Intermission: Arc 2 Intro

Chrysalis was down deep in the hive's caves. She was standing over a memorial to her husband.

"...So, it seems our own son has failed to return. I thought the brainwashing would show him just how cruel the world can be. But I guess he very much is just like you. So, then what is it? What is about ponies that made you want to sacrifice your own life?" Crysalis asked. "...I must find the answer, one way or another." She added before leaving the chamber.
