Fireworks went off and ponies outside were cheering as The Grand Galloping Gala was going on, Flash Sentry was on of the ponies attending this event since he was a Royal Guard luckily he wasn'y on guard duty allowing him to enjoy himself. He was trying to enjoy himself as much a possible before the night ends he tried new things like concessions there or play party games with his guard buddies but overall the night was pretty okay or meh for his standards.

Flash decided to try another one of the Galloping Gala's concessions bumping into a unicorn along the way. All of a sudden that same unicorn used it's magic to steal a wealthy mare's saddle bag ''HEY THAT PONIE'S GOT MY SADDLE BAG!'' the mare yelled ''SOMEPONY STOP HER!'' the mare yelled once again ''Oh come on'' Flash said rolling his eyes before putting on his Royal Guard helmet and chasing after the saddle bag thief putting on the rest of his armor in the process.

''HEY STOP!'' Flash yelled chasing after the thief he assumed was a mare before pulling out a gun ''Out of my way everypony MOVE!'' the Pegasus said shoving a couple of ponies aside and some clearing a path for him. The unicorn then jumped out a window. ''Now that's something i've never seen a criminal do.'' The Pegasus Guard said jumping out the window being careful not to touch the remaning glass on the window or to step on the broken glass on the ground.

Flash then found out that the Unicorn thief had fled down the sewers as he heared hoovesteps echoing in the tunnels ''You did not just go down there'' the Pegasus said before jumping down into the sewers and chased after the saddle unicorn thief luckily still in sight. Flash flew after the thief too keep her in sight and to get to the other side of the sewers faster once reaching a ladder on the other side he briefly saw the mare as she got to the top of the ladder and climbed out of the sewers.

The Pegasus Royal Guard then continued his pursuit with the saddle snatcher before and hearing hoovesteps in a abandoned subway tunnel ''For Fucks sakes first the sewers and now this'' Flash said trotting into the abandoned subway tunnel and turning on the flashlight on his gun.

It then seem like Flash had lost the thief but when shining his flashlight on the tracks he found blood stains on the ground ''Oh fuck this might be a bigger threat thank i thought'' Flash said to himself before a mysterious hooded pony appeared behind him and put a rag over his face knocking him out.

Flash woke up in a subway tunnel his tongue was attached to metal device that looked a lot like a vice that was hanging from the ceiling of the tunnel the Pegasus was also standing on his back hooves which were on a wooden stool. His front hooves were tied behind his back with barb wire and both his wings were badly cut and most of the feathers were plucked off them. He struggled a little before the TV laying on the side of the tracks turned on showing a animatronic pony mannequin with Royal Guard Armor that spoke in a text to speech voice/computer voice (Voice from Spiral: From The Book Of Saw)

''Hello Royal Guard Flash Sentry I want to play a game my name is Cross, Canterlot's new bullet train is arriving in 2 minutes you'll have to decide if this will be your final stop. You've railroaded innocent ponies with your lies and false evidence proving them guilty and getting them sent to jail. Today it's you who will be railroaded your only chance of living is to rip off the tongue that you've used to lie and deceive, only your weight can be used to rip off your lying tongue and save you, take a leap of faith die or die live or die make your choice.'' Cross the animatronic pony Mannequin explained before the TV turned off

Flash struggled against the tounge vice causing blood to start flowing out and onto his mane. The Royal Guard was evantually able to free his front hooves from the barb wire badly cutting them in the process. He then tried to use the barb wire to prive open the tongue vice to no avail before dropping the piece of barb wire. This is when Flash saw the light of the bullet train. The Pegasus Royal Guard went for it kicking the wooden stool and falling ripping out his tongue only to be hit by the bullet train causing blood, limbs and a couple of organs to splat onto the windshield.

Time Skip At The Crystal Empire Law Enforcer Station

''Serisouly another case of you beating up drug dealers as a UNDERCOVER DETECTIVE!'' Gilda yelled at the unicorn detective ''What if some creature got killed?''

''That group of 8 creatures killed 6 ponies last week i could've caught them all if my cover wasn't blown.'' The unicorn argued ''IT'S WASN'T ABOUT THE COVER Diamond Sparkle you dweeb, you were there no backup nothing.''

At The Crime Scene

Canterlot's bullet train station were shut down and Royal Guards and a couple of detectives were their. Once Diamond and Laser arrived the examined the remains ''I've seen some gruesome things before but never this gruesome.'' Diamond said using her horn as a light source ''Hey Diamond i found the remains of a TV'' Laser said picking up remains of a TV screen ''Looks like the only thing we can go off of her is the fact that this pony was a pegasus'' Diamond said shining the light at a bloody pegasus wing

After the both of them returned from the crime scene and when back to their desk jobs at the station they came up with some theories''I say it was probably homeless pony who was hit by the bullet train'' Laser said ''Or maybe the homeless pony just wanted to end it all'' Diamond argued ''Sound far fetched but plausible.'' Laser concluded

Some creature then hit Diamond in the head with a package ''This package just came in it's for you two'' Informant Gabby said leaving the package down on Diamond's desk. When the unicorn opened it she found a usb drive saying play me when inserting it into Laser's computer and video file opened showing a spiral on a wall.

''Hello Diamond Sparkle and Laser Pointer i'm here to help reform Equestrian law enforcers to remind them of there oath to the ponies and fellow creatures of Equestria a Royal Guard from your department refused to reform he'll not be the last to play my game.''

''Is that Spiral what i think it is'' Detective Silverstream said

''The Hacksaw Killer?'' Laser Pointer said ''That's no possible the Hacksaw Killer has been dead for 15 years now.'' Diamond argued ''Looks like were dealing with a copycat killer'' Laser concluded

''Never thought i would hear something like a Hacksaw Killer copycat'' Gabby said ''Hey i know that building it's the abandoned fashion store The Carousel Boutique it was my mother's friend workplace.'' Diamond realized

Once Diamond and Laser made it The Carousel Boutique the unicorn started examining the Spiral This is when Silverstream and Gabby showed up there as well ''What are you two doing here'' Laser asked them ''Thought you could use some backup.'' Silverstream explained ''Fuck you Silver this isn't your case'' Diamond said rudely scanning the Spiral ''Um i think i see something up there'' Gabby said pointing her wing at a box sitting on the roof

Silverstream retrieved the box and chucked at Diamond's muzzle ''Ow that hurt'' Diamond said rubbing her muzzle she opened the box hoping to find a hacksaw but instead found a severed bloody tounge ''WHAT THE FUCK'' Laser yelled ''That's a fucking tongue'' Silverstream realized ''I think there's something else in there'' Gabby pointed out

Diamond used her magic to move the bloody tounge aside and grab a Royal Guard badge every badge was custom designed this badge had the number 100 on it with a lighting bolt behind it. ''Does any creature know who represents these symbols'' Diamond asked but no one seem to know

Back at the station once Diamond scanned the badge on her computer she found out the badge belonged to Flash Sentry one of the better know respected Royal Guards.

''Welp we were able to identify the badge it turned out to be Flash Sentry one of the more respected Royal Guards on this force you can worry about him later we're gonna catch this Hacksaw Killer copycat before that fucker can get any more of us,'' Royal Guard Captain Gallus announced

''Seriosuly that's It nothing more than a worry about him later well guess what while all of you were treating me like crap constantly refusing me backup, backstabbing me or more like shooting me in the back, Flash was a close friend probably one of my closest friends after Laser.''

''Oh fuck you'' Silverstream said which was her only response to Diamond's rant

''Fuck me, No FUCK YOU Silver FLASH WAS MY FRIEND!'' Diamond lashed out before trotting off only to be caught up with by Head Detective Glida ''You want to lead detective don't you dweeb cause it's fine with me.'' Glida explained

''This fucker killed one of my closest friends, you gotta let me take lead detective i gotta catch this motherfucker.'' Diamond explained

Flashback to a few months ago

Flash handed the Lady Gaval the photo evidence the last of his huge amount of evidence (Looked up mlp Judge Pony and she was the first result) ''Huh looks pretty authentic better run it through the magic scanner to make sure the picture wasn't altered with magic'' The Judge said puttig the picture through a special scanner. This is what made the pegasus nervous since he learned and casted a illusion spell with a magic wand but on the other hoof since it was a illusion of his own making it could be possible to make so the illusion magic couldn't be detected.

''It's authentic no magic to alter this picture was detected the picuture showing Dr Hooves robbing a local store is authentic so looks like due to the huge amount the evidence the court finds the defendent Dr Hooves guilty that's 200 bits out of you Dr Hooves not including lawyer fees .'' Lady Gaval said hitting her gavel.

Once security had taken away Dr Hooves, Flash packed up all his evidence and left the courthouse turning all his evidence back into it's orignal form ''Who knew casting a illusion spell and making it so the illusion magic couldn't be detected would actually work.'' the pegasus thought
