//-------------------------------------------------------// The White Demon -by Netap- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The White Demon. //-------------------------------------------------------// The White Demon. Prince Blueblood isn't to be taken lightly. He's not as soft as the other ponies that Celestia tries to raise. He's ruthless, cunning, and surprisingly well mannered when he needs to. He can also bash your brains in with a lamp and make the gruesome scene look like a suicide. Which is not what he's going to do right now. Prince Blueblood is on his way to get his money. You see, Being a prince without any actual leadership roles means you get a lot of money and not much to waste it on. So In his Spare time, The Prince decided to give out some loans to those who ask for them. All of them will be returned with a profit of course, You don't ask for money from the prince and just walk away with it. You give it back. Sadly, Some Ponies don't get that memo. They're raised on Harmony and love, They don't know that the real world, outside of the borders of Equestria doesn't work like that. And So the Prince is on his way to show somepony how the real world operates. With a simple Notice-me-not spell, The prince moves undetected through the city streets of Canterlot. Many will assume that the Prince doesn't know much about magic, His Cutie Mark is of Navigation after all. Well, The Prince graduated top of his class from Celestia's school for Gifted Unicorns. And he didn't need to bribe anyone to do so. And if you point how according to his cutie mark that makes no sense. Well. Blueblood will show them how to navigate their face into the pavement in record time. Passing quickly between alleys and corners, Blueblood reaches a door for a small house. Knocking on the door loudly, he awaits the pony inside to open it. What greets him is a small filly. Looking down at the filly, He's confused. Did he somehow get the wrong house? no, It can't be. Blueblood doesn't get lost. He Can't get lost! He's the worlds best navigator! Be it in the streets, in the wilderness, or in the political debate! "Little Filly, Is your father home? I need to speak with him." Blueblood asked the small filly, Who looked up at him in confusion. Who was this strange Stallion that is visiting her father so late at night. "No, Papa is at the drinking hole again, He won't be back till later." She tells him. "And What about your mother?" He asked, He needs to get this child away from here If he wants to do his job. "She's over at grandpa, She doesn't live with us anymore." So she lives alone with her father, The Prince can work with that. Taking out a small bag from thin air, he passes it to the filly. "Take this and go buy yourself something to eat," When the filly opens the bag she's a amazed to see enough bits to buy a full course meal at one of those fancy restaurants near the rich pony area. As she grabs the big of coins and prepares to leave, she's stopped when the stallion adds one more sentence. "Promise me you won't return until the clock at the center of town rings midnight." And with that promise from the filly, She takes the money and goes to buy herself food. Now with a little girl gone, Prince Blueblood can get ready for what he came here to do. An Hour after the girl left her home, A unicorn Stallion stumbles in to the house. His breath reeks of Salt of Hops. The drunk Unicorn stumbles around his living room before crashing on the sofa. "Honeydew, Bring me a bottle!" The Unicorn calls in to the hallway, expecting his little girl to bring daddy a bottle from his favorite collection. What he didn't expect was for a voice he dreads to call out from the kitchen. "Nice house you have here, Dewdrop, I really like the floor plan on the bedrooms." Dewdrop starts to tremble in fear, "And is this table a real mahogany? I wonder how you could afford that..." As the voice inches closer, Dewdrop is frozen in fear, stuck to his couch. The slow tapping of hooves on the tile wood floor behind him make his mind scream to run away, to get as far from this monster, this Demon as possible. But his body just won't move. "You know who I am, right Dewdrop?" The demon whispered in his ear. He nodded. "You know why I'm here, right Dewdrop?" The demon started massaging his shoulders trying to get him to relax, to calm down. He nodded. It was toying with him. "So where is it?" The demon stopped his hooves right around his neck, What would seem like a perfectly normal thing for an actual masseuse to do has been forever tainted by the sheer horror emanating from Dewdrop's body as the demon hold his life in his hooves. "I- I-" Dewdrop can't get a word out, he needs to run. He spots the door, It's still open from when he stumbled in. He has a shot. "I can't hear what your saying Dewdrop. Where is my money?" The demon holds him in place, If he wants to get out of here, He's going to need to run for it. "I'm only going to ask this one more time." Dewdrop tenses his legs. "Where-" He focuses his eyes on the target, "Is-" He listens to the breathes coming out of the demon behind him, "My-" And with the little magic he has, Dewdrop creates a splash of water in order to disorientate the demon. He runs towards the door, Towards freedom, Towards safety. And just as he reaches the exit, The door slams shut in his face. "Did you really think that was going to help you, Dewdrop?" The demon says calmly, slowly walking towards Dewdrop, who is down on the ground, holding his nose in pain. He's dead, He can't do anything. "You asked for a Loan of twelve thousand bits, Your payment was due four months ago." The predator slowly stalks towards his prey. "If you couldn't pay me back, you should have simply told me." The demon in white said as it loomed over the Dewdrop's body. "It's nothing personal, Dewdrop." The Prince said as he grabbed Dewdrop by the legs and dragged down towards the hallway. "Please! I'll get the money! I'll do anything, Please, Don't kill me!" Dewdrop begged the demon to let him go. The demon continued to drag him. "I'll get the money, I promise! Please! I have a daughter!" The Demon paused. Dewdrop breathed a sigh of relief at the white monster no longer dragging him. Before the small sliver of hope that dug its way into his core was evaporated by the bone aching kick to the lungs. "You knew the deal Dewdrop," Prince Blueblood spoke neutrally as he prepares for another kick on the downed stallion, "You knew you had to pay me back, Dewdrop." Another kick lands on the unicorn. "You knew this would happen, Dewdrop" The name leaving the demons mouth felt like venom, Like a curse that shouldn't be said. Dewdrop cried as The Prince, The demon that loaned him money almost a year ago, kicked his downed body like a he was kicking filth off of his shoe. And Dewdrop was filth. How he treated his Wife, How he treated his Daughter. All the money that remained after buying the house went to bottles of spirits. And with another kick, Dewdrop lost consciousness. Drinking tea wasn't the most preferable past time for Blueblood. But when the Princess that has ruled the nation for more than a thousand years wishes to speak with you, You come speak with her. Pushing towards him a newspaper article, The Ruling Alicorn simply raises an eyebrow as she looks at her nephew. Looking at the headline, Blueblood reads, "Stallion found dead at home, Drunken Suicide." With a picture of the house he was at the night before. "The deceased, One Dewdrop, hanged himself in his bathroom late last night. He was discovered by his daughter who came home later that night. More on page 18" Pushing the newspaper back to Celestia, Blueblood takes a sip from his cup. The knowing look shared between the two royals and the conversation that followed is something that will never leave that room. But know this, If you owe The Prince in any way shape or form, He will recieve his Payment. Or you will be meeting with The White Demon.
