I was there.
I was there before thought. Before words had any meaning. I was there before the light from the sun began to grow, spreading around the planets like a weed. I was there before the darkness that appeared before the light.
I was there before there was nothing and I was there before that nothing began to form life. I was there before time before life and death and all the other gods after it.
I was there, and I watched.
I watched as the universe began to expand and grow. I watched as little balls of light began to appear all around me one by one. I watched as over time planets began to form becoming more than the empty rocks they once were. They had a purpose now and that purpose was creating things known as life forms. Beings that rapidly aged and die before I can even blink, and yet I found myself drawn to them. Like a moth to a flame.
Then they appeared.
Little life forms along with the very gods began to worship.
I was there as those very same beings that they loved and cherished demanded sacrifice to satisfy their never-ending ego. The thing called control leached onto them before they could take their very first breath, and it corrupted them. Turning them into little puppets that are ruled over by their pleasure instead of their people.
I watched.
I watched as over time the gods began to die only to create more gods to rule. Yet their prison did not change. Instead, it only grew with each new life form that looked up to them.
Yet soon something else began to form. An aspect that some gods couldn't resist.
War.
I watched as millions marched on the battlefield for their god or another meaningless purpose before dying in droves. I watched as daughters and mothers who survived the battle were taken in and raped for days or even years before being granted death. The sons who tried to resist and or fight back against those who try to take them away from their families were killed and hung up like cattle.
I watched as entire kingdoms enslaved their enemies before forcing them to work until the day they die. I watched as the very gods who demanded that they go to battle simply disappear as their people grew weak. I watched as new regions formed with some going as far as Justifying cruel acts as a command by their god.
I watched. As the three tribes began to form within the pony race. Only for a chaotic god known as Discard to appear and rule over them for thousands and thousands of years. I watched as harmony itself began to create a physical form for itself to bring balance to the universe. I watched as Harmony choose two sisters of pegasus blood to bare its power.
Only to curse them with eternal life.
I watched as the three beings did battle. Only for peace to come out on top. I watched as the being's discord tortured and bestowed upon each of the sisters the title of princess.
Yet it did not stop.
I watched as ponies starved to death because they couldn't afford the necessities they needed to survive. I watched as over time one sister became jealous with rage and turn on those who once loved her. I watched the very same sister kill and torture her subjects while the other refused to fight her. It was only when the elements forced their hand did the carnage stopped.
Yet it didn't stop.
I watched as a mother was forced to give up her foal before deciding to take her own life.
I watched a pony who had a title commit acts against those weaker than him.
I watched someone murder a filly and walk away because his mind was corrupted by poison in his drink.
A King enslaved his partner because she no longer had feelings for him.
An entire nation invaded the land and forced the inhabitants to dig for good.
A gang killing a family because the husband was forced to owe a debt.
A group of kidnapped fillies and colts are forced to become something else. Something darker.
It.
Never.
Stops.
So I stepped in.

It was around nine-thirty when reports of screaming coming from inside a house were reported. However, it was apparent to those around the area that the folks inside that home had problems. The type that involved a lot of screaming and yelling with the occasional physical violence from either party. What made things even sadder was that a small colt who ponies had barely seen also lives inside that home. The only reason they knew this was the occasional crying of someone who sounded too young to be either of the couples.
As police ponies forcibly enter the home due to valid safety concerns the sight that waited for them wasn't pleasant.
The two married ponies were found on the floor in a state that words couldn't even begin to describe. It was something both beyond words and your deepest darkest image.
Close to the couple was a colt. He was light brown with a blonde mane and tail. However, the very first thing that they noticed about him was the chains around his hooves.
Chains covered in blood.
Only it was his blood.
The poor colt was abused. The scars that littered his body as well as the smell of someone who hasn't showered in months made it all too clear.
However, as one officer began to approach the colt looked up. His mismatched colored eyes shined with a twisted sense of excitement.
"Do you wanna meet my new friends?"
The officer's reply was replaced with screams as something large emerged from behind the colt
Faces.
It had so many faces.

Nothing hummed lightly to himself as he exited his home. Wiping the blood from his eye the colt began to march down the street. As he did so the ponies around his house began to call out to him.
(Their fault)
Something from within his mind echoed and Nothing agreed.
It was their fault.
It was everyponies fault.
As he thoughts this a portal above him opened. What walked out were beings made out of the little nightmares in his mind.
The ponies around him screamed, only to be silenced as something louder screamed back.
(Make them pay, make them all pay)
Nothing smiled.
Sounds like a plan.
