Spike sighed as he set the boxes down on Rainbow's couch and turned as she jumped into his arms, kissing his lips. He held her close and fell back on the empty space of the couch. He didn't really know why she was getting so excited. They had purposely avoided details that would have hinted at anything between them. And yet here she was… hot horny and trying to…

*knock knock knock*

Rainbow groaned and sat up glaring at the door. "One moment please!"

Spike sighed and set her down. "Maybe you should go… freshen up." He sighed as she nodded and stomped off to the bathroom. A part of him was grateful for the distraction. He really didn't want to risk being in the middle of anything when someone came over. Walking to the door he opened it and smiled at seeing Twilight. "Oh… hay Twilight. What brings you so soon? Rainbow is…"

"I actually came over to see you." She replied quickly. "I've been thinking about a few things… and…" She levitated out a scroll. "It's not much. But… I got it furnished already… though the bed will have to be switched and the bathroom might need a bit of modifying…"

"Twilight… are you… kicking me out?" Spike asked in shock.

"What? No! Never… kinda… maybe…" She sighed and looked away. "I… just thought you'd want to have your own place… maybe start your own business… maybe a family…"

Spike blinked and looked at the scroll. "It's… wait… THAT’S FOR ME!?!?!?!"

"Guess I went overboard." Twilight admitted meekly.

"YOU THINK!!!!? That place is huge! What am I going to do with all that space?" Spike asked, still in disbelief.

"Well… you can use it to start a business."

"Like what?"

Twilight thought for a moment before smiling. "Interspecies trade? Maybe… rent out the other rooms?"

Rainbow came over and noticed the paper. She thought for a moment before getting an idea. "If you want an idea for how to get started. I have some ideas."

"Great." Twilight announced before turning away quickly. "Then I'll leave it to you two and-"

"Who is it?" Rainbow asked with a smirk.

"W… what?"

"You're… going to go see a stallion. Aren't you?" Spike sighed.

"What makes you think that? I'm not going to the orchard. Why would I need apples?"

Spike held up his claws and started to count on them. "You're wearing perfume, you came straight over after we JUST left the castle, your legs keep twitching, and I didn't mention anything about apples." Smirking, he added. "Plus we lived together long enough for me to know you. He's a good stallion."

Twilight couldn't help it. She spun around and jumped into his arms and hugged him. "I love you too Spike." She cried as Spike returned the hug for a moment before flying her to the ground. "You can move in when you're ready. Rainbow too. I'm sure we can arrange for her things to be moved. And don't be a stranger."

"You too… sis." He sighed.

Twilight turned and rushed off, knowing that had she stayed any longer, she would have taken back everything she said and begged him to stay with her.

Spike sighed as he watched her vanish into the distance before looking up at Rainbow who looked like she had mixed feelings as well. "Maybe… we should wait till after you…"

Spike flew up and put a claw over her lips. "Let's check it out together." He said softly. "Besides, I need an expert at all things cool to help examine the place."

Rainbow smiled and joined him as they flew to the large house.

After exploring the two story house. They came to an agreement… It had way too many bedrooms for just the two of them. Even if they let one creature from each of their allies move in, they'd still have a few rooms left over. Which gave Rainbow an idea.

"Hay Spike. What if we rented out the upstairs rooms? Or let creatures from across the land stay while they go to school here?" Rainbow suggests.

"Well… we'd have to have some limitations on who can stay…" Spike pointed out with a nod of agreement.

"And we can come up with a list of rules they'd have to agree to follow or get kicked out." Rainbow added.

Spike rubbed his chin as Rainbow wrote down a list of things they wanted changed or added. "But what would we use the other rooms for?"

Rainbow smirked at him. "I can think of a few ideas. We each can have a room to use however we want. And one that we can use later. And of course our bedroom."

Spike blinked as he quickly caught on to what she was saying. "Oh… I'll… start packing my things." He announced before flying out of the room.

Once he was gone, Rainbow sighed and looked at the list. "I wonder if adding a nursery would be too obvious right now…"

Rarity sighed as she paced in her workplace. She didn't understand why it bothered her so much that he was with HER. He always wanted to spend time with her. And it wasn't like she had feelings for him before. So why now? Why did his chiseled pecs, sculpted abs and…

"I… lost my chances with him… didn't I?" She sighed.

"I'm sorry. If you want to-" Fluttershy started before she was stopped by Rarity's hoof.

"No… I'm sorry dear. It's just hormones talking." Rarity admitted with a smile. "Seems I may be entering my cycle, and my body has a type. But you have my heart."

Fluttershy thought for a moment before smiling. "Well… if you wouldn't mind some experimenting… I may know an alternative that we both can enjoy."

"Oh?" Rarity asked before a possible idea popped into her mind. "Well… I suppose I should try something new. Plus, I'm more than willing to give your ideas a try as well."

Smiling, the two made their way to Fluttershy's cottage.
