After her defeat in Canterlot Chrysalis is transported to a location unfamiliar to her. Not only is she in a cave that she doesn't recognize. But she's in a world that doesn't feel like her own.

That however might not be a bad thing. Magic is not a thing in this world, and the emotions of these beings are even more potent than that of those ponies. But Chrysalis finds her mind slowly shifting in a strange direction.

Why does she feel the need to stalk these creatures like prey? Why does she enjoy the sounds they make as they die? And what is this emotion even more intoxicating than love?
