It had been a fairly ordinary day - Fluttershy had woken up, taken care of the animals, helped Rainbow Dash with a particularly nasty storm cloud, Helped Applejack buck some apple tree's, and modeled a dress for Rarity.
On her way home, she had been stopped by Pinkie, who demanded her opinion on twelve separate party plans.
By the time she made it home, she was exhausted, and very ready to go to sleep.
Fluttershy yawned, rubbing her eye with a hoof. "Bedtime..." She murmured quietly, brushing her teeth then sliding under her covers. Sleep came quickly, but so did the haunting dreams of a childhood all to familiar...
Fluttershy quivered in fear as her father scolded her, hunkered down against the wall as the slightly drunk blue earth pony yelled at her. Quite a few cuss words were throw at her, and she was soon kicked in the chest multiple times, before the stallion turned around, grumbling. "You could at least be like your buckin' sister and have some use...." He said, before slamming the door and leaving the poor Pegasus filly crying in the corner.
This was not a sole occurrence - It happened often, and nopony ever knew. Her sister, a grey unicorn with a white mane, refused to do anything that would upset their father. She did everything perfectly and did exactly as she was told. Fluttershy tried to be a good filly, she really did, but...she was rather weak, an always did something wrong. Apparently her mother, a yellow Pegasus like herself, had left her father shortly after their second daughter was born, claiming to have never loved him. Her only comfort was a stronger, deeper version of her own voice, rasping in her ear and in her mind with words of encouragement. One day, though, it got upset - It yelled at her and told her she should stand up for herself against her father's abuse.
It said it could help her - And Fluttershy believed it. She closed her eyes when she opened them, they were different. Darker. More sinister. And an evil grin played across her face. She stood up from her bed and walked through the halls, into her fathers room. "Daddy...." She said, in a voice deeper and more raspy than usual. She held her body differently, more like a predator, but her father didn't notice as he sat up to see his daughter with a knife in her mouth, a deadly look in her eyes. "Time to DIE...."
As she left the room, soaked in blood from head to hoof, An evil grin spread across her face. "Sissy...? I heard screami-" Her sister, having just walked out of her room, stopped dead at the sight. "F-F-Fluttershy...?" She questioned, stuttering, as she took a step back. Butchershy, as she would soon be known, took a step forward, her posturing changing as she bent her knee's just so, ready to pounce...
Fluttershy bolted awake, flying straight up into the hair and hitting her head on the ceiling, screaming the whole time. She came back down on the bed, panting, holding herself and shaking like she was ice cold. "Nightmares....Just nightmares...." She told herself, rocking back and forth. Eventually she let out a more even breath, sliding off her bed and going into the kitchen to make herself tea.
"I don't wanna remember those days..."
