Blueblood reluctantly arrives to stay for a few days in Ponyville to oversee the making of his first crown. In the meantime, Twilight Sparkle and her friends all invite him to a few parties to get used to Ponyville life and change his attitude but Rarity does not approve of this. Arguments and fights ensue and the two of them don't get along quite as well as planned.
