The young archaeologist was presenting the site to the Equestrian Archaeology Department. Recently they had discovered the lost city of New York. Most ponies knew the tale of the great city that disapeard due to the spoils of war and greed. Equestrian mythology pointed the existence of humans was fiction. But not anymore. "This here is an advanced communication device." The young equine held in his hoof a black rectangle. Our Unicorn specialists have been able to reconstruct this wonderful peace of Human engineering to its former glory." A unicorn assistant walked up and used it horn to turn on the device. The image of an apple appeared on the screen.

"There are many functions on this device that cannot be used. We believe they had an advanced network that connected their world. We can access video and photos of what this device had stored." The video then played.
"Hey guys its me Robert. Recently our apartment has been over run with European troops. Were just glad the Russians or Chinese weren't here. They would be much more harsh to the civilians." Robert walked outside to see tanks rolling down the street. Troops marching in formation near NYC City Hall. The american flag was lowered and the flag of the European union flew high. Just then the sound of screams filled the air as a mushroom cloud could be seen near Ellis Island. Debris flew everywhere and the camera turned black. "From the data we have gathered we believe that they destroyed themselves in some sort of mass extinction.

The meeting soon ended. That night below ground at the sight Pickaxe a young archaeologist was walking around the ruins of New York. He walked to an abandoned building labeled Cryonics institute. Inside were many skeletons. The Nuclear fire had melted most of the ice that preserved these humans. Some had just damaged the ice but still left no possibility of reviving the human treasure inside. One sample was fine. Before pickaxe stood a Human. Perfectly preserved. He had Blonde Hair,Blue Eyes and wore a pitch black uniform. On the patches labled Zachery Gutburg. Two patches were on each side of the arm. One was a tricolour flag with Black,Red then yellow in that order on his right shoulder. To the left a flag with a blue field and 16 stars as seen in the video Pickaxe presented.

Later that day a team of royal guards took the frozen chamber to the library of Twilight Sparkle. If anypony could unthaw the human it was her. Twilight opened the door to the royal Guards. There stood the guards,Pickaxe and the frozen speciman. "Mrs.Sparkle the Equestrian Archaeology Department has sent us to show you this specimen of a creature frozen solid in ice. Do you Know any spells that could unthaw him?" Twilight stood amazed she never before seen a speciman like this before. She heard of the research going on in Manehatten but didn't think they would find a human this perfectly preserved. So well preserved that he could be revived. "Well I may have a spell or two that could possibly unthaw this human."
