Chapters New Lunar Republic - Uprising
"T'was a stressful day today Tia." Luna stated tired from all of the meetings she had with her sister. She normally didn't wake up until Night, but she had to wake up early afternoon for some 'emergency' meetings. She was hoping for a nice early mornings sleep, but she knew that would never happened, because her sister was to 'perfect' to raise the sun a little earlier. She always had to be on time, and never at all fun. Just like before Luna was banished. Anyway, it didn't really bother her as she was used to sleepless 'nights', and being the Princess of the Night and all.
"Yes, it was Lulu,", Celestia said using her younger sister's nickname. "But we have most of them done now, and I'm sorry for waking you so early to help with the meetings. It's strange why they were reporting ponies for apparent rebellion. None of my guards have reported anything, but now the civilians are. Luna have your guards reported anything of the sorts?
"It is alright Tia and no my guards have not reported any activity of that and I would love to stay and talk about the topic, but I best be going off to rise my moon," Luna informed, breaking her old language 'habit', whilst hugging Celestia then walking off towards her tower quickly whilst saying, "Have a good night sister."
Celestia just acknowledged her goodbye and replied with her own usual goodnight and a little bit suspicious over her behaviour but decided to ignore it and went of to her royal chambers to lower the sun, while Luna went off to her tower to perform the raising of the moon.
"We need to immbolize them NOW!" General Ironblood claimed, while slamming down his hoof at the word NOW.
"We shouldn't strike yet, we need to have more influenced civilians before we can act." General Lingua said still in her calm demeanour, but with a bit of agitation in her voice. Her wings were flaring up a bit from the rage that was inside her at the moment, but she controlled what she portrayed on the outside
"Well I think we should strike, but not straight away, more with stealth and a slow uprising," General Nightstalker added to the meetings argument, he always thought strike the enemy from within and watch them suffer would work, well he was a master of stealth. "Also I sense something with us."
"Well how about we listen to me," An authority infested voice came in from all sides of their secured walls atop of Luna's castle. "Well done Nightstalker, but I could HAVE easily killed you by now."
"Princess Luna!" The two other Generals yelled in unison from the shock and realisation, before the two of them bowed.
"You may rise."
They all rised on her order before she realised that General Nightstalker was still sitting at the desk, on his cushion. All of a sudden, a voice appeared directly behind her as the pony at the desk evaporated. The voice behind her said, "I could HAVE easily killed you by now."
"Yes you could've if I was really there." Princess Luna stated before evaporating and hitting Nightstalker in the back of his head causing him to fall forwards from the impact. He managed to roll forward carefully letting his horn avoid hitting the floor and landed back up upon his hooves.
"Ah, as stealthy as always Princess." Nightstalker said whilst bowing.
The Princess just smiled and said, "Our planning shall commence now." Before walking back to sit at the table with her Generals following her.
"While Lingua has the right approach to the situation at hoof, Ironblood is correct of what needs to be done now. My hatred for my sister is still growing furthermore than what it used to be, of course I will not turn back into Nightmare Moon but stay in this form. I can NEVER EVER FORGIVE HER for sending me to the moon for 1000 years," Luna explained getting teary at being sent to the moon, "It is so lonely and desolate..... there is no pony there, the loneliness.... there is nothing to do but plan and think. I planned for my revenge and when I was defeated when I came back I had to....... I had to ask for forgiveness or be sent back to the moon... again. As you already know this, we must act soon as we can while influencing more members secretly, my sister Celestia is getting suspicious from reports of civilians being 'influenced'" Luna spat the word sister like it was the worst word to ever be created. "Then there was the fact that started my hatred and jealousy, the fact that no one would admire my beautiful night sky, the fact of all the hard work that I put into it and then for the ponies just to fall asleep during it, it is a waste of time." She concluded her speech before looking towards each of her Generals.
"Well, what should we do Princess?" Nightstalker asked.
"No need for formalities here Generals, you guys are the only real friends I've ever had, and I believe I have a plan." Luna informed while learning forward to share the plan.
"Hmm that may work Ironblood, but I'm afraid I have to let Nightstalker initialise the first strike in his pegasus form. This mission requires stealth and to get in there do his job and get out fast, not allowing Celestia to believe that it was us who committed this crime."
"Fine Luna, but if she finds out that we are doing this we are going about it my way, ok?" Ironblood asked stated in a rhetorical question, he was angry because he was rarely used in missions due to his straightforward attitude and easiness to get the New Lunar Republic's cover blown.
"If we get caught out we will get Lingua to try to deceive our way out of this and if that fails then we will resort to you , Ironblood." She looked at Ironblood who just mumbled under his breath then nodded his head, the looked to the other two Generals who nodded their head as well.
"Then it is agreed, for the New Lunar Republic, Nightstalker you shall start the assassination tomorrow at twilght this. Either send your best assassins or do it yourself, do what you feel like but do it well . We do not want to be caught this early in our uprising, but if we do we will have a hard time fighting this battle. For the New Lunar Republic."
"For the New Lunar Republic." The Generals said with conviction, but not too loud that everyone could here it.
"You are all dismissed, and I ask that you prepare for an upcoming battle that may be placed if this mission fails. Good luck Nightstalker with your mission." With the final thing said from Luna she walked out of the room, leaving the Generals to discuss the oncoming events.
A/N: Next three chapters will be short chapters each with information on the three Generals.

Biography: A Night Guard patrol found him as a colt in Canterlot's alleyway's. He was surrounded by three bodies of other ponies who were holding knifes in their mouths and were slain. The colt they found was next to a long broadsword stained with blood and at least twice the length of the colt. The guards asked what happened and the colt told them he killed them because they were trying to mug him. The Night Guard then asked his name and he replied with Ironblood. Ironblood was then asked where did he live and he replied on the streets, obviously this brought up the question of who were his parents and where were they.
Ironblood replied with "My parents were both captured by Diamond dogs when I was about six in Appleloosa."
They asked him how he got here and who's sword was it he had. He claimed that he was a stowaway on a cart that was going to Canterlot, he also said that the sword was his fathers, he took it when he was hiding in the house when the Diamond dogs captured his parents at side. His parents yelled out for him to stay in as they saw the dogs starting to erupt from the ground around them. His dad tried to fight back with another sword he had just finished making but was overwhelmed by six dogs, they punched and kicked him till he could barely stand before they took him.
While two of the guards heard the story, one of the guards went to get Princess Luna, whilst the two left just standing dragged the bodies so they laid side by side, for the Princess to see when she came.
The Princess of the Night was there in record speed as soon as one of her guards told her. She sent her guards away whilst she talked to Ironblood, she first stuided the bodies and noticed two were Earth ponies and one was a Unicorn. One of the Earth ponies was stabbed through the chest, whilst the second one had a massive gash where his left eye should've been and he had been stabbed through his muzzle. The Unicorn had be stabbed through the neck. Princess Luna instantly asked if he was sure he killed them. He nodded shaking. She asked him how did he beat them, he said he used his sword to kill them, because they were going to kill him for the sword. She asked if the Unicorn used it's magic to help, and Ironblood nodded. He claimed that Magic doesn't affect as much as everypony else for some reason. Luna tested this theory right there and then by trying to lift him up with her magic. She was able to lift him up however face major resistances and had to drop him down after a few seconds. The Princess then asked about his Cutie Mark, and he claimed he had it ever since he learned how to fight with his Dad, always beating him in sparring. Luna instantly asked Ironblood to come with her which he did.
Princess Luna asked Ironblood if he wanted to join the New Lunar Republic, but as her own personal student. Ironblood instantly accepted, but then thought and asked what would happen to him because he killed three ponies. Luna said she would tell Celestia that she found three bodies in the alleyway like this to cover for him. She did not mention anything about Ironblood about this, and Princess Celestia still doesn't know about him. Princess Luna made her guards that found the bodies swear an oath that they would not say anything about Ironblood and the true cause of death to the bodies, any they did swear an oath.
She trained him personally with two other ponies around his age and learnt his weaknesses and strengths. The two other ponies often sparred with him and each other. She sent him up against her Night Guard General when he was fourteen as a spar and beat the General. Ironblood was instantly promoted as a General with two others at this time for the New Lunar Republic. These are the first three ponies to ever be a General in the New Lunar Republic. Princess Luna was able to give the two other ponies a spell which allowed them to change what form of Equine they wanted. (Excludes Changelings and Alicorns). Princess Luna could not perform this spell on Ironblood due to his magic resistance. Ironblood contiunes to train with the other two Generals. Celestia now knows of him and the other Generals, but believe them to be Generals of the Night Guard. Celestia doesn't even know about the New Lunar Republic, as they are much more trained then the Night Gaurd and more secretive.
Ironblood is one of the strongest warriors ever seen in Equestrian History but is to easily enraged and is always eager for a fight.
A/N: Next chapter will be next part of A Slow Start, then it will be followed by another General's biography.
New Lunar Republic - Uprising
Tonight......
Tonight was the only word Nightstalker could think about. Tonight he was going to start the slow uprising he and the rest of the New Lunar Republic had been planning for a very long time. Tonight he was going to prove to the Night Princess his loyalty, and he even wanted to show more.......... but could never bring himself to do it, but tonight was the time when he was going to assassinate a pony of high rank. The plan in itself was easy but hard. All he had to do was assassinate General Shining Armor.
Easy because he is very experienced in killing, hard because he was going to be at his house tonight with his family for dinner and he is an experienced soldier. The reason why Luna wants this pony dead for is because he was of high rank and bringing him down would weaken the guards morale and when Luna was to fight Celestia it would be easier to bring Celestia's guard down. Nightstalker smiled at the thought of Luna being the one and only Princess in the throne, not that tyrant Celestia, not because what she did to him.
Nightstalker shook his head about what happened to him and contiuned coating his silver dagger in manticore posion, he had it in posion for as extra precaution shall his target lived the fight. The poison would dry off on the dagger causing the poison to the bloodstream if the blade was to enter the body.
Once he coated his dagger in poison he ate a quick lunch of two daisy sandwiches and went upstairs to his room to rest. Tonight was going to be a long night, and he could tell.
Nightstalker woke about up as the sun through his windows was setting. Knowing that his plan had to be executed soon he he ate an even quicker dinner and he put his cloak over him to keep his inventory and appearance hidden.
Nightstalker walked out his front door and saw the sun fall down below the horizon and just smiled warmly at this. Now was the time he was going to start the uprising for him and the New Lunar Republic.
Carefully he made his way through the streets of Canterlot, he generally lived closer to the Night Guards barracks then the Solar Guards for obvious reasons. There were not much ponies around except a couple of strays you would get that go home from formal parties and events, not that much events were on that night anyway. There were dance clubs and shops still opened, but they were away from his target's house towards the other side of Canterlot.
It took Nightstalker about 15 minutes to reach his target undetected, but with the aid of Luna's magic. He was on the roof of the house next door to Shining Armor's home, which was fairly close the the palace. He looked over his target's house, looking at entrances and observing them for any movement. He saw movement at the entrance of the door and Nightstalker slowly crept around to see who was there. What shocked him was the fact that there were guards there.
Why are there guards there for? Does Celestia suspect something? Does she know? Is Luna safe? All these thoughts were going his head as he was trying to think of a legitimate reason as why there are guards there. The last one made him a bit edgy though for a second.
Nightstalker just shook his head to clear these thoughts and get on with his mission, just a bit more cautious though. He crept back on top of the roof to get to the back of Shining Armor's house.
I hope their Neighbours don't hear or see me otherwise this would be a lot more difficult. He thought, as he teleported to the back of the house.
He silently moved up to observe Shining who was eating with his family at the dinner table. There was Twilight, Princess Cadance and him there.
Well this just makes mission much harder and with Princess Cadance here this just got riskier tenfold and with the element bearer of magic...... Oh well more fun for me. He thought with a smirk.
"Don't worry about it Twily, when you go back to your room at Canterlot, then think your should think about what you want to say to Princess Celestia, but right now just enjoy this lovely dinner Cadance made for us." Shining Armor said whilst smiling at Princess Cadance who smiled back.
"Well thanks for letting me come over for dinner Shiny." Twilight said a bit more perked up then before, but still a little bit down.
Hmm, I wonder what happened Nightstalker thought gazing at them undetected.
"No problems Twily, it's also nice to see how my sister is going after the time since we last met." Shining Armor replied.
Princess Cadance then went over to Shining Armor and whispered something into his ear.
"OH, yes um, Twilight, Cadance and I want to give you something which is in my room. I'll be back in a second but just let me go grab it for you." Shining said while excusing himself from the table they sat at.
NOW! A voice shouted out in Nightstalker's head as he thought of when to attack.
Nightstalker teleported into Shining Armor's room relieved at the absence of guards up there. He quickly put up a sound proof barrier with his magic as heard thudding on what he believed was the staircase. He also took in how big the room was as he had a quick look around, and quickly realised something. Nightstalker smiled as he saw he was in his work of speciality, darkness.
He saw the door open as he stood in a corner of the room and saw Shining walk in and heading towards what looked like a wardrobe. He used this time to unsheath his dagger from his side with his mouth and closed the door quickly. Shining Armor quickly turned around from where he was going as he heard the door shut, and looked towards it, but what he saw there was a cloaked figure, a cloaked figure holding a dagger.
Nightstalker smiled as he saw Shining Armor's eyes widen in surprise as he saw him. He wasted no time in attacking as he lunged at Shining Armor who just managed to say "Drop your weap-." Before being collided with.
A/N: Cliff hangars I tell you, they suck.... wait then why did I do one... DAMMIT.
