The threat of the Great Devourer is over and now the Ninja must face their newest Challenge: Training Lloyd to the Light Ninja and Defeat Lord Garmadon.

However at the same time Garmadon has forged the Golden Weapons into a powerful Mega Weapon, and has allied himself with Lord Tirek, Queen Chrysalis and remaining forces of the Serpentine. Now the two sides clash with each other again and again, the balance always shifting between them.

...But little do Lloyd and Garmadon realize is that they are merely pieces in a much larger and greater plan that has been at work for a millennia.

With clock ticking closer and closer to the ultimate fight, who win the final battle and determine the fate of the Magical land of Equestria?
