Previous ChapterEmile’s body was aching as he sat up on the coach. He looked about the room for his savior or her friends but they were nowhere to be found. He stood up and began to walk towards a window. Something crunched under his heavy boot. He stepped back and found a smashed mirror. He ignored it and proceeded towards the window. He pulled back the shade and the light of the morning spilled into the room.
“Emile, your awake.” A voice said. Emile turned to found the lavender unicorn in the doorway. Her horn was surrounded by a purple aura and a tray of food was levitating next to her, enveloped in the same aura.
“How are you feeling.” Twilight asked.
“Like shit.” Emile replied sitting back down on the coach, “Where’s Fluttershy and the others.”
“Rarity and Fluttershy are still asleep and the princess went back to Canterlot.” Twilight put the tray across Emile’s lap.
“Princess? Was she the big one?” Emile inquired, picking up a piece of toast and taking a large bite out of it.
“Um, well, yes.” She said. Emile chugged down the glass of orange juice.
“If you don’t mind, I’d like to ask you a few questions.” Twilight said, floating out a notepad and pencil.
“Sure, why not.” Emile shrugged.
“Where are you from?”
“I was born on the planet Erindus II.”
“Alright, What was the… thing that attacked Rarity?” Twilight continued.
“It’s called an Elite or Sanghelli...damn cove. Humanity has been at war with them and a handful of other aliens for years. Together they are the Covenant.”
“Okay,” Twilight said, scribbling words on her notepad. “Last Question. What are you?”
“Human, you’re telling me you’ve never seen a human before?” Emile said.
“Their aren’t any in Equestria, so no.” Twilight said.
“Equestria?” Emile questioned.
“Yes, that is the country your currently in.” Twilight said. Emile rubbed his head,
“Okay, your telling me I’m on a planet inhabited by talking ponies ruled by a princess.”
“Two, actually. Princess Celestia was the one you met. Her sister, Princess Luna, is the other.” Twilight said with a smile. Emile moved the tray of his lap and stood up,
“Alright, where’s my armor. I’m gonna try to find out how I got here and how to get back.”
Rarity trotted down the stairs, Emile’s armor enveloped in her levitation spell.
“I took the liberty of cleaning it. It smelled horrid, how long have you been wearing it.” She said.
“I don’t know, I lost track after the first month or so.” He said. He laughed a bit but a sharp pain in his side stopped him. Fluttershy trotted down the stairs behind Rarity. When she saw Emile in pain she instantly rushed to his aide.
“Oh, Mr. Emile, you shouldn’t be moving so soon.” She said trying to ease him back onto the couch. Emile just pushed passed her to his armor and began equipping it.
“I’ve had worst.” Emile said
He slide his helmet over his head and walked out the door, leaving the three manes sitting in the cottage.
“I can’t help but to feel bad for him.” Rarity said.
“Yeah, I know.” Twilight said, walking away.
Emile walked through the small town he learned was named “Ponyville”. He walked pasted a tree with windows and a balcony. He just shock his head and tried to ignore it. Ponies were giving him looks of curiosity, he even had a few of them come up and thank him. He proceeded through the town until he came to a building that appeared to be made out of gingerbread. A sign hanging over they door read “Sugercube Corner”.
At this point the felt like he was being watched. He looked into the window but all he saw was a pink mist that quickly disappeared. He walked about a block down the cobblestone street, still the uneasy feeling of being watched in his gut. He turned back to the gingerbread building. The door was wide open. He checked his motion tracker but only picked up the ponies that were walking passed him on the street. He walked until he was under a giant cloud house.
“What the fuck is this, Why is every house made out of some weird material?” he said aloud. A yellow dot appeared on his motion tracker. It moved from 25 meters to 5 almost instantaneously. He turned just as the blip hit his position. Something hit him in the chest and knocked him to the ground.
“Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh. Your that monster that killed that other monster. I need to throw you a party.” the hyper pink pony said as she bounced up and down on Emile’s chest. Emile rolled out from under her and picked her up by the scruff of her neck. He was surprised by how light she was.
“Now who are you?” he asked.
“I’m Pinkie Pie, party pony extraordinaire.” she said in a overly happy tone.
“Did you eat to much sugar this morning or something?” Emile said.
“You’re funny.” Pinkie said with a snort. Meanwhile, up in the cloud house, Rainbow Dash was just waking up at two in the afternoon. She stepped out of her front door and picked up the newspaper when the voice of her friend caught her ear. She peered over the edge of the cloud and saw the hulking mass that is Emile holding Pinkie. She sprung into action, diving off the cloud and flying towards the Spartan.
“Put her down!” she commanded. Rainbow came to a dead stop as she collided with Emile, who only stumbled a little while she fell on the ground. He pinned her down with his boot.
“Relax, I’m not going to hurt her or you.” Emile said, trying to calm her down. She squirmed for a few moments but gave up. Meanwhile, Applejack was nearby, pull an apple cart. She saw her two friends in the hands of Emile and the sprinted into action. She unlatched the apple cart from her back and sprinted towards Emile. Once she was close enough, she turned and bucked him in the back with all her might. Inside Emile’s helmet, the bar that represented his shields dropped to three quarters strength. Emile spun around, releasing both Pinkie and Rainbow. He whipped around, wielding his shotgun in one hand and pointed it at Applejack. She was surprised and scared, both by the fact that he had just shrugged off a bucking. He lowered the weapon after realizing it was just another pony.
“Why the hell is everyone attacking me today?” Emile asked, stowing the shotgun on his back.
“Ya mean you weren’t hurtin’ ma’ friends?” The orange pony asked. Emile shock his head.
“Oh, well ah’m sorry then Sugercube. Name’s Applejack.” she said, holding out her hoof.
“Emile.” he said, shaking it. He noted how unbelievable strong she was. She brought down his shield with a single kick.
“Well, I’d like to stay and chat but I got work to do.” She said. He saw Twilight running across the field towards him. When she got to him she was out of breath and nearly collapsed.
“I got… a letter… from the princess,” she huffed, “She wants… to talk… to you… at the castle… tomorrow.” she levitated up a set of train tickets, enough for Emile, Twilight, and her friends. Emile let out a sigh. He hated going to formal occasions.
"There wont be any cameras right?" asked the skull armored spartan-III
