Anon at the Olympic Games
the day I broke the 10 second barrier
There I was... I finally did it... I did qualify myself for the Olympic Games. I enter the Olympic Stadium of Canterlot, dressed up like a 100 meter sprinter does. Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Spitfire managed to qualify themselves into the finals already. Let's see how I will do. I get into the starting blocks as Scootaloo gives the "on your marks" command. My mind completely focused on the race. Rainbow Dash and Spitfire came close to break the 10 second barrier. That means I have to run fast now.
"set" Scootaloo says and I get into the "set" position. A few moments later, the horn goes off. I leave the blocks as fast as I could, feeling the speed in my face after I rise my body after 15 meters. I don't see anypony in front of me which means that I'm leading the race. 50 meters are past and I'm running at about 26 mp/h. 20 meters later, I start do decelerate automatically (no one can keep up the speed constantly over the 100 meters, not even legends like Carl Lewis or Usain Bolt)
but I manage to win the race.

I managed to qualify myself for the finals. I'm reliefed that I did it.
"you managed to get close to the 10 second barrier as well Anon" Rainbow Dash says in a surprised tone. "I didn't think that a human can run that fast."
"I thought the same. But I don't think you will break the 10 second barrier" Spitfire responds.
"well in my world, people can run the 100 meters in under 10 seconds" I explain.
"nopony can do this Anon..." Applejack mentions. "you can try but don't be disappointed if you don't make it"
"what's the record in your world?" Spitfire asks.
"9.58 seconds" I answer.
"you must be lying" Applejack groans. "how is a human able to run the 100 meters in 9 and a half seconds?!" the farm pony asks.
"just be Usain Bolt xD" I say jokingly. "but seriously Usain Bolt did set that record"
a few hours later, I get called by Rarity to come over in order to prepare for the finals.
"Hello darling, I see you're excited about the finals!" Rarity says.
"well I am, so why did you call me over? I assume it's important" I ask in confusion.
"well Anon since it's the 100 meters finals, I've made a dress for you. Well actually I did two but the other isn't finished because in the case you make it in under 10 seconds." Rarity explains.
"Rarity dear I really appreciate your effort but I'm not going to wear that during the race because I need to run really fast you know?" I explain. "but I Pinkie Promise that I will wear it after the race, no matter what."
"that's okay Anon, anyways you should prepare for the finals." Rarity says.
"Oh my goodness!!! I gotta go! I'll see ya' after the race" I shout whilst I run over to the Olympic Stadium.
now that this thing is done, I only have one more task to do. Running the 100 meters in under 10 seconds.
"well here it ends all" Rainbow Dash says.
"I'll make you eat apples!!!" Applejack shouts and chuckles after.
"you might be fast but I did set the fastest time in the qualifying." Spitfire explains.
"tzzz... I'll finish this in under 10 seconds. Good thing I'm wearing track spikes" I mention.
"no wonder why you're so fast!!! you're cheating!!!" Applejack yells.
"nope... I looked into the rule book before the games and the rules say that everypony is allowed to wear track spikes, even humans" I explain.
"I don't need track spikes to win" Rainbow Dash says confidentaly.
"we're not allowed to fly dash" Spitfire explains.
I laugh at that statement. "well I do fly. I'm not really flying but I touch the ground less than I don't know... 3-4 seconds" I explain with a chuckle.
"so are you flying or not?" Spitfire asks in confusion.
"I'm a human so nope... Unless I use a plane" I answer with a chuckle.
then it finally happens... Scootaloo is the starter again.
"on your marks" I get into the blocks and prepare myself for this race.
"set!" Oh my god... this is it!!!
then the horn goes off and I blast away from the starting line faster than everpony on the track. After 20 meters, I'm already a meter ahead of Spitfire, but Rainbow Dash catches up as well as Applejack does. But I keep accelerating. 50 meters passed and the gap between me and Applejack has increased slightly. 70 meters passed and at that moment I kniw that I'm going to win but what will the clock show? I cross the finish line in 1st. place, Applejack is 2nd, Rainbow Dash in 3rd and Spitfire in 4th.
Results:
1st. Anon: 9.95
2nd. Applejack: 10.07
3rd. Rainbow Dash: 10.13
4th. Spitfire: 10.20
"NO WAY!!! NO BUCKING WAY!!! I DID IT!!!" I scream out.
"HOW DID HE DO THAT?!" Rainbow Dash yells.
"He just shattered the Equestrian record!!!" Applejack notes.
"wow... I must say that was a great race Anon. I must say I'm impressed. You are the first in Equestria to run the 100 meters in under 10 seconds." Spitfire says.
"thank you everypony... it was... a... tough race" I say whilst panting in a proud tone.
a few minutes later, I go over to Rarity to get my special dress for the victory ceremony. on the jacket, it says: "NEW EQUESTRIAN RECORD!!! 9.95 seconds"
"it's beautiful Rarity" I say
"thanks dear" Rarity responds. "congratulations for becoming the first ever... you know what I mean to run the 100 meters in under 10 seconds"
"well, thanks Rares. I still can't believe I did it" I squeak.
"Anon, it's time for the victory ceremony" Rainbow Dash calls.
"I'm coming!!!" I shout and say goodbye to Rarity after getting my dress on.
so, I have done it... 9.95 seconds over the 100 meters... my biggest dream came true.

this story kinda represents what happened at the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City. Jim Hines ran a time of 9.95 seconds back then and became the first person ever to run the 100 meters in under 10 seconds.
