Both Princesses have decided to once again hold the ancient and infamous Canterlot Combat Tournament. Equestrians, Minotaur, Gryphons, Dragons, Diamond dogs, and even pure blooded humans from all over the world are going to compete. The Mane six, Spike, and even the CMC have been invited to come watch Luna and ShiningArmour fight their matches, and/or participate if they wish.

Though it is supposed to be just a friendly competition, there are many dangers involved. Foreigners hiding alternative motives, spies hoping to find a weakness in the mighty kingdom of Equestria, and people seeking revenge will also be joining the fray. The Princesses and the Mane six must be on their toes at all times, lest they get caught off guard and fall into ruin.
