Takes place after Chapter 4 (Back to... Normal?)
Far from Normal...
Following the quick lunch, Chrysalis excused herself while the castle staff got the rest of the group settled into their rooms for the course of their stay. At the same time, Harshwhinny had taken Celestia to the office to get accustomed to her new duties, including signing the necessary NDA forms so that she wouldn't go running her mouth about what she will hear in the meetings. Yet, with all the joy she felt at having a chance to fully bond with her wife and daughter once more, a violent maelstrom that had been racking the back of her mind had finally managed to surge its way to the front and lash against her skull like waves against a rocky shore.
"I got to tell her…" The changeling muttered, pacing herself around the lavish ballroom, the one place she had found that was free of guards or maids. "Oh, Cadence, I love you? Come on Chryssy… you are better than this, you have a wife after all! Have I really gone so deranged, so long without love that I am willing to do whatever it takes to ensure survival… what kind of wife am I?!"
Silence answered, but in the depths of her mind she imagined a full band playing, headlined by Octavia Melody on her cello and backed up by Madame Scarlett on her violin, playing the works of her's and Luna's youth as the two of them danced under the crystalline chandelier. Starting with the tango and moving to the waltz, she could just imagine moving gracefully on her hooves back and forth between Luna and Cadence. Chrysalis was satisfied in her fantasy, humming along and occasionally vibrating her wings to the mental motions, until at the end she could have sworn that she was being kissed.
Opening her eyes, she was shocked to discover a pair of pink lips locked against her own, a pair of light purple eyes gently looking at her with a sense of clarity and inviting warmth.
"Cadence?" Chrysalis stammered, her shock being enough to break the kiss but the Princess of Love did not break the embrace from their impromptu dance. "You kissed me…"
"So I did," Cadence laughed, pulling Chrysalis to her hooves so the queen could properly stand. "I couldn't help but overhear your little plight, and when I saw you start to dance, I couldn't help but join in."
"You heard me?" Chrysalis felt as if her chitin was prickly in worry, a feeling that she did not like as she looked her former enemy in the eye. "The only way you could have heard is if you followed me, which as you are my Host, I have the right to know why you intruded on one of your Guests' privacy."
"Turnabout is fair play," Cadence stated, nodding at Chrysalis using the same terms that she had used herself before lunch. "To answer your inquiry, I was concerned when you went off on your own after we all dismissed from lunch. Luna and Nebula are in their room, and I thought that you would want to join them so you could have some family bonding, so when you left for no apparent reason…"
"You grew concerned due to how Celestia acted at lunch by refusing her dessert, and wanted to see if that is why I needed time for myself?" Chrysalis raised her eyebrow as she spoke, waiting for the alicorn to answer, but got a nonverbal one when the pink mare lowered her head. "Whereas I appreciate the gesture, even I need time to myself to think over more complicated matters, that way I can process and formulate a plan on how to address them."
"Like how you have an attraction to me?" Cadence knew she had struck paydirt from the shocked expression on the queen's face as she put a hoof to one of her chitinous cheeks. "To be honest, I've had one for you ever since you captured me Your Majesty~."
"Wait what?!" Chrysalis was shocked, yet something about the way Cadence had purred the title lit a fire under her tail. It was something that awakened a primal urge that she had not felt in a long time, one that her brain agreed it liked. "Is that so? Is sweet little miss vanilla actually a raunchy mare in private?"
"Oh you have no idea," Cadence shrugged, which only intensified the growing inferno in Chrysalis when the princess lidded her eyes. "Those things I said abound bondage in the carriage? As a changeling, I am sure that you can be creative with your magic, or am I wrong in that regard?"
"No, you are right…" Chrysalis said, a slight nervousness on her tone at how casually the leader of the Crystal Empire was talking about such private matters. "But, I'm married to your aunt, so technically if we did anything risque then it it would be incest."
"I may not be a changeling auntie, but I am the Princess of Love," Cadence said, nuzzling her aunt-in-law and mentally noting how soft Chrysalis' chitin was and feeling the changeling's muscles relax. "Besides, we don't share any DNA, and I am sure Auntie Lulu won't mind me taking care of your more carinal pleasures and needs while she is away in Canterlot or you get too swamped with work to go visit."
"I'm confused," Chrysalis, despite the furnace under her tail and how much her instincts screamed to teleport her and Cadence somewhere and get down, had the presence of mind to address the elephant in the room. "How can you be so willing to go along with this? I'm not the only married mare here, considering what I have done to you and Shining-"
"All forgiven," Cadence said, dismissing Chrysalis' statement with a motion of her hoof before rubbing the queen's chest in soft circles. "It is actually what me and Shiny wanted to have our appointment with you about. He is a good stallion, and good in the sheets as we both know, but my tail swings both ways Chryssy. When you captured me, you awakened something in me, the need to feel like the captured princess in a cage or prey to a strong, sexy predator. Vanilla is nice and all, but every once in a while I want a nice swirl to mix it up. He acknowledged that there are some things that I want to partake in that he wants no part of, and if Auntie Lulu consents, I will unofficially claim you as a second consort."

"What Chryssy, isn't this what you wanted?" Cadence said, lowering her rear so it rested between Chrysalis' hind legs, slightly grinding herself along the changeling's smooth shell and smiling to herself as she felt a few plates start to shift. "Admit it, once you got full of Shiny's love after the wedding, you were going to come back to where I was imprisoned and breed me like some mare in the Bridle District."
"I mean, it did cross my revenge-fueled mind," Chrysalis was slowly losing control of her urges, the fact Cadence knew she had a hidden cock coming as a slight surprise. Whereas drones had ovipositors, queens had the actual tool and orbs, and right now she could tell she was already close. "But still, we don't have Lulu's permission, so there is no possible way that I can agree to going any further without her agreeing."
"Very well," Cadence nodded, and with a flash of her magic a very confused looking Luna was suddenly looking at them both. "Hey auntie, quick question, is it ok if I had some fun with Auntie Chryssy? I promise not to break her, unless she asked nicely that is."
"What?" The total monotone, and raised eyebrow, showed that Luna was not amused at the proposal. "Pray tell, dear niece, why do you think I would agree to you getting your tunnel mined by my mare? A mare who I haven't even had a chance to properly reconnect with, and her and our daughter being the sole reason I accompanied on this journey. You better have solid reasoning, because at the end of the day, I hold the final verdict when it comes to your request."
"There it is, there is the mare I fell in love with," Chrysalis thought, relishing in the moment that her dear Princess of the Night had rescued her out of a jam based on the shame Cadence felt as she got off her. "That's what I told her Lulu, I could not consent without your permission."
"Oh, what is this?" Chrysalis was fully aware that Luna's full attention was now on her, her teal pools glistening with mischief as she smirked. "Doest our lovely wife wish to partake in the act of polygamy? Why, we know it was prevalent prior to our untimely vacation, but we would never have dreamed that our loyal bride would want to chase the plot of another, let alone somepony of our own bloodline!"
"Thou plot is the finest in the land, our dear Moonbeam," Chrysalis knew Luna was just playing a part, evident by the fact she had slipped into the olde tongue, but she was eager to play along. "Verily, even thyself cannot argue our niece's charms in her own right as the Princess of Love. Harmony forbid, it is as if her form was sculpted to be rutted like a common mule in the square."
"We suppose," Luna mused, slowly trotting around Cadence and stopping at her rear, noting how soaked the pink princess' tail was. "Though, if we were to grant this boon, we are curious as to what thee tribute will be Cadence."
"Tribute?" Cadence looked over at her buggy aunt, only to see her smirking and not offering any help. "What kind of tribute is she talking about Chryssy?"
"Ah, so you weren't taught about the old customs," Chrysalis giggled, not only from the confusion that Cadence had but also from the alicorn's blush when Luna started to gently nibble her dock. "In our time, it was custom in a polymourous relationship for those wishing to join to pay a tribute to the head mate, even if they were related, and seeing as how Luna is my charge…"
"Oh." Cadence deadpanned, the full realization of what the circumstances entitled hitting her all at once. "But I was going to make you my second consort, so do I have to still give something up to Auntie Lulu?"
"You do," Luna said, choosing at that moment to teasingly lick at Cadence's flower, making the smaller alicorn bite her lip to suppress a moan. "Tell me, do you love my wife?"
"Yes," The resolute tone Cadence's voice was backed up by a surge of love into Chrysalis's horn that nearly made her topple to the floor. "I love her not only for what we could do in the bedroom, but as my equal. Granted, she did some things in the past that hurt me and Shiny, but we both have forgiven her. Once the hurt was gone and I got to know the real mare she is, that kind and compassionate soul captivated me and drew me in like you move your moon. "The Triplicate Oath," Luna moved back around to face Cadence in the eyes, her tone serious and her eyes fixed as if she was holding court. "Once spoken, it cannot be undone, for you have just swore your life to mine. I know you didn't realize what you did, so I am giving you this one chance to back out of it considering it has not been used since I returned, and even years before I was banished."
"I shall honor it, My Liege," Cadence said, dipping into a bow and kissing Luna's forehooves. "Consider it my tribute to you, if it be thy wish."
"Very well," Luna moved a hoof under Cadence's cheek, tilting the pink mare's head to look up at her. "In return for your servitude to me, I shall grant your boon to be entangled with my wife. Treat her well in my absence, if you do, I shall reward you on my visits. Now, rise."
Cadence did as she was told, rising up to her full height, but her mouth was quickly assaulted by a pair of deep navy lips. The kiss caught the love princess off guard, the smell of blueberries filling her nose from the syrup that Luna had with her pancakes, but the pleasant sweetness stuck to her lips and invited her for more as she tried to take control with her tongue. "They were," Chrysalis said, firing off an answer before Luna had a chance to do a rebuttal due to feeling insulted. "But please be careful of your wording because of just how old me and Lulu are. Anyway, the spells existed, but they were in a more raw form. Know how today's spells you can swap reproductive systems or give yourself both for a short amount of time? Well, back then, the process was slow, painful, completely changed the gender, and needed a minimum of a one month cooldown before recasting to return to normal."
"I see…" Cadence was thoughtful, a rebellious thought snaking her way into her mind and quickly taking root as she grinned, knowing exactly how she was going to embarrass her night-aligned aunt. "I bet all the mares lusted after her, didn't they?"
"Oh yeah," Chrysalis said, a dreamy look coming to her eyes as Luna's cheeks turned a dark violet. A sharp, chilled jaw, larger wings that were intimidating when backlit by the moon, powerful muscles that could level an entire army.
