The Christian Fleet had helped Equestria take down past villains, including Emperor Grogar. King Sombra's horn had been sealed in a crystal and shot into a black hole in space. Little does anyone know that the black hole has exploded and the crystal has landed on Equus. Sombra may be able to return and wreak havoc across the globe. Does he have a target? If so, who is it and what are his plans? //-------------------------------------------------------// Crowning Attempt //-------------------------------------------------------// Crowning Attempt When Twilight woke up, she was in a cold dark room and shackled to a black crystal that stuck up from the floor. The only light came from a flickering torch. Sombra came in with a crown made of the same crystal that Twilight was chained to. "I have chosen you to be my queen, Princess Twilight.", he said in an evil voice. Hearing this made Twilight mad and she spat in Sombra's face. As he tried to place the crown in her mane, she leaned sideways and resisted. Sombra became angry and tried to force the crown onto her head, but she used her alicorn magic to push back on the crown until it eventually popped out of Sombra's hooves and shattered against the wall. Becoming furious, Sombra decided to try hypnosis, but Twilight shut her eyes and resisted that as well. No matter what Sombra tried to use on Twilight, she found a way to resist "THAT DOES IT! IF I CAN'T USE MY ABILITIES TO FORCE YOU TO BE MY QUEEN, I'LL JUST HAVE TO INDUCE PAIN TO REACH MY REAL GOAL!", Sombra roared. "What's that supposed to be?", Twilight hissed. "I plan to use you in order to expand my lineage." "I highly doubt that you will achieve that.", Twilight spat back. "We shall see.", Sombra cackled. //-------------------------------------------------------// Escape //-------------------------------------------------------// Escape Searching for a quick way to escape the cave, Twilight saw a window and jumped through, sliding down a snow-covered slope until she touched solid ground. Although, she knew that she was not out of the woods yet. If she didn't get the lacerations on her back closed up, she was going to bleed out and die. She did not know where she was in Equestria because a snowstorm was going on. She found an old backpack buried in the snow and discovered that there was a compass inside. When she saw that the needle indicated north was behind her, she began running with all of her might. After running for an hour and a half, her muscles were fatigued and she collapsed from exhaustion and fell face-first into the snow. TO BE CONTINUED: Author's Note Twilight has killed King Sombra and escaped from the cave where he was holding her. However, he has partially achieved his goal and gotten her pregnant. Is she going to die from blood loss, or is she going to be rescued? Also, can the foal be removed before full-term? //-------------------------------------------------------// Capture //-------------------------------------------------------// Capture As Twilight was getting acclimated to her role as the highest princess of Equestria, a bolt of black lightning shattered through the window and grabbed hold of her. She screamed for help, and some of the Christians heard her yell. Brandon took off on his flight harness and gave chase to catch her. Unfortunately, this mass of energy had a will of its own and shot a blast which damaged the wings. Luckily, Brandon caught a sample of the energy before pulling his parachute. "LET ME GO!", Twilight shouted as the energy mass continued carrying her through the night sky. She ended up getting a nasty shock from the mass and she passed out. As everything went dark, she heard an evil voice come from within the mass. "This is payback for taking me out during the war.", the voice cackled. Twilight couldn't believe her ears. This entity was none other than King Sombra. She tried to send a distress call, but it ended up garbled and hard to understand. Back in Canterlot, Cadence had set up a temporary command center. Flurry Heart picked up Twilight's call for help, but had trouble making it out. "Listen to this. Aunt Twilight is trying to tell us what has happened." "Anyone who hears this, pl-as- c-me -o my a-d. K--g S-mbr- h-s re-urn-- s-me-ow. I d-n't k--w wh-t -e p-an- to do, b-t it ca-'t be g--d. L--k on my si--al a-d c-me f-r me be--re i-'s t-o la-e." Brandon was so startled, he almost jumped out of his skin. Link went pale as a ghost. "What's going on?", Cadence asked out of confusion. Flurry listened to the message again and everything fell into place. "Mom, I think I know what she was saying.", she said as she wrote down her interpretation of the distress call. When Cadence read the interpretation, she screamed at the top of her lungs. "Anyone who hears this, please come to my aid. King Sombra has returned somehow. I don't know what he plans to do, but it can't be good. Lock on my signal and come for me before it's too late." //-------------------------------------------------------// The Attack //-------------------------------------------------------// The Attack After zapping Twilight into unconsciousness, Sombra carried her to another part of the cave and chained her to another crystal with her eyes facing the wall. When she woke up, her wings were tied down so she couldn't fly. She heard the sound of metal rattling and then the sound of something whistling through the air. Before she had a chance to piece everything together, she screamed as nine sharp pieces of metal slashed against her back. Sombra was whipping her with a "cat o' nine tails". After what seemed like hours, Sombra stopped swinging the whip and sloshed saltwater on Twilight. The salt burned the cuts like acid and Twilight screamed in AGONY before passing out. When she regained consciousness, she had a piece of fabric tied in her mouth, she was lying on her back, and she had a sleeping mask over her eyes. She felt something slimy move in between her back legs and suddenly realized what was going on. She remembered that Sombra had said he was using her to extend his lineage, and he was not joking. Struggling to free her hind legs, she pulled as hard as she could while Sombra tried to hold her down. Eventually, she broke the shackles off of her hind legs and kicked Sombra in the mouth. She used her alicorn magic to take the mask off of her eyes and then she kicked Sombra backwards into the wall. She pulled her front hooves free and then used her magic again to remove the shackles from her wings. In a rush to get away, she bolted through the door and then started looking for the way out. //-------------------------------------------------------// Fighting Back //-------------------------------------------------------// Fighting Back In Canterlot, Cadence managed to determine where Sombra had taken Twilight. "He has taken her to a cavern in the Crystal Mountains. Chances of her reaching us alive at this time are very low, because there is a snowstorm going on.", she reported. Flurry Heart suggested putting together a rescue crew to rescue her, and Cadence agreed. The plan stated that Flurry would pilot a snow vehicle and put Twilight on board. Brandon and Colin would wait aboard Colin's ship, the Eclipse, and then bring the snow vehicle on board with winches and then Twilight would be placed in a healing tank. ** As Twilight ran through the shadowy hallways of the cave, she broke a laser that set off bombs in the entrance. The ceiling fell in and blocked her means of getting out. Before the entire hallway fell down, she turned around and ran back. She grabbed a piece of rebar that was just laying on the floor in case she had to defend herself. Sombra came storming down the hall and shot a blast of his magic at Twilight. She was prepared for the worst and put up a shield to block the attack. As Sombra was charging up another surge of his magic, Twilight swung the metal rod and broke his horn off, smashing it to pieces. She then grabbed a piece of hot charcoal from a stove and burned Sombra's eyes, blinding him. She was now ready to end Sombra's life. //-------------------------------------------------------// Killing Sombra //-------------------------------------------------------// Killing Sombra As Sombra was trying to get his bearings by using the sounds around him, Twilight shot a blast of her alicorn magic at him and destroyed the darkness within him. However, this was not enough. He still tried to catch Twilight and corrupt her, but she had other ideas. She grabbed several blades and pinned him against the wall. As the pain began to overtake him, Sombra managed to get words out that frightened Twilight. "You are too late. When you were blindfolded, I shoved my reproductive organs into yours and released semen. By now, there is the possibility of an egg being fertilized. Even if I am killed, my lineage will continue once you give birth." Angered by this, Twilight grabbed a large knife and stabbed it through Sombra's throat, killing him instantly. She was relieved that his dark magic was finally destroyed, but now she had to find a way to get rid of the foal that he had impregnated her with. As Sombra's body turned to dust, the rest of the cave began to collapse, trapping Twilight in the room where she had killed Sombra. If she didn't get out, she was going to die.
