Ocellus the changeling stepped out of her room and into the dorm room’s common area. This area served as a subsection that connected the groups’ bedrooms with one another as well as providing egress to the dormitories proper. Here a living space was found as well as a small kitchen area and communal storage. It was a comfy lounge space where the group could hang out, chat, share a snack with one another, or even play a board game or two.
Her friends were all gathered near the main door, ready to head out for the day. Some of them wore wide-brimmed hats and sunglasses while others packed day bags with towels or carried with them large sun umbrellas.
“What’s everyone packing up for?” Ocellus asked.
“You didn’t hear?” Gallus the griffin asked, ”we’re going to spend a day at the beach!”
“Beach!” Yona the yak repeated with a celebratory stomp of her hooves.
“Been looking forward to this,” Sandbar the pony smiled, “no school or homework. Just friends, sand, and waves aaalll day! Hurry up and get ready!”
“All day?” Ocellus repeated the wonderful news, doing her best not to seem too excited. “I dunno, everyone, I think I’ll have to pass. I...gotta study...for Ms. Fluttershy’s class.”
“Study? Now?!” Smolder the dragon exclaimed.
“She’s...having us memorize the names of tropical birds and I haven’t even made flashcards for most of them,” Ocellus tried to explain with the minimal amount of quiver in her voice.
“You sure we can’t convince you to come out with us?” Silverstream the hippogriff asked.
“I’m really sorry,” Ocellus replied, “I just have so much...studying to do.” “You all enjoy yourselves! N-no need to worry about me!”
Silverstream’s eyes met with Ocellus as the two friends looked at each other. For a fleeting, chilling moment, Ocellus worried that she wasn’t buying it. But then the hippogriff flashed a big smile and turned to the rest of the group.
“Okay! Last one there is a rotten snail!” And with that, she snatched up her bag and darted out of the room in a pink and blue blur. The rest of the group scrambled to grab their bags and towels before stumbling their way after her.
In seconds, Ocellus was left alone, standing in the middle of the empty common room with statuesque stillness. “All day,” she muttered to herself in astonishment. She could hardly believe her luck. All day! She had the whole place to herself all day! She was free to do whatever she wanted without worrying about being interrupted!
The studious changeling often had a routine when it came to her famous daylong study sessions. She’d brew herself a pot of tea, gather all her text books and studying aids, and then hole herself up in her room for hours on end to study. She actually really enjoyed the process, almost as much as she liked learning. But today wasn’t to be wasted on studying. Today she was handed a golden opportunity.
She rarely ever had the dorm to herself. With so many roommates and so different class schedules, there were often always at least one or two others in the dorm at one time. This wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. She enjoyed the company and even when she was hidden away in her room studying, it was nice to know that she wasn’t alone. But being alone had its obvious advantages. And she wasn’t going to waste another second fantasizing about it. An empty dorm was a crime to waste!
The spry changeling darted into her room and dove straight under her bed. She rummaged through the many boxes that laid beneath until she found the one she was looking for. She practically buzzed with anticipation as her eyes laid on the solitary, unmarked brown cardboard box. With her prize in hand, she pushed the whole thing back into the common room.
The first item to be pulled out of the box was a plain looking collar. The collar was made of a thin, barely bluish, dark silver metal. It was almost featureless, save for an inverted arcane rune pressed into the crest on its front. It felt heavier than it looked, although in the past she often forgot she was even wearing it. An item those in the bondage community would recognize as a null collar.
Shapeshifting was as natural to a changeling as a fish to water. It gave her species the unique ability to turn into other creatures and sometimes even objects. Those skilled enough in the craft could even completely alter their form into large monsters or tiny parasprites. It was a power a changeling could hone into a versatile skill, but it was also strongly tied to their emotions. A changeling could find themselves changing shape when consumed by anger or startled.
Ocellus had a nasty habit of unintentionally shapeshifting in times of stress. She’d often find herself turning into a little mouse when she was scared or a twenty headed hydra when she was angry. Her emotions so easily ran through her shapeshifting. She had gotten better at coping with it over the years, but sometimes instinct took over and she found herself changing shape purely out of primal instinct.
This special collar helped prevent any of that from working. With it on, all Ocellus would accomplish when she tried to shapeshift would be giving herself a headache. And that was important. She wanted to remove the option to just shapeshift out of what she had planned.
The metal collar clicked around her neck with a metallic ping as a simple locking joint kept the item snuggly fastened. Right away she felt a rushing cold pressure against her forehead, causing her to wince for only a moment. The twinge lasted only seconds before things returned to normal. She tried shapeshifting into a pony just to be sure and nothing happened. The collar hummed a low arcane hum, but her form didn’t change. Just what she wanted.
The next item to be pulled out of her box of tricks was a neatly folded diaper. Freshly retrieved from its pack of eight, the large diaper was just the right size to fit the meek changeling’s feeble frame. They were blue and white in design with pink ladybugs dotted across their surface. A cute print that she just adored!
She spent the next couple of minutes just staring at the diaper. So thick and fluffy and soft. It was like holding a plastic shelled cloud. She couldn’t wait to put it on!
Spreading it out on the ground, she eagerly plopped herself onto the fluffy thing, giggling to herself as the soft insides of the diaper tickled her bottom. She squirmed right there on the floor for a little bit as she took it all in. She was really putting on a diaper. Out here in the common room. Gosh, what if someone saw her!
She pulled the diaper up between her legs as quickly as her shaky hooves would allow. She was just so excited and nervous and eager and tense all at the same time! She was a bundle of feelings for the moment and absolutely thrilled she was finally here. She was finally doing it!
The diaper fit like a dream. Just the right amount of snugness. It made her feel safe and secure. Like a security blanket that she could pee in. The failed metaphor made her blush and smile to herself. It was just so soft. So soft and crinkly. She could almost just lay there in it and let the entire day slip away.
But she knew she couldn’t. Not with what else waited for her in the box. She needed to go all the way this time!
From the bottom of the box came a straightjacket, a coveted item she had snuck into her room months ago under the utmost secrecy. Made of a strong tan canvas, the outfit of thick stitching and strong straps was designed in such a way that it could be put on by the wearer and taken off just as easily. The buckles and straps were arranged all down the front of the outfit, allowing easy access. A line of locks were hooked around the straps in the back, a simple click away from sealing whoever was wearing it inside.
The timed locks she got for the jacket maxed out at an hour. This was by design, of course, considering that she could never see herself having enough to do. As fun as rolling around in full bondage was to the changeling, she knew from experience that eventually a wet diaper would need to be changed and she often didn’t have more than an hour to herself. She knew an hour would be more than enough time to do whatever she wanted to do.
She continued to quiver with excitement as she quickly climbed into the tangled mess of the straightjacket’s various layers. The heavy canvas enveloped her body as one by one her legs threaded into their long sleeves. Then, with a pull with her teeth, each strap that encircled the outfit tightened the whole thing around her. Her limbs were pulled up against her body, folded up tightly and made useless. The whole ensemble constricted around her body when she got it tight enough, hugging her form firmly.
Then, when everything was said and done, she simply rolled her back against the ground, hearing that heavenly series of clicks ring through the air as the jacket locks closed and started their internal timers. The snapping of the locks sent shivers down her spine. She knew she was finally trapped and it was only now did she feel free.
A wave of euphoric emotions rushed over the changeling as she laid there on the ground. The comfort and security of being bundled up, the sensory experience of the diaper pressed against her and rustling with each move she made, the freedom of giving up all control and allowing herself to be utterly helpless. It was all too much. She smiled happily to herself as she stared up at the ceiling, taking in the sensation of the diaper beneath her. She started to giggle softly to herself as she thought about how silly she must look in this ridiculous getup.
No matter how hard she pulled, she’d be trapped here for the full hour. She tugged and pulled at her restraints just for fun, reveling in pleasure as the bindings held fast every time she squirmed. She played with the idea that someone else put her here. Someone else grabbed her and tied her up and left her here to wallow in her helplessness. The thought made her squirm even more. She thought about it some more.
But who would have done such a deviant act like this? Her mind immediately thought of Silverstream, one of her best friends. The hippogriff was a central focus of many of her silly little fantasies that she spent daydreaming about. She even wrote some of the better ones down in her diary for...future reference. She was an easy pick for the changeling in bondage. Oh how she wished Silverstream would kidnap her and trap her and force her to do anything she thought of before releasing Ocellus.
She always thought of Silverstream as the kind of gal who could take control of the situation. The hippogriff had such a strong personality to begin with. It was only natural that she would be the type of girl to take advantage of someone in this scenario. The changeling would give anything to be tied up and forced to do whatever Silverstream wanted.
But such silly things weren’t going to happen. At least not anytime soon. She couldn't help but laugh at the thought. It was impossible she would ever be captured like this. If she was, she knew it'd just be a matter of time before she escaped! No, she had to enjoy this feeling while she had it.
Speaking of enjoying the feeling, her body happily chimed in, she hadn't used the bathroom since early this morning.
It felt so naughty even thinking about peeing herself here. On the floor in the middle of the common room where her friends hung out on a regular basis. A place where they shared snacks and chatted about their day. A place where they walked in and out between rooms. It was the same place the naughty little changeling laid in a straightjacket and a very obvious diaper.
Giggling to herself, it all began with letting go. First it was a small, warm trickle, but after committing all her focus on it, it turned into a steady stream. The sound echoed off the walls, bouncing off the ceiling and bringing a smile to her face. She laid there and stared at the ceiling as the diaper filled and bulged with urine. Her cheeks turned red as she thought of how silly she must have looked and how free she felt.
When it was all done and her bladder ran empty, Ocellus was left with a swollen diaper. She wiggled gleefully on the ground as the warmth spread across her diaper. There was something even more freeing just letting it go where she laid. There was no getting up to go to the bathroom. There was no need to concern herself with such things. She was allowed to just lay there, trapped in her bundled up straightjacket.
Laying there with the wooden floor chilling her back, Ocellus sighed and reveled in the peace. It was soothing in a way. She felt so secure, like she was wrapped up in a cocoon of safety. She had never felt so free from responsibility or the pressures of life before. It all made her just sigh and smile at the ceiling as the muscles in her body relaxed and melted.
If only she could stay like this forever.

Some time later, Ocellus groggily woke up. She found herself still on the ground, her face pressed against the hard floor with a stray bead of drool cooling by her mouth. She was still wrapped up in her straightjacket and her diaper now felt clammy, long since cooled over her unplanned nap. She rolled herself onto her back and yawned with a smile. Despite her face aching and her legs growing stiff from spending the whole nap curled up, it was some of the most restful sleep she had ever gotten.
She sighed contently as she rolled over to glance up at the clock, wondering how long she was out. Only much to her shock, she realized that she had slept for over an hour! And to make things worse, the locks hadn’t disengaged!
Craning her neck around, she discovered, much to her dismay, the locks that held her entire wardrobe together were not the magical timed locks that she was so sure she had, but instead mundane metal locks that needed a key to be opened. Color drained from her face as her suppressed shapeshifting caused a headache of dull pain to stab at her forehead. She was trapped!
She crawled over to her box of tricks and tipped it over in her frenzy. The various items inside spilled onto the floor as she hurriedly searched through the box for any sort of key. She shoveled past the pack of diapers, pushed aside the massage wand, and managed to rummage through the clutter until she reached the very bottom of the box. She looked and looked, but all she found was cardboard. No key or scissors or crowbar that would liberate her from her bindings.
Now reality was starting to really set in. She was trapped. But not like the fun kind of trapped. She was REALLY trapped. She’d be trapped here until the magic of the null collar wore off or worse...someone found her and freed her.
Fearful panic was starting to set in. She couldn’t just lay there and wait. She had to escape! She pulled at her restraints and tugged at bonds in every direction. Her body contorted about in hopes to find some miraculous position that would somehow release her from the bindings of her own doing. She tugged until her joints ached and then started to pull another direction. She tugged and tugged until she exhausted herself and was left breathless and panting.
And then, as if answering her prayers - or...her worst fears - there was a rattling at the front door. The subtle sound of scratching metal and moving locks could be heard before the door slowly opened to reveal none other than Silverstream the hippogriff.
“S-Silverstream!?” Ocellus’s face flared up with pink. Out of all those who could have walked in on her, it had to be Silverstream, “wh-what are you doing here?!”
“Me? Oooh I decided to come back early. Maybe help you study,” Silverstream said, never breaking her smile as she stared back at the bounded changeling, “what are YOU doing?”
“I-I was just uhm...working on something,” the changeling tried to explain, leaving it as vague as she possibly could. “I’m just having trouble finding-”
“The key?” Silverstream finished much to Ocellus’s shock. “Don’t worry. I got ya covered,” she then went on saying, flashing a small silver key dangling around her neck. She had been wearing Ocellus’s freedom this whole time!
“B-but how?!”
“Seems I might have accidentally switched your timer locks for regular ones,” the hippogriff shrugged playfully, “judging by that diaper, you’ve been stuck there for quite a bit.”
“Y-you k-knew?!”
“You really shouldn’t leave your diary out in the open,” Silverstream went on, “you never know if someone might snoop around...maybe read a couple pages out of hippogriff curiosity...” She gleefully trotted further into the room, brushing past the bound changeling and straight to her tipped over box of toys. “I think it’s super duper cute that you have these fantasies about me,” she mused, “kidnapping you and tying you up. I didn’t know you felt that way!”
