the ballad of the Uss carolina

The USS Carolina was only about a day at sea when when ran into one of the worst storms in Virginia history. The crew batten down the hatches in anticipation of the storm.

"How is she running Mr Mallon" James asked.

"We are at about 13 knots captain I reduced her to slow ahead" replied Dutch Mallon.

"What in Sam hell is that" yelled James as a huge wall of water smashed into the ship.

James woke up as he found himself on the deck of the bridge.

"Oh what happened" James said to know one in particular.

"I don't know but we took a huge wave but received no damage. I turned us around to head back but we entered a fog bank and the radar is on the fritz" replied Dutch.

"That's good" replied James.

Just then the ship exited the fog bank and the crew saw a city that looked just like San Francisco.

"Where the hell are we" was all James could say.

In the port of San Franciscolt the head of the equestrian navy saw the unknow battleship heading for them and ordered the gun crew to fire a warning shot.

The crew of the Carolina heard the cannon fire and a huge spout of water landed about 50 yard ahead of the bow.

"Fire back a warning shot" James yelled.

One of the huge 18 inch guns move and fired its round right at the entrance of the harbor. now there was a stallmate.

In Canterlot a letter arrived telling of a huge warship at San Franciscolt. Princess Celestia called forth the bears of the elements of harmony.

"I have just received word that a huge warship is at San Franciscolt" Princess Celesta said.

"Don't worry we will help" replied princess Twilight as she and her friends headed to San Franciscolt.
