Rarity surface from behind the curtain with a neatly folded pile of what was going to be my costume for tonight.

Rarity busied herself after casting the costume over my body. Carefully pulling my wings, hooves and my head through the proper holes in the fabric. Muttering as she did. She asked me if it was too tight or too loose at several points before she surfaced, winding up the tailor’s tape.
“And for the finishing touch.” She said proudly, pulling a bejewelled hair stick from her hair. Her ringlets cascaded down, bouncing to a stop over her shoulders and framing her face. She combed my long hair with her hoof, plucking out stray leaves and twigs before spinning my hair around the bejewelled hair stick. “This will keep your mane out of your face all night long. It’s one of my favourites.” It was a very Rarity accessory.
“What’s the matter, Flutters?” Rarity battered her long eyelashes at me as she slipped into her own costume. Even the ripples of fabric were seductive as if she was putting on a show for my eyes. Rarity strutted to the mirror to apply her autumnal eye eyeshadow.
“I almost forgot the most important part of your costume. Come here.” She smirked.
I walked towards her, padding lightly on the tips of my hooves. Trying not to trip over. Rarity wrapped her arm around me, raking me closer. Her other hoof pressed against my chest and trailed down all the way to my marehood. I gasped at the forwardness of her touch, but my gasp was lost as Rarity’s lips crashed against my own. “I’ll quickly fix your hair and my makeup and then we can depart.” My girlfriend smiled innocently over her shoulder at me. “What would you do without me, Flutters?”
I HATED Nightmare Night, but I appreciated my girlfriend sewing a costume for me. I did occasionally try the festivities with my friends. There were some seasonal traditions that I liked, like decorating my animal sanctuary for customers and raking the autumnal leaves.
