"Who's that?" Twilight asked "He's my brother, haven't seen him in awhile, just wanted to catch up.". Twilight replied "no, never heard of him, whats he look like?". "Well, he has black fur, and a red mane and tail with burgundy stripes through them, and his mark is an antique stopwatch, he also has a crush on somepony, I don't know why he had to pick the hardest-to-get mare in Ponyville to chase after, but I guess the fast ones are his style.". Twilight, after taking all that information in, asks "so who does he like?" "I don't know, I think she's a cyan color, and has a multi colored mane and tail.".
Twilight got wide eyed, "he likes Rainbow Dash?!" Dante looked at her with a little chuckle, "so thats the mares name, suits her.". Pinkie Pie added "and she's the fastest pony in equestria!". Dante gave a smirk, "you sure about that?" Twilight told him about the sonic rainboom that she can do, and that it was past the speed of sound. Dante looking in a somewhat impressed look asked "so she can reach and pass mach 1, is that correct?" Twilight replied in a questioning tone, "yes, why?". Dante chuckled in a somewhat evil grin, "well you see thats where I'm right, she isn't the fastest." Twilight looked at him baffled, "what do you mean?" Dante's evil grin grew wider, "My bro, he can hit mach 3.". Twilight grew wide "WHAT! So what you're trying to tell me is that your brother Red Flash can go 3 times the speed of sound?!" Dante, happy by this reaction, said "I'm just messin with ya!"
Twilight sighed, then finally realized something, "ummm Fluttershy...why are you still hugging Dante like that?!" Fluttershy immediately blushed realizing herself that was still on top of Dante on the couch. She jumped off, saying sorry. Dante, blushing himself a little, said "I-it's fine! Nothing to worry about!" Dante looking at the lavender pony, thinking about the word lavender scared him for a sec, he started to mumble "Lavender...." Twilight, looking confused at the light grey pony sitting up on the couch, asked, "huh, is it my color or something?". Dante stopped himself "never mind, just a place I never want to see again...". Twilight, still puzzled, decided to drop it, "so, shall we look for Red Flash?" Dante got up, not hurting that bad anymore, replied "sure, lets go!" Dante still felt a sharp pain on his side, but he didn't want to alert Fluttershy, so he left it.
......Outside, Walking through town......
Twilight asked "where do you think he'll be?" Dante replied "I dont know maybe watching Rainbow Dash fly around again!" They start to head where they last saw Rainbow. When they find her they ask her if she has seen such a pony, "nope, nopony with that description." So they started to look around again. They look through town, seeming like an eternity, they almost gave up. Then Dante noticed an odd looking pony, he wore an oldish looking brown trench coat suit, a pair of World War 2 looking goggles resting on his head, and on the goggles straps seemed to be a few gears and an antique stopwatch that was set to the right time. Then he noticed the color of his fur and mane. "Red Flash?!" Dante called out, the Steampunk pony turned around and looked at him, "Dante! Bro whats up!!!". Dante hugged his old friend and brother, then asked him "what's up with the Steampunk get-up?" Red chuckled "I don't know, I just seemed to like it!". He lifted up his wings to reveal they were covered in brass, a gear connecting them on his back, Dante looked at them for a second, studying them, "pretty cool-" "Your brother's a Steampunk?!" Pinkie yelled. "Yes I am... what's your name pinky?". Pinkie chuckled, "that's it silly! my names Pinkie Pie! Nice to meet ya!", Red laughing on how he guessed that right, said "nice to meet you too, Pinkie Pie!"
Twilight came over to them after finally noticing they were gone. "Hey everypony! Who's this?" she stared at the Steampunk pony for a few seconds until she finally remembered what Red was supposed to look like. "Red Flash? That you?" He chuckled, "The one and only!" She stared at him again, examining him. "Before you ask, yes, I love everything to do with Steampunk! I mean heck my gear on my back is worth a lot of bits!" She took a closer look at it, "why? It looks like a normal gear to me." Red looked at it, "ya, it was from an old mansion, the last guy to use it was some wizard guy I think?" Twilight stared at him in disbelief, "you mean that gear was owned by starswirl the bearded?!" "Oh ya that's it! Forgot his name somehow, oh well!" Dante got their attention, "I think we should head back to Flyshy's house." They all agreed and started to head off towards Fluttershy's house.
......At Fluttershy's house......
"Sooo, I heard that you have a crush on somepony Red!" Twilight said in a teasing way. Red said in a somewhat whispery growling tone "Dante, what did you tell them?!" Dante chuckled with a slight evil tone "Oh you know, just your name, eye color, fur and mane color, your crush, ya know the essentials!" Red starts to kind of get annoyed, but lets it go. Pinkie gets back from whatever she was doing outside, turns out she was getting somepony, "Hey everypony! Look who I brang!" The multi colored mare walks into the room. "Hey guys! What up?" Red try's to say hi, but can't do it. Everypony else says hi. Dante moved everyone to where the only seat left was a spot on the couch next to Red. She sat down, not thinking twice about it. Red slightly blushes when her wing rubs against him. Dante and Twilight converse about magic and whatnot, so Red try's to strike a conversation with Rainbow Dash. "Hey Rain, h-how are you?" Rainbow answer's almost immediately "fine! how about you?" Red blushes a little, "I-I'm fine!" She starts to check him out, he starts to get nervous. "Hey Red, what you're wearing right now, it's so cool!" And thats how their conversation started...
Feelings and Sacrifices

......3 hours later, outside Fluttershy's home......
Rainbow Dash walks out the door, "Cya later guys!" Everyone yells (Fluttershy whispers loudly) back "You too!" Rainbow Dash, happy she made two new friends, flew off to her house happy. When she finally gets home, after a few laps around Ponyville, she flops on her bed, the whole day running through her head. Rainbow Dash exclaims to herself "This has to be one of the best days this month so far!" Then she starts thinking to her self, 'I finally finished my new trick, and I met some pretty cool stallions! Dante Flash seems to be really close to Flyshy... did I just call her that? Wow, why does he call her that anyways? Oh well, I'll ask tomorrow. And Red Flash he's kinda funny, his outfit is pretty cool, and his mark is neat looking, wonder what it stands for...' She immediately blushes, 'Why was I looking there?!' she goes blank for a second, 'I mean I did just meet him, and he is kinda cute.... what am I thinking?!' She sighs and roles over, pulling the blanket up to her neck, 'Never mind, I'll worry about it tomorr-.....' wiped out, she falls fast asleep before she could even finish what she was thinking...
......Somewhere above Ponyville, noon......
Rainbow Dash is doing her laps again, each lap she gets a little bit faster, till she notices a small pressure in her chest. She starts to slow down, when she slows to almost a stop, she falls over the immense pain that wells up in her heart area of her chest. She catches herself just before hitting the ground, when she lands, she wraps her hoof around her, covering her chest, the pain almost makes her faint. She walks over to Twilight's house, barely able to keep balance. She knocks on the door, when Twilight opens the door, she immediately uses her magic to lift her up and lay her on her couch. Twilight exclaimed "What happened?!?!" Rainbow Dash explains as best she could before the pain pulses again, she screams in pain while pressing her hoof against her chest. Twilight picks her up with her magic, and teleports Rainbow Dash and herself to the hospital.
......At the hospital, 2 hours later......
Rainbow Dash wakes up to her friends with Dante Flash and Red Flash standing next to her bed. Red Flash asks her "Are you feeling any better Rain?" She looks at him, and try's to reply, but the pain pulses back, she clenches her teeth. The doctor walks in, she tells them she is about to get tests taken on her, so they'll have to leave. As they leave the room, Red turns around and says "Hope you feel better." Then he leaves to room with everyone else. A few hours later they are able to come back in. The doctor explains to them that they only have 45 minutes before they have to leave again, and that the results for the test will be down by the next day. Rainbow Dash looks very tired, Red asks the doctor why and she explains that "We had to use a medicine to get her to sleep and numb the pain, she may not be able to talk, but she can still hear you." Red walks up to her, he starts telling her that she'll be ok and that she'll be able to fly again real soon. Red Flash also came with a surprise, Red Flash held a book up so she could see it, it was a Daring Doo book, one she hasn't read yet. Red asks "Would you like me to read it to you?" She looks at him, and nods "yes." So while the others left saying goodnight, he stayed and read the book, he sat there and kept reading to her till she fell asleep, a smile on her face. He closed the book, making sure he kept a bookmark to save where he was. He walked up to her, looking at her, he kisses her forehead, and walks out the door, whispering "Get better."....
......The next day, just before noon......
Everyone comes to the hospital the next day, when they enter the room, the doctor comes to them with the results, she explains "I haven't told Rainbow Dash yet, I wanted to tell you all first before talking to her. She... she might not make it..." She looks down a little, "... Her heart is failing, I would give her till tomorrow night... Unless we can find a donor to donate their heart, but if they did that, they would die... But that's the only other option." They all look down, Reds eyes go wide open in fear. he starts to mumble softly "Sh-she's g-going to die.... she's going t-to die....." Twilight and Dante look at him, both of them look worried. Red walks up to Rainbow Dash, "Hey Rain." she looks at him and nods, he closes his eyes and smiles, talking softly, "Your going to be ok Rain, they said their going to have to test you a few more times, but you'll be ok..." She smiles weakly, Red continues "... And after you get out of here, I'll take you to your favorite place to eat. how'd you like that?" Her smile grows a little bigger, and she nods "yes." Red smiles again, "I'm glad. I'v gotta go do a few things, I'll be back later, get better." And with that, he walks out of the room, looks back and smiles again, a tear forming in his eye, and walks off, back to his house, to think about things...
......At Reds house, an hour later......
Red Flash lays in bed, his eyes dry, his face wet with tears, he felt so helpless, he mumbles on and on saying "please don't die.....please don't die.....I-I love you.....please don't die......."...
......The next day, at the hospital......
The doctor walks up to the others, who is with Dante Flash, wondering where Red Flash was. Red comes from behind the doctor, and tells them he has good news. Red exclaims "We found somepony who'll donate!" Twilight, happy at this good news, asked "Who's donating?" Red flinched, then replied "I don't know, but at least she'll be ok!" Rainbow Dash came out of the room, looking tired, She says weakly "H-hey guys." They all hug her, one after the other, she says "The operation is going to happen in a minute." Red hugs her last, "You'll be ok, I swear that." She hugs him back tightly, saying "Thank you Red, you've been really nice to me, and I thank you for that... I wanted to tell you something..." She stops hugging him, her hoof on his on the ground, "I-I.... Red, I... L-lo-..." The doctor interrupts, "We have to start the operation, lets go Rainbow Dash." Rainbow Dash looks at Red, and tells him "I'll tell you after, see you after." She hugs him again and walks away towards the operation room. Red walks in the other direction, he looks back, then looks down, a tear in his eye, and smiles slightly, and whispers "You'll be ok... I'll miss you..." Red walks off into another room. Twilight asks Dante "Where's he going?" Dante, a tear comes to his eye, and runs down his face, he closes his eyes, and smiles, "Damn idiot, always has to be the hero..." He chuckles, another tear runs down his face, " I'll have to beat your head in when I get there! Hope you can wait for it..."....
......After the operation......
Rainbow Dash wakes up, surrounded by her friends, glad she pulled through. Their all saying their glad she's ok, hugging her and talking to her. She notices that Dante Flash and Red Flash aren't with them, she looks around the room, only to find Dante Flash leaning against a wall, his eyes watery, a tear running down his face. She asks "Wheres Red Flash?" They all look down, Dante looks away. The doctor puts a hoof on her shoulder, and says in a low and sad voice "Well when Red said he found a pony who could donate... He was talking about himself...." Rainbow Dash immediately starts to water up, her head lowers, and the doctor levitates a note in front of her, she says "This is what he wanted me to give to you..." Rainbow Dash looks at the note, it reads:
Rainbow Dash, you mean a lot to me, I wish I could have told you face-to-face, but I never got the chance, I'll miss you, I wish there was another way, but at least I'll know that your alive, I love you, and I wish I was there to tell you that... I wish you the best, goodbye.
......A few moments later......
Rainbow Dash wakes up, in her room, its the morning. She looks at herself, 'no scars, no stitches, I'm good...' She immediately remembers what happened to Red Flash in her dream. She fly's out of her house, at almost full speed. She looks for hours for Red Flash, she can't find him, or Dante Flash. She asked Fluttershy and she said they left that night. She keeps looking through town. Then, after 3 hours of searching, she finds him walking down a street with his brother Dante Flash. She flies to him, literally knocking him to the ground, and hugs him with all she has. "Red! I'm glad your ok!!! I had a bad dream! You... never mind about it, as long as your here!" She hugs him a little tighter, he hugs back when he finally gets out of being shocked, "I'm ok Rain, theres nothing to worry about!" She keeps holding on to him, and says softly "Please, please never leave, stay here, stay with me..." He holds her, and says "I'll stay here, with you, and never leave..."...

...... Red Flash's house, noon......
Just a normal day for Red, kickin' back and relaxing on his couch in the comfort of his own home. But today, he was waiting for a certain mare to come over so he could take her out for dinner at her favorite restaurant. He was just about to nod off when he heard a knocking at his door. He checked the time, realizing it's not time for her to be there yet, he couldn't help but wonder who could be at his door. He approached the door, the knocking grew louder the second time they knocked, taking precautions, he grabbed his dagger he had in a drawer near his front door, he slowly looked through the peephole he has hidden in his door. He couldn't believe his eyes. He quickly placed the dagger on top of the table with the drawer and opened the door. Red exclaimed happily in an almost yell "Yakauku!!!".
He hugged him for a second, and Yakauku, a white stallion with a black stripe on his sides, and a jet black mane and tail, he also had a cutie mark that didn't look like anything he has ever seen before, said "Hey Red!". Red invited him into his house, when Yakauku noticed the dagger, he chuckled "Red, you still have that old thing? I thought you would have gotten rid of it after your last job!" Red smiled and said "That dagger is special to me, it was given to me by my grandfather before he died. And hell, can't let a weapon like that go to waist now can I?!", chuckling at the end of that sentence. After a few minutes of talking and catching up, Yakauku asked Red something that he thought he would never hear again.
"Red, I know you may not want to do this, hell I don't want to do it, but we need you for a mission, you'll be paid 15'000 bits, 7'500 in advance, and 7'500 after the mission is completed. You have the skills we need to complete this, I can't do it on my own, and even with F. C. with me. We can't do it. this mission requires speed, we need to take out the guards in front of the building before they can even get close to the alarm, and you're the fastest stallion in all of equestria! I know you swore never to go faster than half of your full speed, but we need that speed to do this. Do you think you can help us?"
Red flash, very surprised at this, thought for a few seconds, and said "You know I never wanted to do that stuff again. Being a mercenary is all in the past for me, and I think it should be in the past for you too." Yakauku not as surprised by this reply, tried to convince him, "I know that Red, this will be F. C.'s and my last mission. After this, She and I were going to find a place here to settle down in, will you please help us? And hell, it'll be like old times!" Red, still hesitant on doing it, thought about what he said, and said "Wait, not to get off topic, but you and Fallingstar Catcher are a "thing" now?" Yakauku, blushed a little bit, and said almost quietly "Y-ya, she means everything to me!" Red chuckled and said "I feel the same way about a certain mare here! Oh shit! just remembered, I was going to take her out to eat today! I can't do the mission if it's today!" Yakauku reassured him "It won't happen till tomorrow, and does that mean you'll be helping us?"
Red, still a little reluctant, replied "Yes. And by the way, who is the contracter?" Yakauku smiled and said "Remember Silias?" Red went wide eyed, "Him? No way! I thought he would have gotten killed by now!" Yakauku chuckled, "He has... A way with words you could say. He also has many links to... certain stallions." Red, not knowing what the mission is, asked him. Yakauku replied "We're capturing, or killing, Target Alpha 1. You remember him right?" Red gets a flashback of when he was a full-time mercenary...
Silias "Ok, Red, Dante, Yakauku, and Fallingstar, from bottom to top, this list shows targets by strength. The bottom being the weakest, the top being the strongest, the strongest being Target Alpha 1. No one know's his real name, he always changes it depending on his situation. He has many guards and an almost perfect alarm system. He will NOT be a mission until all other Targets on this list are taken care of. Now for your first mission...
The flashback fades. "Ya I remember, I'll have to tell Dante about this, he needs to know." Yakauku whistled towards the door, and Dante walked into the house, "Hey bro!" Red jumped up, "Bro! What are you doing here?!" Dante replied saying "I am also going to be in the mission, like Yakauku said, like old times!" Yakauku, glad that they are both going to help, said " Ok! Now that we all agree on the subject, we need to gather the right supplies for the mission. Red, you have your dagger already, Dante has his magic, Fallingstar has her bow and arrows, and I have my longsword. We need some throwing knives for you Red..." Red nods, "And for Dante, I think you could use your sword as well, so you're fine. I need to get some explosives, and some grapples. You all get some rest though. I'll get all the supplies we need. And hell, I don't want you to be late for your date Red!"
Red looked at the time and jumped up, "Oh shit! She'll be here soon! Ok, I have to get ready!" He opens the door for the both of them. "Ok, I'll see ya guys tomorrow!". Yakauku and Dante leave the house. Then Red gets ready for his date.
......Red's house, an hour later, 6:15......
Red, ready for the date, sits on his chair ready for his date to knock on the door. And like on que, a knock came from the door. He walked up to the door, and there was a letter on the floor outside of his house. He went inside and opened it, the words were made of cut out letters and words from magazines and newspapers...

Red, growing furious, yelling and cussing, flew off to Dante's house, who was also in a similar situation...

......Dante's house, 7:06 pm......
Red bangs on the door, yelling as loud as he can,
"They took her! They took Rainbow Dash!".
Dante came to the door, swinging it open, tears and rage in his eyes, his body a dark grey, his mark an upside down, bloody, red cross, and a black and red aura surrounding him.
Red started to stutter, "B-bro.... th-they DIDN'T! Pieces of SHIT!"
Red slammed his hoof down, a crater about 2 feet wide and half a foot down formed beneath him. Dante, not saying a word, motioned for his brother to come in. Inside, Yakauku, sitting in a chair, looked at Red with a sad-ish look on his face.
Yakauku started, "I am truly sorry about this... I didn't know this would happen..."
Red yelled "This is why I FUCKING LEFT THE JOB!"
Dante put a hoof in front of Red so he wouldn't try anything, and said
"I know you're upset brother, but it wasn't his fault, you know how pissed I am about this, and I cant WAIT to kill the fucker now! But we have to be careful about the situation, you don't know what he can do."
Red nodded "I know, but I am NOT going to let him get away with this! We start the mission NOW!
Yakauku looked at him, "Red I agree, I have the floor plan of the mansion here...". he points to it on the table
"This is a 3 story building, he is on the top floor, don't know exactly, he also has the girls there to. I will enter the top floor, Red will get the middle floor, and Dante will get the bottom."
Dante says "OK, so, when do I get to kill some fuckers?!"
Red looked at him scared, "Dante... that doesn't sound like y-you."
Dante looked back at him, and chuckles, "Oh, brother, it is me, I am perfectly me!" he starts to laugh like a mad stallion.
Yakauku, looking at Dante, and throws a throwing knife at him, which stops in mid-air in his aura.
Dante chuckled' "I don't think you want to test that again, cause it might come back at you!" he starts to laugh again, and calms down.
Red, still looking scared, asked "Hey bro, are you ok?"
Dante, shaking his head, looked at Red, his eyes changing from a chilling stare to a scared look. "Red... I-I'm fine, sorry, I blacked out a little..."
Yakauku, breaking the conversation, said "We need to start this NOW!"
And with that, they all packed up, and headed towards the mansion, Red still wondering 'What the FUCK was up with Dante?!'...
......The gate to the mansion, 8:29 pm......
Yakauku, whispers "You both ready?"
Red, chuckling, said "Hell ya!"
Dante, his chilling stare back, chuckled "Shall thy enemy die a slow and painful death!"
Red, looking at him with a questioning look, said "o...k....then... lets do this!"
And with that, they all snuck up to the mansion. Yakauku grappled up to the roof, red flew to the second floor, and Dante burst through the first floor doors, yelling "COME AT ME FUCKERS!"
The mansion was dead silent. Not a single Stallion or Mare in the mansion. Dante walked upstairs to Red, the aura around him was black, his fur was black again and his eyes were red. His mark turned into the upside down cross. He didn't look like he was hyper anymore.
Dante looked over at Yakauku, "I thought you said they would be here." His voice seemed more angry than before, but he was trying to control it.
Red walked over to Yakauku with a stare almost as menacing as Dante's, "Tell me you know this is the RIGHT mansion!'
Yakauku looked at them and then closed his eyes, just as he was about to speak he heard something outside. He looked out the window and opens his eyes widely. He sees Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash running into the building.
The three run down to meet the panting mares, Dante is back to his normal self and asks "What happened?!"
Rainbow Dash stammered, "They were trying to put us into a different train when one of the hatches got loose and we escaped. I was ready to fight but Flutter told me that escaping was more important and that she knew you all would be here."
Fluttershy hugged Dante tightly, "I was so scared Dante...*sniff* I thought there were gonna hurt us..."
Dante held her close and looked at Red, "I think we should get out of here before they find out were we are."
Red looked at Yakauku who nodded, then looked back at Dante, "Agreed."
The all went back to Dante's house to rest. Fluttershy told Twilight to report this to Celestia and within an hour two guards flew down to Dante's house to guard the house while they slept. As they slept, Celestia stay'd up all night waiting for the guards she sent out to find the abductors who took the two mares to come back with any news on them.
The New-Comer Pony
It was a normal day in Ponyville, the birds were singing, the smell of cake was in the air, and everything seemed normal. Pinkie went to take a walk, and just as she got outside she noticed a pony,stallion to be exact, with grey fur and a black mane and tail, walking into town, just as she went to greet the new-comer pony, she noticed something odd. his mark seemed to fade in and out, and he was all beat up. She called out "Hey mister, are you ok"? He turned his head just enough for him to see the Pink on Pink mare in the corner of his eye, she wasn't able to see his eyes through the shadow of his mane over them, he said with a slight grin "I'm fine, there's nothing wrong...". Just as he was turning his head she noticed a red line glistening in the sun on his face, it ran from the edge of his muzzle to his neck. He then started to walk again in a somewhat limping way down the walkway again. As he walked away his mark finally stopped fading, and to her surprise, it was a light blue ring, at least that's what she thought it was. She thought for a second on what to do. then she got up and started towards Twilight's house...
...... At Twilight's house......
*knock knock* "Its me Pinkie, I need you to come with me! I need your help!" Twilight came out and asked what the problem was, Pinkie explained as best she could. "So can you help me"? Twilight closed the door behind her and exclaimed "ok, lets go find this mysterious Stallion"! They head off into town, not knowing what was about to happen...
......In an ally somewhere in town......
"So you think you can just come back to this place filly"?! The New-Comer didn't want to fight, not again, not today at least. But here he is, surrounded by three thugs, in a dark ally. The leader called him out again, "I said why the hell are you back in town ya stupid filly"! He bucked the new-comer onto his side, he couldn't help but cough, he didn't answer him, he wasn't planning to. The thug to his right mimicked his boss, "Ya filly!, Get the hell outa here before we make you leave"! The leader bent down next to the injured stallion and asked again, but with a softer whisper like tone, "I'm going to ask you again, leave, or you wont have to leave, cause there'll be nothen of ya left to leave"! He finished with a yelling tone, he didn't budge.
The leader got annoyed at this, "Ok, I guess we're going to have to do this the hard wa-..." He was cut off by a familiar voice, well only to the new-comer, "Hey mister! Are you ok?" Twilight tried to stop her, but Pinkie is Pinkie. The new-comer looked at them and shook his head in a 'please go away NOW' motion. The leader got an idea, he walked up to the two mare's, and looked back at the injured stallion, "So Dante, these two horses your friends or what"? Pinkie immediately yelled at him, "Twilight and I are N-O-T NOT HORSES"! The leader just smirked and replied "Shut up ya bitch"! And proceeded to slam his hoof just centimeters from her muzzle, she immediately jumped back, only to be stopped by the other thug that somehow got behind them. Dante pleaded "Please leave them alone! They have nothing to do with this Smith"! Smith chuckled, "So the filly has a voice after all, now LEAVE! Dante couldn't help but chuckle himself, "So you actually think this fazes me, go ahead and kill the mare's for all I care, it wont faze me"!
Smith looked Dante straight in the eyes, "Are you sure about that"?! He put a hoof onto Pinkie, as she tried to move he only furthered the pressure. Dante asked "Please stop Smith! Leave them alone"! Smith only laughed at his anger, Smith threw a punch towards Pinkie. It stopped mid-flight, Smith exclaimed "What the hell"! Pinkie looked at Twilight, she whispered "Its not me..." Dante was on his hooves now, staring at the leader, "I thought I told to LEAVE THEM ALONE"! A blast of some sort emitted from Dante's body sending the leader and his thugs flying in different directions. That's when Twilight noticed that Dante's mark wasn't a blue ring anymore, now it was an upside down red cross. Then she noticed he was emitting a red aura, and that his eye color changed from a dark blue to a dark red. He walked over to Smith, who tried to punch Dante, but failed as he dodged the hoof, Dante sent his own on top of Smiths, and with a cracking sound, the limb was broken. Smith yelled "What the hell is up with you filly! Are you a demon"?! Dante just chuckled and said "Not quite, but unless you want to see what I can REALLY do at full strength, then I'd advise you get the hell outa town, filly"!
All the thugs left, running and yelling "He's a DEMON"! Dante walked up to the mares, now looking normal again, and asked them in a soft tone "Are you two ok"? They both replied "Yes" at the same time, so Dante walked away saying "Now don't follow me, I'll be alri-..." *thud* He fell to the ground unconscious. Pinkie yelled "OH NO, we need to bring him somewhere safe"! Twilight levitated Dante onto her back, "The closest place we know around her is Fluttershy's place, we'll go there, I'm sure she has the room for a few hours." So they headed off to Fluttershy's house...
......Fluttershy's House......
*knock knock* "Fluttershy, let us in"! She came to the door and let them in, she couldn't get a good look at the Pegasus cause Twilight told her to get some hot water and some towels. After getting all the materials Twilight and Pinkie stayed in the kitchen as Twilight instructed Fluttershy to go tend to his wounds. Dante woke up, laid on his back, on Fluttershy's couch, wondering to himself 'Why does this place seem so familiar...'. Fluttershy entered the room with a warm rag in her muzzle, she immediately dropped it as soon as she laid eyes on the Pegasus, "D-D-D-..."?!?! All she could do was stare at him. Dante looked over at the yellow and pink Pegasus, he chuckled and said with a happy tone "hey there! Long time no see, Flyshy"!
Past,Present,Future...
......At Fluttershy's place......
"...Long time no see, Flyshy"! Dante said low yet cheerfully. Fluttershy's eyes immediately welled up with tears, tears of joy, as she ran up to him, and hugged him tightly. "Dante! Where have you been?! Last time I saw you you said you where going to travel around the continent! What did you see?! Who'd you meet, How far di-" "Cant breath *gasp*, please... less... grip"! Dante interrupted almost fainting. "oh im sorry"! Fluttershy exclaimed, "It's ok Flyshy... just be careful, I'm still injured you know"! Dante chuckled. Twilight and Pinkie entered the room just as Dante said that, "Flyshy? Flutter is there anything we need to know about this"? Fluttershy, still hugging on to Dante, said "We're old friends, we met just before I moved here, when we lived in Cloudsdale, and then...." Fluttershy looks down, Dante notices this and wraps a wing around her to comfort her, Twilight had to ask "Then what"? Dante replies for her, "Nothing, please don't ask again...". Twilight saw that he was serious and that Fluttershy was upset, so she let it go. Dante gets a flash back, what really happened back then...
......Five years earlier, Cloudsdale......
Fluttershy was taking an afternoon stroll along a bridge, staring at the rainbow river just below her. Apparently Dante was doing the same thing, just in the opposite direction. Dante accidentally bumps into Fluttershy, she drops the flowers that she had in her muzzle, "oh i-Im sry m-mister"! Dante started to pick up the flowers for her, "It was my fault, I'm sorry". When all the flowers were picked up, Dante couldn't help but notice Fluttershy's eyes, he looks away and slightly blushes as she looks at him. "I'm sorry for knocking your flowers on the ground..." That's when he noticed she had a bruise oh her side, "Hey are you ok"? She realizes what he was looking at, she turned so he couldn't see it, "I'm fine, it was an accident that happened earlier today, don't worry about it". He decided to drop it, "Oh, my names Dante, Dante Flash, nice to meet you"! He's not good with mares, "Oh, mines Fluttershy, nice to meet you too"! 'Damn, her voice is cute... I don't have a chance with he-...', his train of thought was interrupted by Fluttershy asking "W-Would you l-like to come over to my house, I mean if th-that's ok with you"? 'Did she just ask me if I could....' "YES... I mean ya sure, show me where it is and I'll come over tonight, if that's ok with you"? Fluttershy said cheerfully "yay!... ok lets go". 'Damn, I guess I'm just that lucky, can't wait to shove this in my bro's face'! After she showed him the way, he went to his place to get ready.
'Wonder if she likes me or not... I need to stop thinking about that! I don't wanna bring my hopes up on something that's probably just a friendly chat at her place...' Dante continues to ponder what will happen when a black furred, red and burgundy maned Pegasus enters the room. "So bro whats up, you seem like you're in a hurry"?! Dante chuckles and replies "Well Red, I'm going to a mares house, just two new friends talking and stuff". Red gets a devious smile, "So, is she your MARE friend"? Dante slightly blushes at the thought, "NO, we're just friends"! "Ok, have fun then, I'm off to go watch my dream mare soar through the sky"! "You go do that Red". Red leaves the house and fly's away, 'Why out of all the mares did he have to pick the COLORFUL ONE as his "dream mare"'! Dante finishes up and heads out to Fluttershy's place
He stops just a few meters from the door, just as he goes to walk to the front door, he hears something slam against something hard in there, he also hears Fluttershy yell, "You lil brat! you think that I care if your scared or not?! You gonna say somethen Flutterbitch or what"! That ticked off Dante when he heard that through the door, Dante knocked on the door hard yelling "What the hell are you doing to Fluttershy"! just as he yells that out he breaks down the door. He see's Fluttershy on the floor, bruised and beat up, but what catches his eye is the red mark on her face. "What the hell you want ya lil colt"! Dante steps forwards "I came here to spend sometime with Fluttershy, not to see a drunken Dumbass hit her, and call her a bitch"! The drunk chuckles at Dante "So what, I can't call my daughter what I want now? Is that it"! Dante, shocked to hear this, gets even madder, "So... let me get this straight, your an abusive drunken dumbass of a father right? Why don't you go rot in a fucking hole you fucken limp dick bitch"! Fluttershy try's to talk him out of it, "Dante please go... I don't want him to get mad again"! "Fuck that! This bitch needs to be taught a lesson"! "Are you two horses done talken?! Cause I wanna see how much of a wimp this filly of a colt is"! Dante's mark changes, "I wouldn't call her any more names if I were you"! The drunk laughed again, "Sooo Flutterbitch, you gonna lay there like a slut or are you gonna huuu-"! Dante appears in front of him, before he could even blink Dante's hoof was already in his face, which sends the drunk into the wall behind him. "What the fu-" "I said to NOT call her any more names"! The drunk struggled to stand up, "How the hell you do that?! That speed is impossible *cough*"! He noticed the red aura surrounding the colts body, "What the hell is that"? The drunk now notices that he's floating, "What the hell! how are you doing this, your not a unicorn"! Dante looks him straight in the eyes, "I'll only ask you this once, you will leave her alone and she can do whatever she wants, agreed"? The drunk wasn't sober enough "Why the fuck should I listen to-" He gets slammed into the wall, by nothing! "I ask you again, do we have an agreement"? Dante smiles "Cause if we don't, then I guess I'm going to have to give you a little lesson on what Fluttershy feels like right now, depressed, lonely, scared, and most of all, helpless"! He lay there, in astonishment to what just happened, "We... have an agreement...". "Good"! He let the drunk go, he just sat there, not knowing what to do next. Dante walked up to Fluttershy, "Wanna go"? Fluttershy still staring at him, replied "Y-ya l-lets g-go *sniff*". Just as they leave the door, Dante looks back at him, and mouths the words 'I never want to see your face again, got it'! The drunk shook his head 'yes'...
......Back to the present.....
