel, Honeycrisp and Sunlight were at the school of Friendship since the three of them were teachers.

*Sigh* I couldn't help but feel jealous about that.

Midnight sleepspoke "Ugh no... I can't eat another bite...."

I couldn't help but smile as I gave Midnight a belly rub.

Midnight's tails wag a bit as he moaned.

Midnight sleepspoke "N-no Queen Elysia.... I didn't mean to kill Moonlit Mirage..."

That name caught my attention.

Pearl asks "Momma, what's wrong with daddy?"

"He's just having a bad dream, sweetie." I assured.

Midnight jolted awake with a roar.

Midnight spoke "Ugh... That's the last time I mix Beezlejuice and zap apple cider together before drinking it..."

I gently hugged Midnight. "Memories again?"

Midnight spoke "Yeah... Of our original home..."

As if fate would have it, both my cutie mark and Midnight's front claws were glowing due to a friendship mission.

"What is it now?" I asked.

Celestia and Luna soon arrive since their cutie marks were also glowing.

Celestia spoke "I think that map specifically called the four of us to a place lost to history... Skyros..."

"Oh..." I noted.

Luna spoke "Don't worry, mom and dad will fill in for me and Celly."

Midnight asks "But why the four of us?"

Celestia spoke "We're the only ones who know about the lost city of Skyros so we have to go."

I hugged Midnight again, from behind this time. "Don't worry, Nighty."

Pearl spoke "I wanna go too!"

"Sweetie, I don't know if that's a good idea." I worried.

Midnight chuckles "Curious cub."

"Don't encourage her." I responded.

Midnight chuckles "You know you love me Opaline."

“Oh, quit it, you.” I giggled.

Midnight boops me on the snout.

“Ooh-hoo-hoo-hoo, don’t make me get the rest of the mares and have all four of us go crazy on you.” I purred.

Midnight spoke "Hazel's still going through depression after what happened to her six months ago... You can blame the idiot Mew for that mess..."

“Is it really the best idea for her to be at the school in that state?” I pointed out.

Midnight spoke "She nearly killed Ein the day after the prank happened..."

Celestia asks "That bad huh?"

Midnight spoke "Afraid so Celestia, I don't think Hazel can even stand being near that idiot."

“She had that look in her eyes, she wanted to give Ein the ultimatum. She looked like she wanted to put a bomb in Ein’s brain that she can set off whenever she wanted to.” I noted.

Luna spoke "Bad idea though... It's enough that Janja's mom didn't even want him, Ein's too irresponsible to handle raising a kid so it's safer for Danyelle to raise him."

“But she really hit him low where it hurts.” I added with a giggle.

A very pissed two tailed Mew was chasing a screaming Ein.

Garnet shouts "GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE ****!"

Yikes, good thing my mother instincts kicked in as I covered Pearl’s ears, making sure she didn’t hear any of that.

“I tell ya, Nighty. One of these days, it’ll really come back to bite Ein in the butt and blow up in his face.” I sighed.

Luna spoke "Stupid is as stupid does."

Celestia spoke "On that and Ein’s karma, we can all agree on."

Luna giggles "You're one to talk sis, one of your nephews got the sit command."

Celestia spoke "*Giggle* Don’t make me challenge you again, Luna."

Luna spoke "I was talking about Inuyasha..."

Celestia spoke "*Playfully punches Luna’s shoulder* I know that."

Luna counters "And then there's Ryota, his love of cake is just as bad as yours is!"

Celestia spoke "Then what about Yuu? Her love of ice cream rivals yours!"

Luna spoke "You may have demons in your family but I have a lawyer for a son in-law."

The two sisters glared at each other before laughing together.

I spoke "We should get going ladies, it's a long flight to our original home."

Midnight spoke "And me."

I giggle "Right."

The four of us were soon ready to head out.

*One long flight and several stops later*

Midnight spoke "Well, we made it to Skyros but... I don't see any alicorns around."

Pearl was on her dad's back.

“They could be sealed away, in stasis or hypersleep. Let’s start looking.” I replied.

Midnight lets out a howl which rings throughout the place.

We then started sensing a ton of strong magical sources

Midnight spoke "Hehe, Twilight would lose her marbles if she knew about this!"

Celestia spoke "*Giggle* She’d definitely go into her “Twilighting” mode again."

Midnight spoke "But... these aren't the same alicorns as we remember from long ago..."

Luna spoke "Really? That’s odd."

Two male alicorn guards aimed their weapons at the five.

One of the guards asks "Who are you?"

The other guard asks "Why are you here?"

Celestia spoke "Both of you, calm down. We’re not here for trouble."

Luna spoke "Celestia, they don't know us though."

But then the two guards suddenly looked restrained by some kind of invisible threads.

Midnight spoke "Pearl no, we don't restrain guards."

Pearl pouted before the two guards suddenly gasped for air as they were freed.

An unknown mare spoke "Nightingale, Wild River! Stand down!"

A white alicorn with green eyes and a two-tone mane in light blue and cotton candy pink along with a matching tail was hovering in the air.

"Who are you?" I asked.

The mare spoke "My name is Fairy Floss, I'm the current leader of what's left of Skyros... Since most of the place got destroyed over the last 1111 years. The two bozos are Nightingale and Wild River, they're brothers."

Nightingale spoke "Hey!"

Fairy spoke "Just watch out for Wild River, his pranks can be a little on the crazy side."

Wild River spoke "*Deadpan* Seriously? I wanted to surprise them."

Fairy spoke "Stand down Wild River or I tell Ebony Moon about your crush on her."

Wild River spoke "*Blush* Don't even think about it!"

Ebony Moon? Why does that sound familiar?

Fairy asks "But why have you five come here?"

“We were called here for a reason.” I simply said.

Fairy spoke "The alicorns you knew are long gone. Nightingale, Wild River, Ebony Moon, Quick Shot, Blue Flame and I are the last six descendants of the former Skyrosian alicorns."

A sudden pillar of blue fire had exploded in the distance.

Fairy groans "And that's the bumbling idiot... Blue Flame... I strongly suggest you don't make fun of him since he and his younger twin brother are half demons..."

Celestia spoke "Trust me, I won’t, since I’m married to a demon myself."

Luna spoke "Not to mention... You got demons in your family Tia. I have Beastmen and Mobians in mine."

Blue Flame asks "Demons?"

Celestia spoke "My husband, brother in-law and one nephew are full demons. My other nephew is half demon, his daughter is 25% demon. My kids are half demon yet they have a greater alicorn's lifespan. My daughter in-law's a freaking hellhound."

Blue Flame "Who are they? I need to know."

Celestia spoke "My husband is Tama, his brother's called Toga. Then there's Sesshomaru, Inuyasha, Towa, Setsuna, Moroha. That's just my husband's relatives... I have four children, two boys and two girls. My eldest son is Ryota, eldest daughter is Crystal Clarity, the other two are Solar Jewel and Comet Chaser. From Ryota, I have two grandkids. From Clarity, one grandson."

Blue Flame spoke "Hmm… I see."

But then a message scroll appeared out of hellfire as Celestia grabbed it.

Celestia spoke "Oh, it’s from Loona, and it seems to be about one of her friends, and she’s named Gigi."

Luna spoke "But we can't help right now, we're on a mission here sis."

Celestia spoke "It’s not a request for help, she’s simply giving me a message. But if you insist, I’ll read it later."

A letter from Ryota soon arrived, stating that he was going to help Loona out.

Celestia spoke "I see."

Luna spoke "I guess we won't be able to find the alicorns that we remember..."

Somehow, I had a feeling otherwise. "Wait, is there anyone who would know the names Celestia, Luna, Opaline and Midnight?"

"An odd request, but fine. I'll look." Fairy responded before flying off.

Nightingale spoke "I doubt anypony of your era would still be alive."

"Hard to believe that since us alicorns can be pretty stubborn and secretive." I responded.

Midnight spoke "I didn't always go by Midnight Storm though, my birth name was Cloud Sweeper."

An unknown alicorn spoke "Girls! Midnight! You're back!"

Midnight growls "Who are you?"

That voice... Why does it feel so familiar?

Midnight continued to growl.

Celestia spoke "Wait, that voice sounds familiar to me."

Luna spoke "Same here."

"Midnight, please calm down, sweetie. Pearl's here." I said to Midnight.

Luna asks "Opaline, didn't he mention that the full moon causes him to lose control of his demonic blood?"

"Wait, what?" I asked in confusion as Luna pointed up.

Nightingale spoke "Well, this just got nasty... We can't stop him."

A portal opens up before Danyelle arrives with a demonic dragon male.

Danyelle spoke "I sensed something was off about Midnight while I was talking with Vaggie so I contacted a certain demon to help slap some sense into him.'

Surprisingly, the demonic dragon was bigger than Danyelle or any of us.

Celestia gasps "By my shining light... He's as huge as Wendy's dad!"

The draconic demon asks "Why did you bring me here?"

Danyelle spoke "Stars above Satan, I already told you that Cloud.... No, Midnight Storm has troubles controlling his demonic blood during the full moon."

Satan growls "*Starting to get angry* And why should I-"

An odd demon floated next to his shoulder.

The demon asks "Um, Satan, please take a deep breath. No negative energy in our mind temple, remember?"

Satan spoke "*Breaths in, calming down* Right, I get it."

Blue Flame was slack jawed.

Danyelle spoke "Thanks for coming along Yogirt."

Yogirt spoke "W-Well, I'm his therapist after all."

A sudden bullet whisked past Danyelle, clipping through her right wing and lodging in a tree.

An alicorn stallion asks "Why is there a strange cat here with a pair of demons?"

Danyelle yowls "Son of a *****!"

Again, good thing I covered Pearl's ears.

Blue Flame spoke "That's my younger twin brother, Quick Shot... He doesn't seem to like demons that much."

Luna spoke "That’s ironic since he’s half-demon."

Blue spoke "Long story short, a demon wronged him as a foal... And it was my fault..."

Danyelle kicks Midnight in the back of the head, forcing a major wake-up call.

Midnight groans "Ugh... Did I lose control again?"

Danyelle spoke "Almost."

Midnight spoke "I seriously need to get a weapon to help control my demonic blood..."

Satan spoke "Hmph, I’d ask Rodin, but who knows what the weapon will be or what it’ll be made out of."

Danyelle's eyes flash white, causing her and the others as well as myself to see what happened to the alicorns of ancient Skyros.

Some kind of magical explosion went off, scattering alicorns around the world as they all survived.

Danyelle spoke "Good news is, the ancient Skyrosians are alive. Bad news is, they're all scattered."

Midnight spoke "*Realizes something* That explains... *Chuckles* Everything! No wonder I sensed little to no magic in the place, and that it was crumbling apart with no one here knowing us. *Laughs* I really thought I was losing it!"

Danyelle spoke "Either way, Sparkle Butt is going to lose her marbles if we manage to bring back a lost nation of alicorns!"

"You feeling better, sweetie?" I asked.

Midnight spoke "Hmm... *Smirk* Almost."

Luna picked up Pearl and covered her eyes before Midnight swept me off my hooves, holding me and kissed me right on the lips with closed eyes as I kissed him back with my eyes closed too.

Midnight spoke "Now I feel better."

Blue spoke "Dude, that was so corny..."

Danyelle slaps Blue on the back of the head.

What Midnight pulled made me giggle. "Don't get me excited again just yet, Nighty."

"Everything okay?" I asked.

Midnight spoke "Something just happened but only Danyelle, Pearl and I can sense it."

Pearl looked around in curiosity.

Danyelle spoke "You're not going to believe this Midnight but I believe Korra just got her stand."

Midnight asks "Say what?"

Danyelle spoke "I'm her counterpart after all. it was only a matter of time before she got her stand... And by the sounds of things... She's got a four-piece stand that consists of the fire phoenix, the earth tortoise, the air tiger and the water dragon."

Celestia asks "Really?"

Danyelle spoke "I'm able to sense the emotions of others, which was a trait that my maternal grandmother had."

Fairy soon came back, looking confused. "I don't know why, but for some reason I'm sensing parts of these ruins scattered, like like hidden puzzle pieces."

Danyelle spoke "Good thing I know an alicorn who loves adventures, she might be able to help out."

Fairy spoke "*Glare* I'm not taking that chance."

Danyelle grabs Fairy by the neck as her eyes glowed.

Danyelle growls "You dare go against one of the Avatars?"

Quick Shot soon arrives.

Quick spoke "Queen Fairy Floss! We got MAJOR trouble! Ebony Moon has fallen sick!"

Fairy gasps "*Shock* What?!"

Danyelle spoke "*Lets Fairy go* Back in a second. *Leaves through another warp ring*"

Sonic immediately pops up with Cinderpelt, Spottedleaf, Featherwhisker and Gingerheart in tow.

Sonic spoke "Grandma! I brought one of my wives along with three other doctors!"

Luna spoke "Your timing couldn't have been any better Sonic, I was just about to contact you."

Danyelle suddenly reappeared from the warp ring she jumped into. “And I was just about to start looking!”

Spottedleaf spoke "It was Kuro who sensed something was off so he tracked me and Featherwhisker down. Bella was babysitting her two cousins when she sensed the same thing hence why Sonic and Cinderpelt were notified."

Danyelle asks "*Teasing* So, how's Vitaly?"

Spottedleaf spoke "Nunya business."

Cinderpelt asks "*Snacks on some fish sticks* Where's the patient?"

Quick Shot leads the four to Ebony's house.

We then heard Ebony coughing.

Featherwhisker spoke "Sounds like whitecough... If we don't treat it soon, it will get worse."

Gingerheart spoke "Good thing we brought plenty of herbs with us."

Cinderpelt spoke "Especially catmint since it works best for whitecough."

Looking at Quick Shot, Spottedleaf asks "Sir, how long has this mare been sick for?"

Quick Shot spoke "She was like this since noon today."

Gingerheart spoke "Lethargic... Constant coughs... Constant sneezing... Low body temperature... I fear her illness has just become greencough..."

Cinderpelt spoke "But since this hasn't lasted long, we should be able to help."

Featherwhisker notices white patches on Ebony's neck.

Featherwhisker spoke "Uh girls... And herm... Look at these patches of white..."

Cinderpelt spoke "Featherwhisker, come on. We can still help."

Spottedleaf spoke "Thank StarClan it's not yellowcough...."

The mere mention of the illness had caused Midnight to freeze up.

Midnight spoke "Now I remember what really happened to Moonlit Mirage... She had contracted yellowcough so I had no other choice but to kill her to stop the disease from spreading to the other alicorns..."

"That's what drove you into a rampage?" I realized.

Midnight spoke "You got it all wrong Opaline, that rampage I had gone through had saved the other alicorns since I didn't want to risk the yellowcough spreading. But Queen Elysia saw it as a flat-out murder..."

But then Danyelle suddenly got a message from Charlie about someone new at her hotel. "Huh, would ya look at that."

Midnight spoke "I doubt Moonlit would ever forgive the very monster who took her life..."

Danyelle spoke "Actually, Charlie mentioned in the message that Moonlit asked where you were, she was worried sick about you, Midnight."

Midnight spoke "But I just can't forgive myself for what I did to her back then!"

Danyelle spoke "I'm gonna give myself a little tour to look around."

Fairy spoke "Absolutely not!"

Danyelle spoke "I’m only gonna look for anything that can help."

Fairy spoke "I refuse to let those furballs go near Ebony! Guards, get the cats out of here!"

Satan spoke "*Glares* That won’t be happening."

Fairy spoke "YOU STAY OUT OF THIS DEMON!"

Danyelle brought out a bag of sleep powder before blowing a handful of it in Fairy’s face, making her fall asleep.

But the powder wore off too fast since there was glitchy black stuff on Fairy's body.

Danyelle spoke "Oh, you have gotta be kidding me."

Midnight growls "There's got to be a way to purify her!"

Danyelle spoke "There is, but it’s risky."

Sonic spoke "I hate to break it to you Danyelle but music won't work this time! Neither will Chaos Heal or Harmonic Heal!"

Danyelle spoke "There’s still one thing left to try."

Noe suddenly appeared. “I see what you’re doing. I’ll give it a shot.”

A blast of raw glitch hits Noe, sending flying far away.

Fairy spoke "I WON'T LET YOU INTERFERE!!!"

But then the right side of her face suddenly looked grieved by guilt as her right eye was back to normal for a bit. “Please… Help me!”

Noe suddenly reappeared.

Danyelle puts the telepathic call out to the alicorns in Ponyville along with Cadence, Shirou, Leilani and White.

Twilight pops up with her fellow alicorns.

Twilight spoke "We got your message Danyelle!"
