Threats to the family

As the girls talked and laughed about Rainbow's new look and her mate, the detective sat in the cell and grumbled about being arrested when he was so close. He didn't know why his partner was taking so long to come to his aid. But his concern would be short-lived as a pair of glowing eyes appeared in the shadows of his cell.

“Where were you? I could have used your help out there.” The detective huffed.

“I had a few… ponies to prepare for.” The shadow replied. “Besides. I only promised that you'd be reconnected with him.” It laughed. “Now it's time to pay your debt.”

The detective blinked in shock before stumbling back in shock. “What do you mean?”

“I need your body to get the other elements to take action.” It laughed as the shadows surrounded him blocking his view from anyone else.

Rarity glared at the shadow pony as he stood over her. “While my magic prepares the next part of my plan. I'll give you a choice. Give up your element and power. Or your sister will get her cutie mark as a slut.”

Rarity huffed and glared at him. “How dare you demand such things from me.”

“Oh? Is that because you know the outcome?” He laughed. “Face it. Either choice you decide, I will have your element. The only question is… will your gift or sister be a part of the deal?”

Rarity collapsed and started to cry as the shadow turned away laughing, deciding to give her time to think it over while he prepared the other parts of his plan.

With a smile the shadow went over to Applejack's cage and smiled at her twitching body. “I wonder. have you reached the point where you'll do anything I say for more dick? Or do you think there'd be a chance to get away?”

“I… Haven't… given up… yet…” Applejack panted.

“Oh? How about this then? Hand over your element, or your little sister will take your place as a breeder.” He laughed.

“You wouldn't dare.”

He laughed and shrugged. “Well… I can be convinced to keep the boys off her. If you swear on your element to obey my every command.”

Applejack hung her head as she thought about what to do. Looking up at him she bit her lips as another male got into position. She had a feeling that she was going to break any minute now. And the only way she will be able to protect her sister, was to obey him.

The stallion turned to the front door with a smile. “Good girls. And very soon, your sisters will arrive and you'll be able to take part in one of two big plans.” He laughed.

Back in the dungeon, a white stallion made his way down the hall as the guards simply stood there like nothing happened. He stopped and looked closely at one of the guards sniffing his breath for a moment. “Dragon fruit…” he mused before turning to the cells. “I see…”

After a few moments, he arrived at the cell he was looking for and sat and glared at the wall of shadow. “You came…” it hissed.

“Yes. And I'll give you one warning. Stop.”

The Detective's head poked out of the shadows with ink like smoke flowing from every hole. “Oh? What would you do if I don't?”

Taking a deep breath the white stallion stood with his eyes closed for a moment. The moment his eyes opened, the detective froze And hid back in the smoke. “next time… I won't be so gentle.”

The detective gulped as he pulled back into the shadows. “We'll see if these ponies actually need your interference. Or will you break your own rules to stop me?”

The stallion huffed and turned away and made his way down the hall.

A guard standing in the prison sighed as he watched the only door out before glancing in on the detective before spitting at him and turning away. “Maybe the princess will be cool with me kicking his flank a bit.” He paused and rubbed his chin. “or maybe letting the guys blow off some steam would be good… probably hard watching those flanks all day without some kind of relief.”

He glanced back into the cell and froze in shock at seeing a ball of black smoke. “What the hell? Where'd that come from? I thought magic didn't work in there!” He frantically looked around for an answer and when he looked back in the cell… it was empty.

With that, the guard fled as he shouted the cell was haunted.

In Ponyville, Scootaloo, Applebloom and Sweetie Belle sat in the park as Diamond Tiara smiled at them with demented intent as some colts with blank eyes surrounded the trio.

“I tried telling you countless times how things work.” Diamond sighed. “And now with the help of my mother's new friend. I have the power to put you in your proper place and show you your true purpose.” She raised a hoof and waved to the others, motioning for them to start.

Without hesitating, the colts charged at the CMC leaving little doubt about their intentions.

Scootaloo jumped into a defensive position between the colts and her friends and snarled at them. “Don't even think about it.” She snapped.

Diamond laughed and turned to leave. “I'll be back later when the boys are done with you.” She laughed before stopping as her eyes glazed over for a moment before frowning and turning back to them. “On second thought. You guys can play with them on the road. We have to get them packed up and on the road.”

The girl's eyes widened in shock and fear as black smoke started seeping out of the colt's body.

One hour earlier, Spitfire passed out orders to the members of the Wonderbolts before turning to Soren and Flash Sentry. “Sorry for calling you away from your work, Flash.”

“It's ok Mam. If it involves Twilight and her friends, I'm sure Shining will be fine with it.” He replied with a salute.

Spitfire took a deep breath and sighed. “Sadly it does. Several of the elements have gone missing. And I have a feeling their families in Ponyville will be the next targets. So the three of us are going there and protect them.”

“MAM!” The two stallions confirmed before the three took off.
