The girls sat as they looked over their notes before Pinkie froze. Noticing their friend's sudden change of interest the others looked over at her in concern. Pinkie looked up with a look of concentration.

"What is it, Pinkie?" Twilight asked.

"Twitchy tail."

Hearing this everypony in earshot dove for cover. And any that saw her tail or the others dive for cover did the same. That is all but Pinkie herself.

"Pinkie! What are you doing? Didn't you say that a twitchy tail means that something is going to fall?" Rarity asked in shock.

Pinkie nodded and smiled. "That's why I'm looking for it." She replied as she wobbled back and forth in her seat. "I can't wait to see what it will be."

The girls looked at each other for a moment before slowly crawling out and looking up in time to see something fly past and within moments of Twilight taking notice… got slapped in the face with a scroll.

Twilight groaned and picked up the scroll and unraveled it. "Wait." She gasped in shock as the others looked over. "It's from Rainbow! She's alive!"

"What's it say?" Applejack asked.

Twilight took a deep breath and read it out loud.

Dear Friends:
Don't worry. I'm safe. So don't worry about me. Focus on finding the killer. Speaking of which. I noticed something about those pictures. Something that should be there but isn't. If needed. Tell the princess to contact me in my dreams. Before I forget. Can you leave some Daring Doo book out unattended with some cider?

The girls laughed as Applejack nodded. "If Dash is fine. I reckon we can leave a barrel of cider out for them."

Twilight nodded. "And there are a few books that came out. I'll put them in a bag with the cider."

"Then let's do it and clear the yard so her friend can pick them up and see if we can't find what she did." Rarity added.

The girls nodded and after informing the guards to get the things and not let anypony to go into the yard, they went inside. Unaware that the messenger was watching from the shadows.

Once the field was cleared he slipped out and sniffed the items they put out. Looking around it carefully took the barrel and bag before flying off.

Fluttershy smiled as she looked out the window and turned back to join her friends as they passed the news to the princesses.

Rainbow paced back and forth as she tried to think about ANYTHING but what she had promised. "I can't believe I said that. What was I thinking?" She groaned. Taking a deep breath she sighed. "Who am I kidding? If it meant letting them know I'm OK. I would have said anything."

Mini Dash sat on her back thoughtfully. "Well… he did seem like he was happy to hear you're interested in doing that for him."

"I thought you're supposed to be talking me into doing good things." She huffed looking back at the mini. "Why are you trying to talk me into doing something like that?"

"You can always back out and leave the poor guy with blue balls." The mini pointed out.

"Or you can kill two birds with one stone and lift your tail for the guy." Bat Dash laughed. "That would definitely get him to like you."

"Or cause the poor guy to question if you're really ok." Mini pointed out. "If you really want to get close to him. You need to play it cool. And not rush things."

"Good point." Rainbow sighed. Looking to the mouth of the cave she sighed. "It's just a blow job… right?"

The mini flew over to Bat Dash and the two shared a look as Rainbow looked over to them hopefully. "Right?"

The dark stallion made his way down the street as he looked around as if nothing was wrong. He calmly looked around at every possible target. "So many pathetic fools in this town." He laughed quietly. Looking around he considered who would be a good pick for breeding and who would be better for food. There were so many good looking choices. But he had to be careful on who he should pick. Then again. He can always arrange for one of those pesky mares to be 'attacked'.

He smiled at the thought and looked at the castle. "Now that's an idea. I'll need to let my friend know… or maybe it'll be best to do this on my own." He laughed and made his way down the street.
