Prisoner

Nyx raised her Wakizashi blades in the air and observed about nine hundred thousand troops charge toward her and her three hundred thousand infantry. Her troops formed the front ranks and files and were to absorb the first onslaught. Behind her were stationed one hundred thousand archers and artillery soldiers. The remaining three hundred thousand calvalry were about seven furlongs and trying to reach the field. Nyx looked behind her her and saw Tempest and Zipp joined by Rainbow Dash and Captain Celaeno nod their heads. "Fire!" Nyx screamed and brought her blades down. arrows and rocks filled the clear blue spring skies.

Nyx was nicknamed 'Battle Maidan' by Princess Luna and Tempest Shadow because of her aptitude for battle and planning. "Damn the scout for not returning!" Nyx thought as she became aware of another vanner appear on a crest behind thr charging enemy. Quickly she told an aide to tell Tempest to be ready to pull out of the field. Nyx sent word to Zipp and Rainbow Dash to each bring thirty-three thosuand to join her troops and be ready to flank the enemy. She was annoyed thwt she was having to wait for so long to lead a charge. The Saddle-Arabian and Yak-Yakistan alliance had gained about three fourths of the valley. Zipp and Dash sent word that they were in place. "Charge!" The three hundred sixty-six thousand troops met with the enemy and the fighting was fierce and Nyx was severing heads and limbs. Nyx dodged a spear and an arrow was imbedded into the eye socket and its victim screemed as Nyx ripped the arrow out and plunged it into the warrior's neck; the artery that was pierced spewed blood and the warrior writhed on the ground. Nyx shrugged and kept fighting. The awaited Calvalry charged the field and at its head was Luna and behind her wer the other element bearers. Nyx suddenly froze and yelled retreat chrging the field with Yak-Yakistan hrodeswad Sombra and he was killing eveyting in his path.

Nyx remembered that with two of the princesses on the field she had no real authority now. Luna however began to pull the troops back. Nyx didn't know why Luna let her keep her command but she assumed that it was trust and the fact that they lost most of their troops in the intial charge. The Calvalry lost half of its force in their charge because archers had been waiting in an ambush for them. Sheathing her Wakzashi blades Nyx picked up a two-handed long sword and charged alone. Blood and intrils covered the ground where Nyx made her final stand, that is until an arrow pierced her armor and chain mail crumpling she dropped the long sword. Drawing her Wakizashi blades again she kept fighting. The warriors stepped back and Sombra and0 Prince Rutherford of Yakistan stepped up and attacked her. Rutherford fell as his neck was severed and Sombra took this openeing and plunged a dagger into a small space between the armor plates. Nyx crumpled and tried to stand. but only to get kicked down. Nyx stood up after a few tries and now holding the long sword.

"Damned bitch! just die already." Sombra yelled and as he raised his sword above his head for the death blow Nyx swung the long sword and severed Sombra in half. The nearest general...Sombra's son ordered to have Nyx taken alive.

"By the way...you will call me Lord Eclipse." Nyx woke up and found herself in a dungeon cell and medics tending to her wounds. "Glad you are awake...what is your bame?"

"Lieutenant Nyx sir" Nyx said as she tried to kneel before bowing in pain and falling to the floor.

"Intriguing...your respect to me the son of a man who tried to kill you."

"Lord Eclipse...sir...my life is in your hands and respect is due to you for your social status and rank. I was just a soldier given orders and giving them out."

Lord Eclipse told a general to get information from Nyx and looking at Nyx he said, "We will see soon enough what you're like as we torture you for intel....and it will be pleasureable to break you." Nyx feared the worst, then Eclipse yelled from the top of a flight of stairs leading the dungeon, "We won't touch you like how Yakistanians would have!"

Nyx was left alone in the dungeon and occasionally her wounds were teneded to. Once they healed the torture began. The enemy began with lack of food and minimal water and beatings from hickory switches. Nyx wouldn't break so it became physical blows. The guard in front of Nyx smiled sadistically as he slammed his fists into her abdomen and ribs; the guards got mad that their toy hadn't broken yet and they veganto target her face as well. The blows didn't help her ignore the pain of being chained to the ceiling by her wrists and her feet barely touching the floor.

"Just fucking kill me already! You know that I won't talk!" Nyx screamed one night as she lay on the floor bruised and bleeding from the being hit by fists with rough leather wrapped on them.

"We will not kill you...yet." The guards knew Eclipse wasn't in the castle to stop them. "Tell us the strength of the armies of your princesses!"

"You killed the majority off a few montsh ago" was Nyx's reply; the guard lifted Nyx further off the ground and used a Morgerstern with very short and yet sharp spikes and beat Nyx with it. Nyx hit the floor andbhad her arms tied behind her back.

"I grow weary of this...I haven't held a girl for a few montsh and you'll have to do. Prepare to be thoroughly raped!"

"Eclipse said I won't be touched."

"Well he ain't here to stop us!" Painfully Nyx lifted her battered body high enough tobuse her legs and body weight to snap a guard's neck. The other guard angry that it wasn't going to be easy picked up a heavy wooden staff and slammed it into Nyx's torso. All Nyx heard before blacking out was the voice of Lord Eclipse
