Sombra's Attack on Twilight

In Canterlot, Cadence managed to determine where Sombra had taken Twilight.

"He has taken her to a cavern in the Crystal Mountains. Chances of her reaching us alive at this time are very low, because there is a snowstorm going on.", she reported.

Flurry Heart suggested putting together a rescue crew to rescue her, and Cadence agreed. The plan stated that Flurry would pilot a snow vehicle and put Twilight on board. Brandon and Colin would wait aboard Colin's ship, the Eclipse, and then bring the snow vehicle on board with winches and then Twilight would be placed in a healing tank.

As Twilight ran through the shadowy hallways of the cave, she broke a laser that set off bombs in the entrance. The ceiling fell in and blocked her means of getting out. Before the entire hallway fell down, she turned around and ran back. She grabbed a piece of rebar that was just laying on the floor in case she had to defend herself. Sombra came storming down the hall and shot a blast of his magic at Twilight. She was prepared for the worst and put up a shield to block the attack. As Sombra was charging up another surge of his magic, Twilight swung the metal rod and broke his horn off, smashing it to pieces. She then grabbed a piece of hot charcoal from a stove and burned Sombra's eyes, blinding him. She was now ready to end Sombra's life.
