Friends Christmas Shopping
This year, hitch was quite late with the Christmas decor because of all the work he had to do, unfortunately. “So, which one of you cutie critters wants to help me with decorations?” questioned hitch.
His critters all jumped for joy! “Oh, all of you want to help?” Said hitch. The critters smiled and jumped more. “All right, let's get on it! Said hitch. Hitch gave sparky the reef and gave the other Christmas lights to put around the sheriff's office.
Fortunately, everything was done in a few hours. Hitch looked at his clock to see that it was 4 in the morning. “Holy Moly!” said hitch. Hitch then tucked the critters into bed while he went to bed himself. Before he went to go to bed, he looked one more time at everything, it was beautiful, hitch then smiled and went to bed.
Early in the morning, around 7 am, hitch woke up to a knocking on his door. After spending all night on those decorations, hitch was so tired, he could not even get up out of bed.
Hitch then heard an opening of the door. “Dang critters, opening the door for strangers.” thought hitch before he got up and went to see what was up downstairs.
“Hey, who are you letting in sparky? “ hitch said before he looked out the door to see Sunny Starscout. Sunny glared at hitch, waving at him. Hitch fell to the floor in shock.
“Oh! Sunny, what are you doing here so early?” He said.
“Omg hitch, are you okay?” Sunny said
Yep, all good! Hitch said before getting up. Sunny could tell that hitch was sleepy, Sunny then glared inside the building.
“Omg, did you decorate the office?” said sunny before walking in.
Yeah, I and the critters have been on it since this morning. Said hitch.
“It's really beautiful, all of you did an amazing job! Said sunny with a big smile.
Sunny then glared at hitch and sparky to see them both fallen asleep. “That was quick,” said sunny.
Sunny then decided to make hitch and the critters breakfast while they all were knocked out. It was really quiet in hitches kitchen with everyone sleeping.
While making breakfast, sunny came across a picture of her and hitch years back. Sunny was shocked seeing this so picture. It has been so long since this picture was taken.
Sunny smiled seeing the image, and continued to make breakfast.
Hours later, hitch finally woke up, hitch looked at his clock to see it was 12 pm. “Shoot, I hope maritime bay is not filthy without my accent,” said hitch.
Hitch then walked upstairs to wash up. Minutes later, hitch felt much better, “What an amazing sleep I've had, hold on, what happened earlier?”
Hitch then thought about sunny. “Was sunny here earlier or was that just me?” said hitch. Hitch shrugged it off and went to the kitchen to get something to eat.
Hitch was then shocked when he saw a full meal in the microwave. Hitch was confused for a few seconds. “Yeah, sunny was definitely here.” hitch was grateful though.
Hitch then woke up sparky and the critters to come to eat their late breakfast.
Later on, hitch walked around maritime bay to search for crimes and messes. Hitch then came across sunny. Hitch walked to sunny while waving her down.
“Hey sunny! I wanted to thank you for making the breakfast for me and the critters” said hitch with a smile on his face.
“You are also a great cook as well, it was delicious! Said hitch”
Sunny took the compliment, she then blushed a bit. “Thanks hitch! Really appreciate it! Said sunny with a big smile.
“Also, I wanted to ask if you wanted to go Christmas shopping with me, said sunny.
Hitch was quite surprised, going with a great friend of his shopping may be to much for hitch.
“Hitch?” said sunny, while looking deep into his eye.
Hitch snapped out of it immediately and walked a few steps away. Oh, sure- said hitch.
Sunny smiled and grabbed his arm, she then looked hitch in the eyes and said “I promise you'll have fun! Said sunny before letting go of his arm. Come on hitch! We gotta go now! Said sunny happily.
Hitch standed there like a statue for a few seconds, hitch then blushed a bit, “I’m right behind you, sunny!” said hitch before catching up with sunny and walking with her.
While walking to the store, hitch looked at all the snow that was buried on the ground.
“Can't you believe it sunny, for the first time, it snowing?” Asked hitch.
“Yeah, it's a real shock!” Replied sunny.
“Do you remember the time when we both wished for snow? Well, I guess our wish came true.” Said sunny.
“Yeah, over a decade later!” Said hitch jokingly.
Sunny and hitch both starts laughing together.
A moment later, both of them finally reached the store. While inside, sunny comes across a huge Christmas tree in the middle of the store.
“Oh my gosh, look at the Christmas tree hitch!” Said sunny while grabbing his arm and tugging it.
“Aww, you act just like a little filly!” Said hitch
Sunny then looked at hitch annoyingly, she then kicked hitch in the leg.
“Ouch!” Said hitch while grabbing his leg.
Sunny then walks away. “Wait, sunny, I was just joking with you! Said hitch. Hitch then ran to sunny.
While walking past items that were on the shelves, hitch came across a beautiful globe, with a small snowman inside and snow falling everywhere around the globe. Hitch thought about getting it for sunny, but he wasn't sure how was he without sunny seeing what he has got for her.
Hitch has got it anyways, “I hope she likes this,” said hitch with a smile, hitch then came across sunny once again to see her with a cart of items.
Hitch was devastated to see everything she got, “Sunny, how much is this going to be!?” said hitch.
“Oh, calm down Hunny hun, I save many discounts on things here, for all these things, it may just be under 20$!”
Hitch was shocked to hear this but he believed her and smiled. Hitch then secretly puts the snow globe into the cart without sunny realizing it.
Several minutes later, sunny and hitch were finally done shopping, they both walk out of the store to see that it was pitch black outside.
Hitch looked at sunny, annoyed that they stayed in the store for hours just because of her.
“Sorry hitch, I'm just really specific about picking gifts for others, ya know?”
Hitch then smiled, “No worries sunny! I had a great time with you, I also had so much fun.”
Sunny looked at hitch, and she then blushed, “heh, thanks hitch, I also had a great time with you..” said sunny.
They then walked home together, while the moon shined on them.
