Hitch and the Parasyte
Disorder
Previous ChapterNext ChapterIn the sheriff station, Hitch Trailblazer was seen still asleep in his bed even after last night's entire ordeal where he had witnessed a strange worm like creature burrowing itself into his right hoof forcefully despite his best attempts in trying to cease it from doing so. But, he let go of that thought and decided to dismiss it as a bad dream like what his animal companions assured him to be, or so they think that it was.
"H-how d-did I m-manage t-to e-enter in-into y-your r-right h-hoof?"
The sound of the mysterious voice has startled Hitch out of his sleep.
"Wh-who's there?" Hitch asked as he began to scrutinize his whole entire surroundings but, nopony was there. "My brain must be playing tricks on me today." He mumbled as he rubbed his head.
The sheriff then looked over to his alarm clock next to him and noticed that he was five minutes off schedule from his patrol duty for today! He must've forgotten to set up his alarm clock again last night.
"Oh crap! I'm gonna be late!" Hitch exclaimed as he jumped off of his bed before rushing to his bathroom to brush his teeth.
A minute later, Hitch has completed in brushing his teeth completely and rushed downstairs to the first floor of his sheriff's station office area where the front doors were located in. He then rushed towards them and pulled them open, revealing a crowd of mares, fillies, colts and stallion looking at him with perplexed expressions.
"Hehe, good morning everypony, it sure is a bright sunny day is it?" Hitch asked with an embarrassed chuckle.
"Morning sheriff Hitch!" A filly greeted with a smile.
"You sure took your time." A pony mare said.
"Yes sorry everypony, I'll be getting on with my duties today." Hitch told them as he commenced his routine.
During Hitch's routine, the sheriff patrolled and scrutinized all the ponies behaviours and to corroborate that they were all behaving well today without causing any mayhem with their magical powers at their disposal anytime anywhere luckily, none were using their magic which was a good sign unlike last times cataclysm which got him a bit irked due to how powerful magic is.
As he continued to patrol, many of the mares, fillies, colts and stallions were all seen greeting their amazing sheriff which Hitch replied by saying hello back.
However, behind Hitch, there was a mare known as Sunny who has took notice of the stallion Hitch in front of her casually patrolling the ponies just as usual. A check expression appeared on her as she prepared to play a trick on her friend. So, without wasting any more time, she slowly crept up towards the pony stallion quietly so that she would be heard or spotted by him.
Once Sunny got close to Hitch without him being aware of her presence, she raised her right hoof up in the air and attempted to give him a scare but unexpectedly, Hitch caught her right hoof with his right hoof.
"Huh?" Hitch asked as he looked to his right to see that his right hoof was grabbing somepony else's right hoof even though he did not even move it. The sheriff then turned around to see the mare Sunny behind him. "Oh! Uh! Sunny! G-good morning! This is quite a surprise!" He said with a sheepish smile but, Sunny took it as an excuse.
"Oh please, I know that you were wary of my presence, you can drop the act." Sunny told him.
Before Hitch could reply back, he noticed that his right hoof was now touching Sunny's soft left cheek which got the mare perplexed of her friend's action. Then, the sheriff's right hoof made its way towards Sunny's gorgeous hair before feeling it which made the mare uncomfortable.
"Stop it Hitch!" Sunny exclaimed as she pushed the stallion's hoof away.
"Oh! I'm so sorry Sunny! I didn't mean it, I promise! My right hoof was moving on its own!" Hitch exclaimed anxiously as he held his right hoof with his left to prevent it from moving by itself.
Sunny on the other hoof disregarded the sheriff before walking past him.
When that happened, Hitch let out a groan before looking down on his right hoof with a bewildered expression. He was being honest that it was his right hoof that did the action and not him.
"Oops! Can somepony throw the ball to me please?"
When Hitch heard the filly, he looked down in front of him to see a plastic ball rolling towards him at a rapid pace. Then suddenly, the sheriff's right hoof took action by itself and snatched the plastic ball. After that, Hitch's right hoof automatically swung itself backwards before tossing the ball at the far distance by itself which resulted in landing in the filly's hooves after soaring through the air a couple of seconds.
Hitch was beyond stupefied after what had happened, how was he able to toss that ball with a great sheer amount of strength? The pony citizens all clapped their hooves at the display in how amazing that ball toss was.
In the intersection area of the town, sheriff Hitch was seen relaxing while taking a bite out of a doughnut that he bought from the bakery due to him being a little hungry.
"Hopefully a high amount of carbohydrates can give me the necessary strengths and stamina that I require for my next few hours." He told himself.
At first, everything seemed tranquil but suddenly, a loud scream from a mare was heard.
"Watch out!"
Hitch flinched from the loud scream from the mare, that is usually a sign that there is something detrimental going on right now. The stallion looked at what was going on and saw a shopping trolley rolling through the streets uncontrollably and is currently heading towards a filly who was looking at her cellphone.
"Oh no! Watch out!" Hitch exclaimed as he ran to the filly as quickly as he could.
Once he got to the filly, he immediately pulled her close to him before stopping the trolley with his right hoof. As the trolley collided into Hitch's right hoof, the front immediately got bent and groceries came flying into the air, landing on the floor in the process, luckily, neither Hitch or the filly got maimed.
"You okay little filly?" Hitch asked as he looked down at the filly.
"Yeah, thank you so much sheriff Hitch!" The filly said in a startled yet grateful tone.
Hitch then let go of the filly and stood up to stare down at his right hoof again. Just how did it get so strong all of the sudden?
"Wow Hitch, how did you manage to bend that trolley like that?" Izzy asked with an astonished expression. "You've been working out haven't you?" She asked again.
Instead of answering, Hitch ran past the unicorn mare Izzy Moonbow and towards the sheriff station to try and comprehend the situation more better in there without any interference. Leaving the mare Izzy Moonbow perplexed.
"Wow, he is fast."
Once Hitch got back to the sheriff's station, he pushed the doors opened before slamming them shut behind him, closing the blinds in the process. After that, he ran to the office desk before grabbing a cutter from his stationery box, pushing the slider forward and aiming it at his own right hoof in the process.
"I know what you did earlier, and I remember what you did to me last night too creature! I'm gonna get to the bottom of this today!" Hitch shouted with beads of sweat appearing on his forehead. "Show yourself to me right now!" He demanded.
At first, nothing had occured then a second later, Hitch has got a response. He immediately noticed that his right hoof was splitting a bit with teeth coming out of it which made his eyes widen in horror. Then, a brief second later, his right hoof has morphed into a creature with teeth, and eyes popping above its face that was connected with these long skin tissue. It also had hands coming out of its sides too.
"Wh-what a-an un-unexpected f-failure, I-I'm n-now y-your r-right h-hoof."
