Praise for my sisters

Load Full StoryNext Chapter

Fragile-boned and short-lived, your arguments profane even temples

Yet who of your sisters rebuke you?

Ungainly on the ground, you define grace in the skies.

From filly to nag in short years,

we cherish you the more and your great-grandfoals after.

We love you, children of the sky!

Call out as you soar with your rough voices

Sing to us from the skies as you play

Remind all the tribes of the most important moment: now!

Crippled mutants, helpless without magic,

we kiss your twisted faces and give praise, our unicorn sisters!

Old since youth, from foalhood you commune with those dead

yet abide with the living, generous are you.

You who endure magic walk with Goddess

We praise you, sisters, who can unsee the beyond

We praise you, sisters, whose compositions uplift every heart

We praise you, sisters, who give us the most precious gift, your love.

Old magic, deep magic.

We thunder upon the earth below and raise the green and living.

Roots, stem, hooves, mane: all parts of one plant!

Dance, earth ponies, pound your hooves into the fertile soil

Dance for the life we create!

We all thrice-over mothers:

We give life to the soil, green buds raising praise to Celestia,

We give life to our kin, golden oats and hay,

We give life to the dance- Equestria's song, her music.

Without our hooves, there would be no rhythm.

All dance comes from earth ponies.

All dancers, winged and horned, honor us.

We are as solid as the earth below our strong hooves.
