New Girl

Wynter Storm stood at the entrance to Canterlot High. It was her first day at the school, and she was super nervous. She had bright blue hair that flowed down her back and skin that was as white as snow. Her eyes were just as blue as her hair and just as bright. She wore brown boots, cropped blue jeans, a white T-shirt, and a denim jacket. Wynter had her backpack slung over her right shoulder, which she gripped with all of her might.

Wynter Storm’s family had just moved to Canterlot. She was just entering her junior year of high school. Wynter’s freshman and sophomore years had started out kind of rough, but she eventually made friends and settled into a routine. Then her father got a new job and the whole family had to move. Wynter didn’t feel like starting over at a new school, especially when it came to making new friends.

Wynter took a deep breath and let out a sigh. “Alright, you can do this.” Wynter thought to herself. “You made friends during your freshman and sophomore years at your old school. You can do it again at this school.” Wynter opened the front door and stepped inside. She was immediately greeted by a girl with poofy pink hair who wildly shook her hand.

“Hello there! Welcome to Canterlot High! You must be the new student! My name is Pinkie Pie and I have been assigned to show you around on your first day! What’s your name?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“My name is Wynter Storm, with a Y.” Wynter replied.

“Wow, what a very pretty name!” Pinkie pie said with a smile. “Come, let me show you to your locker.” Pinkie Pie then took Wynter by the hand and led her down the hallway. Wynter struggled to keep up.

When they reached Wynter’s locker, Wynter opened it and put away her backpack. After taking out her binder and closing the locker she and Pinkie Pie were approached by a girl with rainbow colored hair.

“Hey Pinkie Pie, who’s this?” The girl asked.

“Hi Rainbow Dash! This is Wynter Storm, with a Y. She’s the new girl here and I’m showing her around.”

Wynter smiled and shook Rainbow Dash’s hand. “It’s nice to meet you.”

“Nice to meet you too.” Rainbow Dash said. “So, are you into any sports? We have a lot of teams here at Canterlot High.”

Wynter shook her head. “No, I’m not really into sports. I do practice a lot of yoga though.”

Rainbow Dash smiled. “Great, so do I! Maybe we can practice together sometime?”

Wynter smiled slightly and brushed back her hair. “Yeah, that sounds great.”

“Well I have to go to class.” Rainbow Dash said. “Have a nice day.”

After making sure that she had all of her supplies in her binder, Wynter continued walking down the hallway with Pinkie Pie. Soon they came across two girls walking and talking together. One of the girls had blonde hair and white freckles. The other had purple hair.

Pinkie Pie waved to them. “Rarity! Applejack! I was just looking for you two! This is the new student at school. Her name is Wynter Storm, with a Y.”

Wynter extended her hand. “Hi, it’s nice to meet the both of you.”

Applejack shook Wynter’s hand. “Howdy! And welcome to Canterlot High. I’m Applejack, and this here is Rarity.”

Rarity shook Wynter’s hand. “Charmed to meet you darling.”

“Applejack’s family owns a farm, and Rarity is a fashion designer.” Pinkie Pie said.

“I haven’t been to a farm since I was a little girl.” Said Wynter.

“We’d love to have you over sometime.” Applejack said with a smile. “My family makes the best apple products around. Apple cider, apple pie, apple butter, you name it we make it.”

Rarity walked around Wynter, eyeing her all over. “And I’m working on some new fashions for the season that would be perfect for you.”

Wynter blushed and smiled slightly. “Thank you. I very much appreciate that.”

Rarity and Applejack continued on their way as Pinkie Pie resumed showing Wynter Storm around the school. They soon came across a girl taking a backpack out of her locker. She had pink hair like Pinkie Pie, except it was lighter in tone and more straight.

“Hello Pinkie Pie, who is this?” The girl asked in a quiet voice.

“Hey Fluttershy! This is the new girl at school, Wynter Storm with a Y. I’m showing her around on her first day.”

Wynter smiled and shook Fluttershy’s hand. “Nice to meet you.”

Fluttershy shook Wynter’s hand back. “It’s nice to meet you too.”

Wynter then noticed Fluttershy’s backpack moving around. “Um, why is your backpack moving?” She asked.

Fluttershy opened up her backpack and a white rabbit poked its head out. “This is my pet rabbit Angel Bunny. I like to bring him to school with me.” Fluttershy explained. “I absolutely love animals, that’s why I work at an animal shelter.”

“Oh that’s cool. I have a fish tank at home. I would love to get a cat or a dog, but my mom is allergic.” Wynter said.

“I’m sorry to hear that.” Said Fluttershy. “Perhaps you can volunteer at the animal shelter with me?”

“Sure, that sounds great.” Wynter replied.

Fluttershy then continued on her way. Pinkie Pie led Wynter around the school, showing her various rooms such as the library, the gym, and the cafeteria. When they reached the science room, Wynter saw a girl inside working with numerous chemicals. She had purple hair with a pink streak going down the middle.

“Twilight! Come meet the new girl!” Pinkie Pie called out while waving her hand in the air.

Twilight walked over and smiled. “Hi! I’m Twilight Sparkle. Welcome to Canterlot High.”

Wynter smiled and shook Twilight’s hand. “Thank you. My name is Wynter Storm, with a Y.”

“Twilight was the previous new girl here at Canterlot High.” Pinkie Pie said. “She used to go to Crystal Prep, but then during the friendship games she…”

“Pinkie, I don’t think Wynter has time to hear all of that.” Twilight said. “But trust me, you’re going to love it here. Canterlot High is a great school.”

“From what I’ve seen so far it sure is.” Wynter said. “The other students here have made me feel very welcome.”

“Well, friendship is one of our main priorities.” Twilight said.

Wynter and Pinkie Pie left the science room and continued on with their tour. Wynter liked the girls that she had met so far. They were all very friendly, and it seemed like they had a lot in common. Wynter knew that she would have no problem making friends here.

And that’s when Wynter saw her. The girl with hair like fire. Looking at her made time stand still for Wynter. Wynter could feel her heartbeat increase, as well as a tingly feeling in her gut. She was the most beautiful girl Wynter had ever seen.

“Pinkie Pie, who is that?” Wynter asked as she pointed at the girl.

“Oh that’s Sunset Shimmer. She’s very popular around the school. Let me introduce you to her, I’m sure you two will get along great.” Just as Pinkie Pie was about to call out to Sunset the bell rang and everyone headed for class.

Wynter was disappointed that she couldn’t meet Sunset yet. As she followed Pinkie Pie to her first class, Wynter could not help but stare at Sunset’s backside. “Such a sweet ass.” Wynter thought to herself.
