Only gone.

Today was a special one.

It was the day that sunset summer died.

Celestia's daughter.

Cradling a photo album the princess and god of the sun openly wept for the only pony she loved more than her sister. A pony who brought her joy and love never once dreamed of before,

And now she's gone.

Dead.

Taken away by a being who couldn't even feel the loss of losing another. Munch less what that meant to a mother. It was true Sunset was adopted and while Celestia never gave birth the connection was still there. At least the white alicorn hoped so.

They loved one another that much was true, but having been abandoned at a young age it left a mark that even the white princess couldn't heal. As such there were times were Sunset acted out toward those who seek to help her. In her mind, the ones who get close always leave. As such, she grew to be harsh, reckless, and unforgiving.

At least at first.

Over time, however, barriers were broken through, and together she and Celestia managed to form a bond that seemed unbreakable.

At least until that thing appeared.

The emotionless being known as Twilight Sparkle.

A pony who around that time while feared still had a hoof hold on pony society. It also helped that she was regarded as the smartest pony to ever live.

The princess doesn't know how the two met or what was said all she knows is that one day her sweet Sunset was gone, and in its place was a pony who moved like with purpose, and yet her eyes shined with something that the princess did not like.

Then there were the disappearing acts.

At first, it was hours then days then those days became weeks. Sometimes she would come back with tired eyes and a few scratches here and there other times there would be deep scars with some even looking self-made

Celestia couldn't take it anymore.

At first, she was giving Sunset the chance to come to her. Thinking that it was some type of rebellious stage of her life.

Oh, how much of a fool she was.

When she confronted Sunset it went wrong very quickly. Simple questions became a full-blown argument regarding Celestia's rule over the country. It turned out that Sunset blamed her for the loss of her parents and that if Celestial simply made things easier for ponies who had foals then Sunset would have been happy.

Oh, the things Celestia said in return.

In the end, Sunset left, and Celestia never saw her again until it was too late.

Now Sunset was dead and Celestia had a hoof in killing her.

The princess screamed in agony before stomping a hoof into the ground. The result sent shock waves throughout the castle.

The sound of Celestia's bed chambers can be heard. A moment later a dark wing wrapped itself firmly against the princess.

"All will be well sister".

Celestia sniffed.

"I miss her so much!"

Luna frowned. Nearly heartbroken at the sight of her older sister. Unfortunately, there wasn't much she could do but comfort her as best as she was able.

Suddenly a letter appeared in thin air between the ancient beings.

Within seconds Lina was reading its contents.

Upon seeing the look on her sister's face Celestia grew concerned.

"What is it?"

However, as soon as Luna opens her mouth there was a knock at the door.

Snarling Luna stands ready to unleash her built-up rage upon whoever decided that now was a good time to interrupt them. However, before she even made it half the door opens.

Revealing a loyal guard with green eyes with a bomb strap to his chest.

Luna paused.

"ALL MUST PREPARE FOR THE NEW WORLD!"

"NO!"

Luna lunged.

The pony only smiled.

A second later everything turned white.

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""'''"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

An explosion echoed throughout Canterlot. Moments later the princess's castle was up in flames. As ponies looked on in horror they noticed two figures fly out of the castle. As they did however the flames which were a bright orange turned morphed and changed into a pony that looked to be in her final moments. Not only that but as the flames formed this image they also formed a set of words that caused Celestia to scream.

SHE'S DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU.

However, while all that was going no one noticed a blue unicorn casually making her way by within the crowd. Nor did they see her holding a large box that looked to be hundreds of years old. Why? Because to them, the box was simply a bundle of grocery bags hanging off of the mare's back.

You would think that breaking into the castle would be next to impossible and it is but with a little distraction anything can be possible if you know what you're doing.

As the mournful enraged screams of a sun god rang in her ears Trixie couldn't help but take out an old locket with the picture of her and White together. As she did a tear fell down her cheek.

No matter what or how long it takes Trixie will get her hooves on those who took her beloved away from her. Even if it means she has to burn the entire country to do it.

They messed with Trixie Lulu's moon the greatest thief the world has ever seen and there will be hell to pay.
