What are you? Are you an entity inside a fleshy body that had no end? Or maybe are you a being built on a weak fleshy object that once destroyed you cease to exist? These ideas come from people of different backgrounds, either could be right, but either could be wrong.
This is a story of a huge group of souls, a group wanting to live one last time before their end. Because like energy souls cannot cannot be created or destroyed, only changed. All souls are changed into blank slates, empty of anything, these souls did not want this. So they did something unheard of, they created life anew for themselves, and joined into one massive soul.
This is the Story of Lost Moon, the Pony who is little more than a child filled with knowledge of the souls before her.
Slowly an eye opened alone in a cave, devoid of any memories. The eye was a rainbow of changing colors, never staying at one, sometime it was pink others it was white or even black. The mane was a blank white with no texture or color just like the coat of the pony. It, no she had a horn and a pair of wings. She was little more then a filly. Maybe only 5 years old, and she was alone.
She looked around with blank emotionless eyes, eyes no child should posses, but here she stood no emotions.
Her eyes darted around confused, She could not speak, she could not think. She only acted on base instincts, these years would be hardest for this little mare as only two years later she would be found dirty, bleeding, dying.
Though that is the future this is the present, she wandered around this vast jungle known as Everfree forest. Her life had become very simple, Find food or hunt if needed, find water and drink. Protect her cave from anything that tried to take it, while flee from greater threats.
For two years she survived this way, she had survived off the land, build her home and and her possessions. She built a sword from knowledge of a Blacksmith, a cave house with logs she cut down and skills she gained from the rest of the knowledge. She was by far the most omni-competent pony in existence, she had so much knowledge and experience in her head.
A Year before she is discovered she finds out how to create Gunpowder but decides to ignore, she knew all the uses and what she could make she ignored that knowledge in favor or swords and spears.
She had no much knowledge from the thousand of souls within her she did not need to gain much more, and she never fought powerful foes.
Time skipped again and a few months before she was found she discovered Oil, she also ignored it after learning of the crazy things she could build. She had knowledge from souls of different universes apparently, not just this one.
She walked back home with those blank emotionless eyes, she was not interested in cool things as other ponies would be, she was only interested in knowledge and surviving. She had no emotions to back anything with, she was a blank canvas untouched by anything.
She found no joy in living or any joy at all, it was just how it was. She accepted she was alive, and she would stay alive. This would be the end of that.
Twilight and her friend had gained an alert from the Cutie Map, The pony gang rushed to the castle when they gained it they had already did the first mission and knew what was happening.
When they arrived they saw all their marks plus Celestia's and Luna's above the Everfree Forest but not where they would have assumed for Zecora, it was in the very center.
Rainbow's eyes bugged out, "Bu- What?!"
Twilight's eyes looked at it thoughtfully, "Apparently somepony lives there, but how and why do they need Friendship?"
Fluttershy was now in the corner shivering, "B-but t-the m-monster!"
Celestia and Luna flashed into the room that very moment both wearing a confused expression. "What is thy issue?" She looked at the map and blinked once before her eyes widened. "Sister that is the very center! It is more dangerous then the outer rim! Who would possible live or even survive that location?!"
Celestia's eyes were also wide but less so then her sisters, "Good question, though we must search for who we need to help."
Applejack looked at how far it was, "How though? That's a good a hundred miles of dense forest, there no telling what's located in the forest that deep."
"200 Actually." Everypony looked to Pinkie who said nothing else after that.
"Right, 200 miles of dense unpopulated jungle, how will we cross that?!" Twilight screamed angrily, her wings fluttering by her side.
Celestia looked at her Ex-student and sighed, "We have an Military Airship, we will use it, it has enough storage for months of food and supplies. Why it wants us though is what is bothering me."
"Dunno." Pinkie shrugged in a very uncaring manner, she was not acting like the Pinkie we all know and love. No she was very serious,
Celestia nodded, "Meet me and my sister at the Castle, we are going to discover why they want us."
The ponies nodded before the two princesses teleported away. Then all the eyes landed on Pinkie, or where she just was. "What was tat about?" Rarity asked.
Twilight shrugged, "She was so serious it was so odd, well prepare for a very long trip Spike will be staying with my parents."
It took a day for the ponies to get ready and arrive to Celestia's Castle, they entered without any issue, the Throne room had only 5 ponies.
Celestia, Luna, General Striker, General Ironshot, and General Cidercake. All were looking at a map of the Everfree attached to a table.
"This is where it pointed us to." Luna pointed to a small but visible Cliff face on the map near the center. "This is likely the Ponies house, if we go there we must be careful, two dragons live in this area." She circled the majority of the center. "They are highly aggressive and will attack on sight, these Dragons are feral not sane like the ones in Dragon Lands. They are the Oldest of their kind to be banished from the country."
The three Generals nodded, Twilight looked at the map, "Can we go in a path that would not bring their anger?"
"Again they do not think, they act, these are the very dragons ponies fear not the ones in the Dragon Lands. We will not encounter them and if we do we will flee or attack." What no pony knew the pony they were searching for had already slayed the dragons for the hoards, she was only 7.
It had been days since they started their flight across the Everfree everything was smooth, but they noticed how the forest was burned under them, it looked like a huge battle happened only a year ago.
Tree's was uprooted, huge craters, but the thing that disturbed them the most was the Skeleton of a huge Dragon, it was nothing but a white Skeleton.
The Ponies were in shock, while Celestia and Luna looked more at the warzone, "Magic."
Luna nodded at Celestia's voice, "Yes what could that mean?"
"A Unicorn attacked the Dragon and won." Luna's eyes widened.
"How sister?!"
"We will find out soon sister, we have arrived to the location of the map." She pointed her hoof into the far distance to the cliff face.
Lost Moon or how she called herself, I, was currently tending to her crops, she had cleared a large portion of the forest to make a Farm.
Farming was the easiest way to gather food, as long as it did not freeze. Her eyes darted away from her Farm and blinked with her cold eyes, She looked in the direction of the Ponies and blinked once, then looked away uninterested. She continued her farming, unbothered or caring about the ponies on the Airship.
When they got closer something inside her stirred, something awakened, just like when she fought the Dragon but this time it was peaceful. Something new unlocked in her brain, a new feeling. She was confused, that is what unlocked, this was the first time she felt anything other than blankness.
The Canvas had just been colored on, now it was only a matter of time for the canvas to be filled.
Her rainbow colored eyes blinked as she looked up to the Airship. She said nothing, she knew how to speak and how to preform it, she just never had a use to speak.
She just waited.
"Ma'am we found a small filly located next to that farm, she is entirely white, its so odd, she has no other color. That's not the truly weird thing, she is an Alicorn." Celestia's eyes widened at hearing her guards words.
"Are you sure?" The Guard nodded. "Okay get everypony ready for a conflict just in case we found the killer of the Dragons."
"B-But miss, not even you and your sisters could defeat the Dragons how can you beat her?"
"I will have to try for my ponies sake."
Lost moon was watching the 20 ponies land in front of her, she had no visible reaction, her eyes only focused on the swords and armor they had felt a little disappointment.
"Hello My little pony why are you here?" It was the tall white pony with a flowing rainbow mane an tail, she was the leader or one of them.
"Surviving." Her voice cracked but she ignored it as she had not used it ever, even though her voice was blunt without a hint of emotion
"Why?" Asked the purple alicorn.
"Alone, peaceful, learn." She spoke three words that conveyed her thought. She wanted to be alone to keep the peace while learning.
"Why not join ponies?" The White alicorn asked.
She started to feel a little agitated, "Nosy, no trust, fear." Again exactly what she thought about that subject, Ponies had no trust for her so they always get in her way to find out, when they do hey may fear her. She met ponies before, she just kept to her self more.
"Okay. We were sent here to help a pony who had Friendship issues. " The Purple Alicorn said.
Lost Moon downright scowled, "Friends cause pain, I will have no part in them." The first time finishing a sentence. "Leave you disrupt my peace, I have indulged your interest enough." She waved her hoof dismissively, she then walked back to her farm uncaring. That was until she felt a hoof on her shoulder.
"Woah, No need to be so uptight right? Why are you in such a dangerous place?"
She scowled, "After this question I will leave, I like nature. Now leave!" Her voice was tense.
White Alicorn eyes shot wide open at what was hidden behind that voice, power, power unlike anything she had felt.
"Let us leave."
"No!" The ponies all stared at Pink pony in shock, "She has no emotions at all! Look at her! She is like a stone, only one color!" Again they looked and saw what she meant even if she sounded angry her face was blank and emotionless. Her eyes were missing the Spark of intelligence ponies had.
Purple Ponies' eyes widened, "You wanna learn right?" The fillies ears perked up, "So you do? Why?"
"Knowledge will bring me what I lack... I wish to feel like other ponies, I wish to understand why ponies love and feel... I wish to understand everything..." She looked into the sky, "I wish to know where all my knowledge comes from, I wanna know if it can be useful, I know so many things." She looked at her own hoof, "The only thing I do not understand is myself." She looked at the ponies, "That is why I wanna learn."
"Then learning away from ponies will not help you, if You wish to learn about ponies you must be around them." Purple pony had a point,
She looked to her farm, to her cave house, "Can I return home? I ... I like it here..." She says in a whisper.
White Alicorn nodded, "Yes you are free to return, do you need help packing up?"
"No... Keep stuff here, Can build everything easily again, portal will be hard to build..." She mumbled softly, "Smelter will be hard, hum, so many things to build." She grumbled.
Celestia nodded, and led the filly to the Airship, she was very reluctant.
The Airship left the Farm unattended for 2 days?! Uhh im reading the Script right, yes? How?! What you bastard, what about spoilers?!
