As he came to a halt at a crosswalk, looking both ways before he crossed the street, something odd caught his eye.
Kneeling on the opposite side of the road was a mare - a rather exotic mare. Seeing her fiddling with the wheel on her stroller, with what looked like several bags of groceries resting beside herself, he scrunched his nose.

“Because a proper toast, which this would clearly be, should be done with wine,” she responded, pushing herself up. “Come, I have a bottle of waini at my apartment.”
