I was engulfed in a miasma of colors and shapes as my vision cleared. Every second threatened to break my mind as I was exposed to the immaterium.
I had resigned myself to an eternity in this place when I saw a golden light explode into existence that pushed away the miasma.

I was overcome with emotion at what I was seeing. It was the flutternor the image of my primare its giant pink butterfly wings blew away the insanity.
It's golden armor shined and her face was completely calm. If felt tears running down my face as I stared at them.
They suddenly hit me with a gust from their wings and I was thrown into a rift that had opened while I was distracted.
All I saw was green before I entered the rift.

Twilight was in her observatory room it was a large room with no roof but it had a invisible magical dome to keep out the weather. She was at her teloscope and was about to wrap it up and head to bed when something caught her eye. She swiftly aimed her teloscope at what she had seen.
It felt wrong to look at it was as if it should not exist in this world. It was a gapeing rift of a miasma of colors and shapes. Suddenly a bright light and a shape came flying out of the rift as it closed. She could not make out what it was before it seemed to crash into the everfree forest.

She so desperately wanted to investigate but it was past midnight and the everfree was even more dangerous at night.
And all her freinds were asleep too and she wouldn't want to wake them for something like this. She decided that first thing in the morning she would investigate with her friend's.

I came out of the rift to a sea of dark green and brown and swiftly realized I was many hundreds of feet off the ground and approaching rapidly. I attempted to slow my landing with my wings and I was able to slow down a bit before I slammed hoof.first into a tree and went straight through the trunk wood splintered and flew everywhere as I slammed into another one and finally hit the ground digging a deep furrow in the ground.

I finally stood up and took stock of my surroundings I was in a very thick forest with moonlight just barely filtering through the canopy.
I then assessed my equipment as diagnostics flickered across my helmets hud. My chainhorn was completely fine and It had about two hours of continuous use in it with two extra cannister of fuel in my supplies compartment attached to the side my servo arm was on.
My bolter was also in good condition aswell and It had half a mag currently loaded with 4 other mags in my supplies.
In total I had about 135 rounds so I would have to use them sparingly.

Suddenly my auspex went off as a group if unknowns was approaching rapidly.
I readied myself as the unknowns finally appeared and what I saw surprised me greatly.
Timberwolves!! here that shouldn't have been possible as this place was visually free of chaos corruption and they never strayed far from where they originate.
In fact I noticed a lot of differences with these Timberwolves they were smaller for one thing. The Timberwolves I had encountered In my life were about my height but these were at about chest height. They also looked more uniform as they did not have random limbs on their body. Nevertheless they were warp spawn and had to die so I waited for the first one to attack and my chainhorn roared to life.

Fluttershy started awake as this unfamiliar noise echoed. She quickly went outside of her cottage to investigate.
As she got outside she heard it again

It was coming from the everfree forest and was accompanied by the howling of Timberwolves. She was reluctant to investigate as the forest was dangerous and scary. But what if an animal was hurt what if it was just attacked by whatever made that awful noise and needed help.
She gained a determined look on her face as she took off into the forest.

As she went deeper into the woods she could see animals fleeing from the direction the sound was coming from.
As she got even closer she could here the howls and yaps of Timberwolves and monstrous crashing noises of cracking wood.
She decided to sneak up on the area where the sounds were coming from and it was even louder now as she came up on a clearing.
And what she saw was a metal giant that was butchering the Timberwolves.

It was large was the first thing evident about it it was almost as large a celestia in its height only. As where celestia was lithe and thin it was bulky and thick. It was in the shape of a pony which surprised fluttershy as what pony could comit the brutality she was seeing.
It's armor was a deep crimson red and it had massive shoulder pauldrens with a symbol of curiously wings the same color as her coat and a drop of blood in the center.
It also had wings which were armored leaving the feathers exposed while the limb was covered. And these wings were the same color as hers which was also surprising.

But the things that drew her attention the most were the massive black box on one of its shoulders and the horn comeing out of its head.
The box was strange looking it seemed to have some sort of bulky thing attached to it with a tube comeing out. And there appeared to be a mechanical arm sticking out of the top though it was folded up.
Now the horn was the thing that was terrifying to her she thought it was a false horn as it was completely covered in armor and you don't cover a horn as it make using magic imposibe without breaking the covering. But the main thing about this false horn was that I seemed yo have teeth attached teeth that were turning and making that horrible sound.

She watched in horror completely frozen as it stopped a Timberwolf from leaping on it by driving its false horn through its chest and bisecting it. And as the remains fell it crushed the magical core of the Timberwolf and it collapsed into splinters.
It leapt forward at another Timberwolf and caved its head in with an armored hoof and swiftly crushing it's core as well.
Their was only one Timberwolf remaining as what looked like the remains of dozens littered the clearing.

The Timberwolf began to sprint away and with terror she realized it was running towards where she was hidden.
As it came upon her she screamed as it made to rip her throat out but before it could do so thunder sounded

and it's chest where it's core was located exploded and the Timberwolf collapsed into splinters.

She was still shaken as the giant came upon her and it almost seemed to stagger with shock.
And from its grilled helmet with red eyes a female voice distorted by the helmet but still clearly shaking it said

Fluttershy??
