Solas an earth pony and his wife Sonis a hippogriff are world-famous monster hunters tasked by many to take down the most dangerous of hellish beasts. But this time they were asked by a rich pony to find his wife after she goes missing on her island vacation with the villagers said the last time anyone saw her she was heading into the large foggy forest where a ghostly phoenix-harpy called the "Caellyore" or "The Ghost dancer" lived.

After learning about the monster they were anxious about the Caellyore and a bit terrified after learning about what it does to those who trespass into his forest home. But they were paid good money and a reputation to keep and they always were known to complete their job.
