Me over a year later: oh boy

Hey...it's been a while. Only like over a year.

Soooo...idk how many of u have actually been wondering when I'd come back...but...here i am.

Sigh...screw it...im not even gonna sugarcoat. Just gotta rip the bandaid.

I'm...done with writing.

Yeah...you read that correctly. I'm not just cancelling the story. I'm officially done with fanfic writing.

Let me explain.

Back when I went on hiatus a year ago, I dedicated all my time and attention to school and eventually I just kinda...forgot about this story. I'd say about a few months later is when I went back to it and was about to write, but my mind just kinda drew a blank. I know I practically had the blueprints on what to write, but I just didn't feel like doing so. It then kinda went into this cycle where I'd forget about this story, eventually come back, draw a blank before I write, decide to hold off on writing and focus on school, and then repeat.

I think the second reason why I held off on writing this story was because I just moved on from the MLP community. After Chapter 4 of MLP Gen 5, I just kinda stopped watching it. Now that I think about it, I think I stopped watching anything MLP related until just last week. It's not that I hate it or anything, but rather I just lost interest.

And now all of a sudden I find out that Gen 5 is finished (at least I think so)?

So yeah.

To put it simply...I lost interest in writing and MLP.

So sadly...I'm cancelling this story (in case that wasn't obvious).

Actually, I think I pretty much decided to cancel this months ago...but just never got around to updating y'all.

I guess it was because I didn't want to disappoint you guys after all this time. And I'm sorry if I did.

But I figured it wouldn't be fair for you guys and that y'all deserved an explanation. Because if there's one thing I hate, it's finding a good story, and seeing that it hasn't been posted for months, probably years, without notification of hiatus or cancellation.

Anyways, I think I've ranted on long enough.

To those who've read this or rather any of my stories, thank you.

And if...and this is a very big IF...I ever do decide to write fanfic stories again, they'd highly likely be one-shots and (probably) be non-MLP related.
