Rapunzel lay down Eugene on the ground, as life flew into his soul. His eyes were closed, but he was alive.
At least he’s alive , thought Rapunzel.
“Eugene?” she asked.
Silence. Then he opened his eyes.
“Did I ever tell you I’ve got a thing for brunettes?”
“Eugene!” I shouted. I hugged him, kissing him.

We stood up. We ran to Auradon, back to Corona.
