My Little Pony: Screams of the Dead
Sataurday. The sky was bright and clear. It was a perfect day. Or at least it should have been. On what should have been a normal day where ponies should have been hanging out, and children playing was instead a day filled with sadness, and sorrow.
About a week ago Apple Bloom had gone missing. She didn't report the school despite her family claiming that they had seen her leave. Soon a full fletch search was contuced to find the lost filly, and only a few days ago the search had ended in tradgedy. Apple Bloom's mutilated body was found in the Everfree forest by some trees. It was a gruesmoe sight. Her bones were all broken, her neck was snaped, and her eyes were gouged out. It didn't take an experet to know that the child had been murdered, not just murdered, but tortured, and then murdered.
Now today was the day of her funeral. It had to be a close casket funeral do to the state of Apple Bloom's body. All of her friends and family were in atendece to the funeral, and they all had different reactions. Scootaloo didn't speak, she was in shock after finding out what had happend, Rainbow Dash was angry and wanted to know who was responsible. Fluttershy quietly weapt as she looked at the coffin. Pinkie Pie's hair was deflated, her pink color was all gone as she knew that this meant that Apple Bloom would no longer be able to attend any of her parties, or play with her friends. Sweetie Belle was inconsulable, and just cried loudly into Rarity's chest as the older unicorn tried to sooth her little sister, though she too was crying. Meanwhile Twilight Sparkle wanted all of this to just be a bad dream, she wished that none of this was real, and she'd wake up and Apple Bloom would be playing with her friends. But that couldn't be the case. Twilight looked at Spike who was also crying, and hugged him. Other ponies at the funeral included everyone in Apple Bloom's class, Starlight Glimmer, Sunburst, Cadance, Shinning Armor, Thorax, Ember, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and even Discord were all there. Everyone in Ponyville had come out to pay their final respects to the lost filly. However Twilight couldn't help but notice something. While Babs, and the other memebers of Applejack's family seemed sad and we're crying Twilight couldn't help but notice the looks on Applejack, Big Macintosh, Granny Smith, and Braeburn's faces. They seemed devoid of any emotions, no sadness, no sorrow, just expressionless. However Twilight assumed that they we're all just in shock, after all the youngest memember of their family had been brutally murderd by an unknown killer. Still Twilght had a lingering feeling in her head that she just couldn't shake off.
"Twilight"? Twilight was taken out of her thoughts by a voice. She looked up to see Starlight staring at her with Princess Celestia. "Are you okay"? Starlight asked.
"Oh yeah". Twilight replied "I'm fine, I'm just kind of in shock like everypony else".
Princess Celestia nodded. "This sort of tradgedy would cause most ponies to go in shock so I complety understand. It was then Twilight began to cry.
"Why would anypony do this"? She asked. "Apple Bloom was such a sweet, and innocent child. How could anypony be so cruel"! Princess Celestia sighed.
"Unfortunetly that is a question I don't have an answer too".
Twilight turned around just as Mayor Mare walked up to begin the Funeral Service.
"Good day everypony". She began. "I wish we could have all come together on a happier occasion, but unfortuently that is not the case as today we say could by to one of our own. The little filly Apple Bloom". Mayor Mare wiped a tear from her eye as she continued. "We all watched Apple Bloom grow up with her friends, and tackle many tough challanges. The toughest of course was getting her cutie mark, and I think we all felt very happy happy when she, and her two friends Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo finally suceeded". Everypony smiled as Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo looked up as Mayor Mare gave them a small smile. "Would anyone like to say anything about Apple Bloom". She asked as she looked around.
"I will". Diamond Tiara spoke up after a few minutes. She then walked up to the poduim, and cleared her throat. "Hello everpony my name is Diamond Dazzle Tiara. I was a classmate of Apple Bloom's in Ponyville Schoolhouse. Now the first days we've known each other we didn't get along. I will adimt I use to make fun of her and her friends for not having cutie marks". Diamond Tiara admited, that earned her some shocked gasps from the others. "I know". she sighed "I've done some horrible things that I deeply regret, but despite everything I've done to them Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo offered me friendship even when I didn't deserve Apple Bloom didn't hold it aganist me. Apple Bloom was always such a fun, and kind filly. I'm going to miss seeing her smiling face when she comes to school, and greets everypony". Diamond Tiara finished as she was about to get back to her seat she heard the other ponies giving her rounds of aplauds having been moved by her bravery to admit what she had done, and how she learned from it.
"Thank you Diamond Tiara". Said Mayor Mare. Anypony else want to say anything?
Soon other ponies went up to say things about Apple Bloom, until finally Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo went up.
"Hi". Sweetie Belle greeted sadly. "As all of you know Scootaloo, and I were Apple Bloom's best friends. Together we we're known as the Cutie Mark Crusaders. We, we would". Sweetie Belle found it hard to speak as her emotions were beginning to overwhelm her so Scootaloo took over.
"We met Apple Bloom when all three of were still blank flanks". She began. We felt that having a similar goal of getting our Cutie Marks brought us closer. After so long, and many attempts of trying All three of us finally got our Cutie Marks as we learned are special talent was helping out other ponies with finding their special talents. It was a passion all three of us take very seriously, and I know that Apple Bloom would want Sweetie Belle, and I to continue to help other ponies". Scootaloo finished.
By this time Sweetie Belle was sobbing uncontrolabley and Scootaloo comforted her as they walked back.
After everypony had spoken the funeral continued. It was midnight by the time the funeral was over, and Twilight, Spike, and Starlight returned home.
"I'm gonna take a shower". Starlight said as she walked to the bathroom. Twilight sighed and turned to Spike.
"Are you okay"? She asked. Spike nodded.
"I suppose, I just can't believe somepony would do something so horrible to Apple Bloom, I mean I know she sometime got into trouble, but she was so kind and caring". Spike ranted.
"I don't know why anypony would do this either Spike, I just don't". Twilight replied. Spike looked down sadly before speaking up.
"Um Twilight"?
"Yes Spike"? Twilight asked.
"Can I stay with you tonight"? Twilight smiled.
"Of couse Spike". She told him. Spike smiled and grabbed his bed, and brought to Twilight's room.
"Goodnight Twilight". Spike said.
"Goodnight Spike". Twilight replied. Twilight then turned, and tried to go to sleep, however she couldn't stop thinking about what happend to Apple Bloom. The fact that anypony would murder a filly, and even torture her made her sick to her stomach.
"Don't worry Apple Bloom, I'm gonna find the son of a bitch who did this to you, and I will bring them to justice". Twilight vowed before going to sleep.
