Despite Starswirl convincing everyone to banish Stygian, Starlight wants to at least try to redeem him, but only Spike seems to listen to her. She honestly couldn’t be anymore grateful.

Even though Starswirl is adamant on not giving Stygian a chance of redemption, Starlight refuses to not try at all, unfortunately no one seems to be listening to her, except Spike. But that may be all she needs.
